Magnolia Sound #5

Can’t Help Falling in Love

Rate this book
Hunter Jones never thought that shared custody would be part of his life, but it’s the only way to make sure his son still has both parents in his life. But when his ex’s increasing unpredictability leads to a missed day care pick up, he’s not so sure shared custody is the best option anymore. Never mind that he’s now the one being accused of bad parenting by a total stranger.

Violet Drake has zero patience for poor parenting. There’s nothing that angers her more than seeing parents behave in the same irresponsible way her own parents did throughout her childhood. But after going off on a perfect stranger late to pick up his son, her conscience gets the best of her and she realizes she may have been a little harsh.

Violet is only supposed to be in Magnolia Sound for a short time to help out her best friend, so getting involved with a single dad is the absolute last thing she should be doing.

Their timing is all kinds of wrong, but sometimes you just can’t help yourself.

I love Magnolia Sound and the storylines that Samantha Chase has chosen for each one of the books in the world. They fit so well with what I picture this beautiful town to be like and every time I see that she’s written a story in this world, my heart smiles!

Hunter & Violet … an unlikely pair on paper but they fit like a glove! They brought the best out of each other and made for a such a swoony story! Let’s not forget their addictive spark! Between Violet’s sass and Hunter’s stubbornness, you won’t be able to put this book down! They were addictive! Well done once again!!

The emotion speaks for itself. Chase says more with very little. Emotion bleeds off the page and pulls at the heart. Violet and Hunter are easy to understand, yet sometimes hard to love. Hurt by the lessons life has taught them, love is only a blip on the radar until something happens that changes everything. Can't Help Falling in Love is a perfect description of the feelings that this story and these characters stir up. Sweet Serendipity.

Can’t Help Falling in Love is a heartwarming story of a couple who at first glance appear to have little in common. Violet Drake and Hunter Jones are strong, independent people who want what most people take for granted-they want to be loved unconditionally. Samantha Chase wowed me with this charming novel set in Magnolia Sound.
Firefighter Hunter Jones is a stressed out, single dad who is trying to balance his job and caring for his three –year old son. He spends most of his free time figuring out who can help him take care of Eli when he has the night or overnight shifts at the firehouse. Hunter’s daycare anxieties are about to escalate because Katie, Eli’s primary care giver, is about to go on maternity leave.
Hunter and Violet’s first meeting can be best described as confrontational. She rips into him for forgetting to pick up Eli at daycare. Violet has no respect for neglectful parents and Hunter has not made a good first impression. Hunter arrives the next day with a peace offering to Katie and Violet; a dozen chocolate cupcakes.
Samantha Chase creates flawed, engaging characters that a reader can identify with. Hunter’s situation drew me into the story. He’s a single parent raising trying to juggle work and childcare. His life is pretty structured and he has no time for himself. Violet is the total opposite; she’s a travel agent who loves her job and the perks that go with it. She loves to travel and has a positive attitude. Growing up in the foster care system taught her not to get attached to anyone or any place.
I am enjoying Samantha Chase’s Magnolia Sound Series. The past few novels have focused on the Jones family and I am enjoying the family vibe between Domenic Jones and his children. The camaraderie between the Jones brothers makes me smile-especially the conversations between Kyle and Hunter. The importance of family and closeness of the brothers reminds me of Ms. Chase’s Shaughnessy Brothers series.
Can’t Help Falling in Love takes it up a notch because the couple has a deadline-they have six weeks before Violet returns to Nashville. The timing is all wrong and they are two very different people… but their attraction, their feelings for each other are very, very real. Hunter and Violet’s story is poignant, emotional and filled with love and hope.
If enjoyed Samantha Chases Shaughnessy Brother’s series—as much as I did—then this is the perfect book for you. Settle in with a glass of wine and corgi in your lap and enjoy every word!

Can’t Help Falling In Love
Magnolia Sound #5
Samantha Chase
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Another great story for the Magnolia Sound series, I love seeing the lives of each character come to life in this series, as each couple finds their forever after at the Sounds characters widen, it really is a plaice to fall in love 🥰.

Violet has moved her life to Magnolia in the short time to stay with her best friend who is having a baby. With Katie’s husband away on deployment, Violet is helping with daily routine, her childcare business and their bust 3 yr old daughter. It one little boy takes her heart, gorgeous Eli, comes from a broken home, he’s very quiet, doesn’t say much and soon she knows why.

