Mor and her mates are in for the fight of their lives.
Atreyu has been kidnapped and Mor will stop at nothing to get him back. On top of that, Boris Thornheart has surrounded the castle and conscripted the Fae of Water and Fire. Mor must save Atreyu and find a way to free the conscripted Fae.
Mor’s power is growing and she must learn to control it, or all will be lost. Will they be able to rescue Atreyu and the conscripted Fae? Mor and her mates will test their limits and stop at nothing to save the magic realms. But will it be enough?
I enjoyed the conclusion to this Fae Reverse Harem Fantasy trilogy. I think if I had read this as a physical book, it might have been less…saccharine. The narrator, while fluid and performing a range of characters, managed to lose a lot of the tension due to pacing and the high pitched MC voice. The reverse harem was light on the explanation (fated mates, complete immediate acceptance by all parties etc) and the sex scenes weren’t as varied as I would expect with 6 different characters and their personal tastes. There was also some stodgy, repetitive dialogue and the use of curse words redundantly, but I overlooked that as perhaps this series is geared more to a younger audience of 18-20 years. I enjoyed the characters of Max and Morgana the most, they both had emotional depth and I was invested in their storylines. A spin off with Morgana’s story would be welcome. All in all, this was a pleasant listen, without too much thinking, and the ending wrapped things up nicely. Would suit readers of Everly Frost and Quinn Loftis.
The author made a mortal sin, yes pun included, by bringing in personal religious beliefs. Authors should not bring their personal politics nor their religious beliefs into their fiction books unless the story is about them. In previous books, the author made snarky comments about Christians, but I thought I misinterpreted them. However, in this last book, she blatantly bashes Christianity and criticizes their beliefs. Then she made a comment that Christians dislike lucifer because he allows free thinking and lack of judgment from a holes. If you agree with this author, then you won't mind the books. However, if you have similar thoughts as me, you will be offended by this book. I figured if the author did not respect me and my beliefs, then there is no reason to give her my time and money. It is a shame. The series was interesting.
The writing was a little better, and by a little I mean barely. The story was not. The characters are still one dimensional and inconsistent. The lore is still underdeveloped. We knew that More was going to save the day because despite the fact that she has zero training and even less knowledge she is the best ever. *eye roll* Also, it was obvious that nobody on team More was going to get killed so there was no real concern for or about the characters. It was incredibly predictable. I had more fun complaining about the story to my bestie than I did actually reading it. I will not be reading anymore from this author.
XXX! Adult content, reader discretion advised. Mor got her men in the previous books and established her enemies. This book brings allies from an unexpected mythology. Don't worry, there are some good battles. Though I feel the final battle with Boris ended too quickly and we didn't get to see/read any of the girl fight between Mogana and Salina. That could have been epic. Overall it's a cute story the is a fast read.
I started this series by boredom and I am happy to say I was not bored while I proceeded to read. Sexy and loving all at the same time. Explicit and naughty but story line stays true and clear. Author kept the plot true and never got confused and each new book was started. It would pick up where ended. This was a great story and I enjoyed every minute of each character and how they interacted.
I absolutely loved this book and this series! Mor is a fantastically bada$$ FMC, and her men are just as bada$$ and as sexy as sin! This is an entertaining and addictive series! Betrayal, Sexiness, Tons of Magic, Dragons, Fae, an Evil Villain, and Action galore, who could ask for anything more! A Must Read in my book!
I really enjoyed the story and how Eva Blackwing chose to end the series. This book would have gotten all 5 stars... but, unfortunately, there were too many grammatical errors for me to overlook them like I did in the first two books. Other than that, though, a stellar conclusion to a fantastic series.
I love the twists and turns this series has taken - it was quite refreshing to have a different plot line and a crossing of various “fables” brought to life in different ways. I’m sad we didn’t have a little more info on Mor’s magic, but I loved the steamy scenes and the final battle. I hope to see a spin-off series too!
Fabulous ending. I only gave 4 stars because of grammatical errors throughout the book but that really isn't even what bothered me the most. I really wish that there would have been an expansion on some of the other characters' storylines. Who knows maybe the author will decide to write more about these characters at a later date.
I was completely caught by the series and couldn't put the book down so many laughs and just a great read. If you enjoy a fun story with a bit of everything then it's a must read. I will be reading it again
I loved the conclusion to the series. Mor is one of the strongest FMCs in a long time. I loved the blend of myths that came together in this book. And I'm going to be disappointed if there aren't some spin-offs for some characters.
What an epic ending to this series! Mor and her mates go through so much! The trails that they go through are not easy but in the end so worth it! Bravo for the good storytelling!
I have a one-track mind. Must. Rescue. Atreyu. Nothing. Else. Matters. Let’s just say I experienced a lot of stress in this end-it-all battle between good and evil. But all is not lost. At least not anyMor. P. S. I still don’t like Arthur 😉
This was a fun read. I really loved Mor and her mates. If you want a happy ending with loving mates then this is the story for you. Thanks for an enjoyable few nights of reading.
This is the first time I've read this author. She has a great mixture of 😁 everything needed for a great series with opportunity to expand. Her writing reminds me of KF Breene.
Basic, predictable, but very cute. This is an easy read fantasy reverse harem with an evil that must be conquered. Five mates and mild sexy scenes. Several misused words and punctuation errors but readable.
This is a really good series slow/medium burn. There were some twists that you didn't expect but overall a really good plot/character development/romance.
I enjoyed the book and it’s a good end for the story. I liked the unexpected changes in mythology and lore a lot. I would love to read about Morgana as well.
