Can love really exist beyond death? Is it really the be-all and end-all of everything? Is it the most powerful force in the world? Sabine inherits a Manor. Nothing spectacular. Oh no, it’s a wreck well on its way to being a ruin. But for Sabine, it comes when her life is falling down around her ears. When those closest to her betray her. When blood is proved most definitely not thicker than water. It gives her a hiding place from the world, a place to lick her wounds, a place to heal and a big distraction from the hot mess her life is. Only someone doesn’t want her there, and he’s making no bones about it. Lord Daniel Harrington, mysteriously murdered in 1715, has chased off everyone who sought to inherit his beloved Manor. He doesn’t remember his death. All he knows is one minute he’s alive and contemplating that sneaky kiss. The next, he’s floating through walls and rather annoyed at the interlopers who invade his home. Now he’s met a woman who won’t be chased away. Whose pain is bigger than her fear of him. They come together in a clash of personalities. War is declared. But there are several someone’s who don’t want either of them there. Maybe it’s time to redraw the battle lines and focus on an enemy to them both. What’s the saying? An enemy of my enemy is my friend?

I was born in 1974 in Dagenham, Essex, England! I moved out of Essex in 2002 and moved to South Yorkshire and then settled in Derbyshire in 2005.

I've got four sons, one daughter and seven cats! I'm still working out who is more trouble, the children or cats! My children and I love cooking together, movie nights and music.

I've written stories ever since I was thirteen but I never had the courage to publish one before. But we all know the famous song... This is me, from the Greatest Showman. It gave me courage to Indie publish and be myself! Never under estimate the power of a good song!

My favourite holiday is Halloween and I'm known as the crazy lady in my street when Halloween hits! My love of Halloween even carries over to Christmas when, alongside my big "normal" tree I also have a Jack Skeleton tree!

My favourite movies vary, Star Wars, LOTR, Pirate Movie, Amazing Mr Blunden, Phantom of the Opera, Memphis Belle., finally Olympus/London has Fallen. Music depends on my mood, country, pop, classical, even bagpipes!

Rage MC is the first series I've Indie published and lots more Rage MC books will follow. I have several other series' I'm working on as well. WOW

Now this was an amazing story. The first page drew me in and never let me go. I have never read a story such as this. The premise was different and I was skeptical, but this story delivered. I loved Sabine and Daniel's amazing courtship. It was epic when she turned him into "Papa Smurf". I couldn't stop laughing at some of the pranks. I absolutely love "Rage", but now I have found something totally different to love. You are an amazing writer. Thank you.

Recommended.

I got this as an ARC reader and am happy I did. What a great story, I adored Daniel and Sabine. Previous books by this author have been hardcore and hard hitting. This one was light hearted and funny with romance and ghosts thrown in. The premise of the book concerned me at first and I wondered if Elizabeth was making a mistake in completely coming away from MC books. If it is a mistake, it's a great one to have written.

Following Elizabeth's format the story has likable characters and you can easily relate to them. There's some hysterically funny writing in this book while dealing with the difficult relationship between Daniel and Sabine. Henrietta throws a little light humour into the mix while St John's stern attitude counters her.

I liked Mr Evans and the supporting characters. A fun read and highly recommended.

I loved writing this book. Rage MC is a completely different series to Love Beyond Death.

I thoroughly enjoyed writing the characters although Sabine, Daniel and Henrietta pretty much wrote themselves. I love the mischievous side that came out of all three of them.

The plot changed a little as I wrote the book and you'll see why when Courtenay House comes out. There is an underlying theme to all six books that are planned for the series. One that will keep you guessing!

Daniel is everything you want a ghost to be and Sabine embodies stubbornness on a grand scale. I loved writing the humourous scenes and received great feed back from my arc readers, whom all want to know how I can top them in Courtenay House. Wait, did you meet Henrietta?!?!

I loved this book from beginning to end and the story line was very unique due to a human and a ghost falling in love for each other. I found myself laughing in areas with the pranks Daniel and Sabine played on each other and I loved the chemistry between the two of them. The personalities of the both was awesome and made the book very entertaining and very humorous. Elizabeth N Harris has written a brilliant book and s this is anything to go by I can't wait to read the next book in the series.

There's a great premise behind this book and I enjoyed it. The mystery kept you guessing and I didn't see the ending that happened. There's some funny scenes in the book and I thought the author had a great sense of humour.

This book was set in England so the language wasn't at odds with the story, I've gotten used to the authors more hard core action books so this one was a joy.

Sabine is feisty, lonely, scared and wary. She's been pushed around by her family and ex-fiancé who is a S**t. what he did to her was the lowest of the low and her family are terrible. The scene in the garden was kick butt, she finally confronts her demons and puts an end to her misery. I cheered for her and read it twice, you have to read it twice, it's so awesome.
Daniel is lonely and concerned about the east wing. His entire existence had been around stopping the east wing and he succeeds to a degree. He thinks Sabines weak and will fall for the east wings tricks. He's imperial and funny because his old fashioned views are at odds with his new modern ones. They are a great pair, full of angst and drama and lots of revenge tricks on each other. The shower scene was inspiried as someone below said.