Hunter Jones, has enough on his plate as a full time firefighter and a young son whom he shares custody with his ex fiancé. Now that woman has asked and left Eli at daycare, and not picked up. When Hunter arrives at Katie’s house he comes face to face with a not to happy woman who serves up a plate of bad parenting. With no defence he walks away, but that woman shocked him and he kind I’d liked it. Now he’s going to find out more about the outspoken woman living with Katie. Yeah he’ll need cupcakes.

After their heated conversation, Violet is surprised to see Hunter to show up the following day, but her surprise takes another step when she discovers what Hunter and Eli are living with, it’s no wonder Eli hides inside himself. Using that knowledge, she finds an easy pact with Hunter that comes with a little smitten-ness, Violet helps bring Eli out of his shell. He’s a gorgeous, sweet little boy that needs something for him… yep, tumbling and yoga. He fits right into Violets crazy world.

As Hunter and Violet enter a vague but sexy relationship, it becomes clear that there is more than a fling happening. But Violet isn’t staying in Magnolia, she’s moving back to Nashville where her business is, her house is, her friends…. Well maybe they’re not. So begins the Downfall. Hunter is so headstrong, he’s set in his ways and likes his single handed hold over Eli, forgetting Violet’s past and her insecurities. Hunter will lose the best thing that ever happened to him if is doesn’t wake up to the beautiful, smart sexy woman who crashed into his life.

Hunter is firefighter who is finding that trying to co-parent his son with his ex quite a challenge as not only doesn’t she stick to their schedule but now she has left town with no warning and giving him full custody. He and Violet don’t get off to a good start as she believes he is a neglectful parent not realizing that his ex was supposed to pick up his son.

Due to their upbringing Violet’s friend Katie is more sister than friend so when she needs help as her second baby’s arrival draws near Violet has moved in with her temporarily. She wasn’t expecting the feelings she developed for both father and son nor how they loved her just the way she was.

Hunter and Violet have very different backgrounds as he is part of a loving family while she only has Katie. Their lifestyles are complete opposites as well as Hunter’s roots are firmly planted in Magnolia while she thrives on the adventure of travel. The one thing they do have in common is the love they have for each other and only they can decide if that is enough.

I love Samantha Chase and she is the queen of writing family series and small-town romances. I Can't Help Falling in Love is book 5 in the Magnolia Sound Series but can be read as a standalone.

Hunter and Violet on paper seem like total opposites, but the chemistry between these two from day one says otherwise. Hunter is a single dad, who is trying to navigate the full custody of his son, working and falling in love with the one girl he shouldn't be. Violet is temporary, or so she keeps telling herself. She's only in Magnolia Sound for a little while. She's an independent woman, ready to take on the world. But there is a pull she's never had before when she's around Hunter that she just can't explain.

There were times I wanted to shake both of them and say OPEN YOUR EYES!!! But overall I loved this book and these characters. I will definitely be going back and reading the books in the series I haven't read yet.

Hunter Jones is a sexy single dad who also happens to be a fireman. He he tends to be on the cautious side when it comes to love, but he is an amazing guy.
Violet Drake is a wonderful friend and travel enthusiast. That comes in very handy since she owns her own travel agency. When she comes to Magnolia Sound to help her pregnant friend Katie she meets Hunter. They don’t exactly start out in the best of ways.
Can’t Help Falling in Love was fun, flirty and so sweet! Hunter and Violet are a great balance for each other. I love how thoughtful Violet was of little Eli. You could feel the chemistry between the two just sizzling. I loved the storyline and all the characters, and of course I loved being back in Magnolia Sound, one of my favorite book towns to visit!!

This was a great romance! The MCs get together pretty early in the book, so at first I wasn’t sure how the story would keep me interested since I love a good push and pull. But the author did a great job pacing both the romance and the individual arcs of the main couple.

The third-act breakup wasn’t bad—those usually annoy me—but here it didn’t drag on, and there was actual communication (even though it mostly happened because of the MMC’s stubbornness). Overall, this was a great audiobook and perfect if you’re looking for a quick, enjoyable read 🫡

I just want to move to Magnolia Sound, love the characters and I want to have cupcakes at the bakery. Hunter is a single dad and a firefighter (What more do you want!!) and the last thing on his mind is finding love. Violet is only in Magnolia Sound temporarily, she is a travel consultant. She grew up in the foster system, and has a hard time believing in one happy family forever. Neither than can deny their feelings for each other but can find their HEA.

A wonderful story that I could not put down. Love these characters, both are strong but afraid to move forward from previous heartbreak. Full of family love. This book is part of a series but can be read as a stand alone. I highly recommend this book!!

3.75 stars--CAN’T HELP FALLING IN LOVE is the fifth instalment in Samantha Chase’s contemporary, adult MAGNOLIA SOUND romance series. This is fire fighter/ paramedic/ single father Hunter Jones, and travel agent Violet Drake’s story line. CAN’T HELP FALLING IN LOVE can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous instalment is revealed where necessary.

Told from dual third person perspectives (Hunter and Violet) CAN’T HELP FALLING IN LOVE follows the building romance and relationship between is fire fighter/ paramedic/ single father Hunter Jones, and travel agent Violet Drake. Violet Drake is only in Magnolia Sound for a few weeks, awaiting the birth of her best friend’s child. Violet doesn’t do relationships having been raised in the foster system for far too long. Never one to set down roots Violet prepares for her next adventure but her unexpected friendship and relationship with fire fighter Hunter Jones forces Violet to reconsider her plans for the future, plans Violet struggles to need or accept.

Hunter Jones is a single father but has always wanted a happily ever after. Meting Violet Drake gives Hunter hopes for a future but Violet’s need to run, and stay on the move finds our hero battling between head and heart as he refuses to uproot himself from family and friends

The relationship between Hunter and Violet begins acrimoniously as Violet is quick to judge our hero. Late to pick up his son from daycare, Hunter is met by a judgmental stranger, a stranger who stirs something within our story line hero. Violet is constantly on the go; wanting to travel to avoid the potential problem of rejection and loss. A few weeks in Magnolia Cove and her developing relationship with Hunter finds Violet ready to run when Hunter suggests Violet stay and try to give it a go. The $ex scenes are all implied.

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful secondary and supporting characters: Violet’s best friend, child care provider and former foster care ‘sister’ Katie, and her husband Brian, as well as Brian’s other Rose; Hunter’s father Dominic Jones, and his brothers Kyle, Dean (and Courtney) and sister Scarlett (In Case You Didn’t Know #3), and Hunter’s son Eli.

CAN’T HELP FALLING IN LOVE is a story of family, friendships, relationships and love. Hunter is a bit of a homebody that doesn’t like to travel claiming his first responsibility is his family and job. Violet, on the other hand, is a woman who struggles with demons from the past, and in this, Violet refuses to accept that she is capable of love, or of being loved in return, and therefore spends her time traveling the world yet her actions come across as selfish and self-involved. The premise is entertaining and engaging; the romance is sweet-all of the $ex scenes are implied ; the characters are sassy and energetic.

Amazing story! Hunter, the firefighter, the single dad, falls for the woman, Violet, who tells him off! Classic miscommunication, but funny nonetheless. Violet never had family, but she makes Hunter’s shy son laugh, and suddenly is part of one. Great characters, love catching up with the Magnolia Sound folks.