I like this book lots, the characters were well rounded and the type of character you like to find in a book like this. Henrietta and St John set the scene for the second book and it appears this will be funnier than this book. Elizabeth has set an underlying thread going, one I think will follow on through the series.

I like Rage MC but this book was great too. A versatile author with great imagination.

Fantastic!

I wasn't sure what to expect, the previous two books I've read by Elizabeth were MC books so this one about a ghost and love seemed a stretch. NOT AT ALL. I loved this! The authors sense of humour comes through and there are some really funny scenes in the book. I had tears reading the shower scene and read it three times.

Daniel is autocratic, stubborn, and haughty. He loves his home and doesn't want anyone intruding and stealing what is his. He had a gentle side to him that took time to show but you could tell he was moving to fall in love, when he takes Sabine to the heart.

Sabine is hurt and in pain. She's been harmed emotionally by her family and it doesn't overtake the book. She's wilful and inventive and the shower scene was inspired. I loved this book more than the two MC books and this is going on my all time favourite book.

The lake scene made me cry, and I got such a great feeling from it, I had to read it several times, I loved the drama and Oakwood calling to its people. I thought the book ended halfway through as I couldn't see a happy ending but there was most definitely one.

Henrietta is a whip! as they said in the old days. I can't wait for her and St John's book, I'd love for Henrietta to run him ragged.

I was really dubious about such an abrupt change in styles but Elizabeth works it! Read this book, you won't regret it.

Holy Ghost hotness!

I’m absolutely in love with this book, I hope the rest in the series are just as good! From ghosts, to mystery, to history! All the things I enjoy rolled into one amazing book. I enjoyed the laughter of the pranks, the tears of sadness, and the heart warming love. Not to mention the mystery surrounding the Lord himself! Bringing a historical tale to new light can be somewhat of a hassle but this book did it and kept me intrigued all throughout the book. I read late into the night and today I’m tired and it was so worth it! I’m already starting on book two!

Oakwood Manor

Fabulous read. I absolutely loved Daniel and Sabine’s story ❤️❤️❤️ it’s quite an extraordinary read, I had many smiles, a few giggles at the antics these two got up to. Sabine’s family were quite wretched to her but got their comeuppance when they assumed she would share her windfall with them just because they were her family but the fierce, strong, protective woman Sabine became defended herself and her home and sent them packing with their tails between their legs. 100% recommend this book to everyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I love Elizabeth N Harris’ books. The Rage series and the Hellfire Series are two of my favorites

But I was hesitant to read this series. Don’t get me wrong. I love PNR. But. A ghost story that the MMC is an actual ghost. I didn’t think that I would like it. I was very very wrong. I loved this book. I read book 2 in about 4 hours and will be starting book 3 shortly

Once again Elizabeth N Harris proved to be a fantastic writer

This book is quite simply lovely. It’s a warm, cozy quilt of a book that you can curl up in for a comforting and fun read. It’s definitely going on my re-reads list in spite of multiple typos, grammatical errors and one phone call where it abruptly changed from third to first person. Normally just one of these things would be enough for me to DNF a story but this book was just so lovely I didn’t care about all of that. I just wanted to be in the story.

While this isn't my normal type of story, I figured I'd give it a shot. There's a first time for everything right? What I didn't expect was to get completely consumed in a story about
Sabine and Lord Daniel Harrington. Yep I said Lord and guess what? HE'S DEAD!!! This book had me laughing and crying and eagerly anticipating each page.

Ghostly Encounter

Wow...never read anything like that before.
Always a first time.
The protagonists are really funny with their duel of sorts. Trying to keep from laughing about the blue incident, you must be a statue.
Brilliant descriptive details of the Manor had me reading slowly so that I didn't miss a beat.

This story is vastly different than what I have been reading lately, aka very little smut, but I greatly enjoyed the banter, the sass and the eventual love between the main characters. I also enjoyed the brief glimpses into POV's from other characters not just the main 2 which provided insight and alternative perspectives on some situations.

A little cheesy

The first half was SO good! Then about 2/3 of the way through it got a little cheesy and maybe too much uninteresting detail. The mystery was solved and somehow it just kept going. I’ll read the next in the series, but wish all that detail about the village wasn’t in there.

I love Elizabeths books, I've mostly read her MC's series and the Washingtons. I've just recently started to read this series, and I'm hooked, there's laughter and mystery and a live story interwoven and it's just perfect

Great Read.

The plot was great, a new twist on a ghost and love story. Very cleverly written. This is different from the other books this author has written and yet just as good.

Different

This one was a bit different! How can you have a love story if one of the players is dead? Read on and find out. Great story with plenty of action and twists.