Samantha Chase has delivered another wonderful romance with Can’t Help Falling in Love, the fifth book in her Magnolia Sound series. As always, I love the Magnolia Sound, setting and catching up with the some of the other characters from the other books in the series. I so enjoyed the book that I am looking forward to reading the remaining books in the Magnolia Sound series. I have read other books by Samantha Chase and have really enjoyed her wonderfully written stories. Samantha Chase has once again shown that she is an amazing storyteller. I could not put it down. I loved every page. I enjoy how Samantha Chase writes from the perspective of the two main characters. That way you get to know what is going on in each of their minds. Can’t Help Falling in Love is a wonderful love story and is filled with heartbreaking and heartwarming moments. I love the lighter moments where I find myself smiling and laughing out loud and the bittersweet moments that cause me to sigh, say aww to myself with tears filling my eyes. Can’t Help Falling in Love be filled with such moments, and with so much emotion. It is filled with all those things that we have come to love and expect in a love story, especially the poignant and bittersweet moments that filled this page turner. Can’t Help Falling in Love is the story of Violet Drake, owner of the Talk Travel to Me travel agency and Hunter Jones, a firefighter and single father. Violet is visiting Magnolia Sound from her home in Nashville to help out her pregnant best friend, Katie Holden while Katie’s Marine husband, Brian is deployed. Violet and Katie met while they were in foster care in the same house. Violet and Hunter meet when Hunter arrives late to pick up his three-year-old son, Eli from Katie’s daycare. Violet was upset with Hunter and lets him know. Hunter and Violet begin spending time together and things heat up between the two of them. Violet and Hunter both share their insecurities with one another. Eventually, Violet decides that they are too different and returns home to Nashville after Katie and Brian’s baby is born and Brian returns from deployment. With Dean’s help, Hunter realizes that he has to do something big to win Violet back especially since she has a home in Nashville. I loved the story and am so glad that both Violet and Hunter got their happily ever after. My favorite part in the book is the epilogue and how it wraps up all the details of the happily ever after. Samantha Chase has once again shown that she is an amazing story teller. Can’t Help Falling in Love contains all the things I have loved most in the series, romance, great characters and setting, bittersweet moments and the plot twist that ties it all together. Amazing story. Could not put it down.

Hunter and Violet’s meet-cute could not have been worse, yet that is how we are introduced to them in Can’t Help Falling in Love, book five in Samantha Chase’s Magnolia Sound series. This tale of single parenting, connection, and off the charts chemistry brings Hunter and Violet together on an emotional journey as they battle their attraction without either one bending to the demands of the other. Hunter will do whatever it takes to give his son the best life possible. When the mother of his son decides she can no longer be a mother, she not only leaves town but causes a missed daycare pickup. When Hunter arrives at the daycare, a stranger accuses him of being a bad parent. He might have no reason to prove himself to this opinionate, sassy stranger, but he finds himself trying to do so. Violet grew up in the foster system and has no tolerance for poor parenting; at least she realizes she overreacted. Violet is in town temporarily; helping pregnant her best friend whose husband is deployed. Violet is attracted to Hunter but she’s not sure it’s smart to date him since she is constantly traveling for work; but spending time with him is way too tempting for her to refuse him. Hunter is not interested in traveling which mystifies Violet, since she loves to go to new places. Wanting completely different things in life it is surprising how much Hunter and Violet want each other. Hunter and Violet need to find a compromise of their beliefs, dreams, and hopes before they can have their happily ever after.

Ms. Chase wrote a wonderful, heartwarming and emotional story that is not to be missed. She provided a tale rich with sizzling chemistry, amusing banter, and endearing secondary characters giving Hunter and Violet the love and happiness needed for them to have a forever life together. I highly recommend Can’t Help Falling in Love to other readers and look forward to reading the next book in this series.

Violet never had a family, other than her two friends in foster care, Morgan and Katie. Morgan is gone, but Violet's travel agency and accompanying need to see new places developed out of honoring Morgan's dream to see the world. Vi is putting that on hold for a few weeks to spend time with Katie, who’s eight months pregnant and a military wife.

Hunter Jones has all he needs in Magnolia Sound. He's never traveled beyond his home town and has no desire to do so. His life is full with his family, his friends, and his job as a firefighter. And when his ex-wife moves away suddenly, it looks like he'll have the responsibility of parenting his young son, Eli, alone.

There are a lot of small-town, inviting book worlds I love escaping to, but Magnolia Sound is a place I would move to in a New York minute, were it possible. This talented writer has created a place that is warm and inviting, with just enough quirks, charm and small-town goodness to keep things interesting.

With bits of humor sprinkled throughout and a fairly tame steam level, it’s the heart of this book the really makes it stand out, and OMGee. It ruined me and then filled my heart to bursting, happy sigh and all. Violet and Hunter seem so opposite, but Hunter has the family Violet has always longed for, and they welcome her with open arms. How's a girl supposed to resist that?

Of course, their journey to forever still has its share of dips and road blocks, but these characters will effortlessly enchant you and steal your heart as they find their way to happily ever after. Plan your escape to Magnolia Sound now. Once you visit, you won’t want to leave!

Love, Love, LOVE!!! This wonderful book. Can’t Help Falling In Love is the 5th book in Samantha Chase’s Magnolia Sound series. I have loved every book in this series thus far, and in my opinion, the stories just get better and better. I could not put this book down. The lead characters Hunter Jones and Violet Drake were just made for each other. Both insecure in their own separate ways. I loved all of the characters in this book…. Stop, I am lying. There is one, Melissa, Hunter’s ex. I wanted to punch her into hell for what she did to Eli. Thank God for Violet!! Eli’s plight with his “mother” hit a little bit close to home for me. So, when Violet started getting closer to Eli, I started loving her even more.
Now, as I continue reading this series, I have discovered that I want to move to Magnolia Sound. It sounds like a phenomenal place to live.
I was gifted with a copy of this book for my reading pleasure and for my opinions on the story. I absolutely, unequivocally LOVED this story, and the characters.
Thank you, Ms. Chase for sharing your wonderful talents of story writing with your readers. I always know with out a shadow of a doubt that any book I pick up with your name as the author, I just know it will be a great book.

Being a divorced father is not something Hunter Jones imagined himself being, yet he is living it right now. He loves his son, Eli but something is missing from their life. Living in a small town like Magnolia Sound is okay for them and yet when Violet Drake enters his life he is wondering if there is more to life than just living in the small town. She is a whirlwind of trouble, fun and love all wrapped in a beautiful person. The thing is that after living safe he is unsure what to do with the feelings he has for Violet. His son loves her already but everybody tells him he is crazy for wanting to move fast with Violet. Now have to say Violet is the opposite of Hunter in every way living each day with a thirst of well living. I loved how Samantha Chase shows us that even opposites attract but it takes a lot of work to make it last forever. The attraction they have is explosive and through it all it is Violet who is actually the safe one in the relationship. I love coming to Magnolia Sound seeing this little town blossom with the wonderful characters by Samantha Chase almost makes you wonder if it really exist. All it takes is one look, one taste of passion and love to make you wonder why it is barely happening right now, true love. Loved it.

Wow. Can't Help Falling in Love is a phenomenal book. I loved every aspect of this book. I laughed and cried and had many heartswooning moments. I love all things about Magnolia Sound. From the beautiful beach to the awesome food and to the delicious cupcakes. I love the friendships.

In Can't Help Falling in Love we get Hunter and Violet's story. From the moment they meet you can see the chemistry. I loved the moment they first met. It was awkward yet funny. I love how easy Hunter and Violet felt together. The sweetness of their relationship was pure joy to see evolve. I love Eli and Kira. They are such adorable kids. I adore Katie and Violet's friendship. I love how at ease Violet was with Eli. The secondary characters were so amazing. I couldn't stop reading this story. I was captivated from page one.

Samantha Chase creates magical worlds full of strong love and friendships that are everlasting. Magnolia Sound is the perfect town full of love and ever after. I want to live there. Samantha Chase wrote Can't Help Falling in Love exquisitely. Hunter and Violet are my all time favorite couple. Their struggles were so realistic. Hunter had me feeling his struggle. Violet had my heart with her story. Everything about Can't Help Falling in Love was perfect. Grab your copy and fall in love with Hunter and Violet and Magnolia Sound.

I am so excited to be back in Magnolia Sound. I have always liked Hunter, I mean who doesn’t like a firefighter, but I really felt for him with trying to deal with Melissa for the well being of Eli. His first encounter/meeting with Violet was not the best first impression, but once the misunderstanding was figured out the chemistry was there for these two. This story was really great, and I liked watching Hunter and Violet getting to know each other and dating and trying to make it all work especially with making sure that Eli was a priority. I also have to say that Eli was one of the favorite parts of this book for me. It was so great to watch him coming out of his shell and it’s all due to Violet taking time to play with him and Kira; from the tumbling to rolling to flipping and I fell in love when they would do yoga together. This story was so good, I truly did not want it to end. I also liked learning more about Violet and Katie’s relationship and I liked that Violet is ‘keeping my promise’ to Morgan with the traveling. You can definitely tell that Violet loves her job and I would love for her to plan a vacation for me as well. When Hunter went to Nashville, I knew everything was going to be just fine. Truly loved the ending. I also wonder if we are going to see a romance blossom between Rose and Dominic, I guess time will tell.

Magnolia Sound is a fictional town created by Samantha Chase and it is a place filled with fun characters and loads of love. In this visit, we meet Hunter and Violet—two seemingly mismatched people but, are they really?

Hunter is a firefighter with a stable job and a 3-year old son who he is raising on his own since his wife decided she was not cut out to be a mom. He encounters the wrath of Violet when he arrives late to pick up Eli from daycare (a pickup that was supposed to be made by mom). Violet is a friend of the very pregnant daycare owner who is in town to help with the arrival of the new baby and she is very vocal about his responsibilities as a parent.

Violet is a travel agent who dreams of traveling which goes against Hunter's stay close to home personality. He sees her as a bit flighty and wonders how she thinks she has the right to question his parenting skills. Despite their first impressions, Hunter and Violet begin to realize there is some chemistry zinging between them… but there are hurdles to overcome. They are both emotionally fragile for reasons that are explored in the story (no spoilers here!) and at times, that fragility is a stumbling block.

I enjoyed this book and would recommend it and the others in the series. It is always fun to visit Magnolia Sound, and this book is no exception.

Emotion on top of more emotion! Ms. Chase has a talent for drawing readers in from the first page & keeping them involved until the end. Violet has come to help out her best friend, Katie. Katie is pregnant & is missing the help of her deployed Marine husband. She also has a rambunctious 4 year old & an in home daycare. Violet thinks she has it under control until a parent late picking up his child pushes the wrong button & she flips off on him. Why does his face keep popping into her mind?

Hunter is at the end of his rope. Between his long shifts at work, his crappy ex & her switching parenting days, he’s sleep deprived & doesn’t need somebody that doesn’t know him reading him the riot act. He already feels guilty about the divorce & the help his family has to give without everything Violet heaps on him. Why didn’t he furious with her though? Why can’t he stop thinking about her?

Ms. Chase has written another terrific story! Violet & Katie have survived bad parents & bad childhoods. It makes irresponsible parents a trigger for Violet & she rarely takes time to think things through. Hunter feels guilty himself so someone else pointing out his shortcomings makes him angry & depressed. Violet & Hunter both learn a lot about themselves & each other as they work through this story. Can they find a way to forgive each other & move forward?

This was such a sweet and heartwarming story. I really enjoyed the emotional depth and chemistry between Violet and Hunter. The contrast between her guarded, independent nature and his caring, steady presence made for a great dynamic. I especially loved how Samantha Chase wove in themes of family, trust, and healing—Hunter’s role as a single dad and Violet’s past in the foster system added meaningful layers to their relationship.

The small-town setting and supporting characters gave the story that comforting, cozy feel that Chase does so well. It’s the kind of book you can curl up with and just get lost in for a while. I also appreciated that while it’s part of a series, it reads perfectly fine as a standalone—you don’t need to have read the earlier books to connect with the story.

That said, some of the plot points were a bit predictable, and a few moments felt slightly forced, especially when characters acted in ways that didn’t fully fit their personalities. Violet’s hesitation sometimes dragged on longer than it needed to, but it fit with her backstory.

Overall, Can’t Help Falling in Love was a heartfelt, uplifting romance about second chances and learning to trust again. It’s light, genuine, and exactly what I expect from Samantha Chase—a feel-good read that leaves you smiling.

Wow! What a story... and I Can’t Help Falling in Love with this book ! One of my favorite authors, Samantha Chase, has written another great entry in the Magnolia sound series ... but a standalone if this would be your first book.

This is a sweet, heartfelt tale with witty dialogue and scenes that sizzle. Our main characters Hunter and Violet wormed their way into my heart! He’s a single dad with a 3 year old son who is cared for by Violet’s best friend Katie. Violet is in town to help Katie as her pregnancy is nearing the end and her deployed husband is away.

Both Hunter and Violet can’t stay away from each other, despite the fact that both are looking at the romance as a short term flight ... but it’s quickly apparent that it’s more than that and the two of them Can’t Help Falling in Love!!!

If you’re looking for a great story with terrific characters, this book is for you. If you’re familiar with the Magnolia Sound series, there is a plus for you as the book is chock full of familiar characters ... and the set up for Kyle is something to look forward to.

Download now and settle in for an enjoyable read ... and cancel your plans so you can spend your time in Magnolia Sound.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

Samantha Chase took us back to Magnolia Sound with this wonderful escape of a story!
In Can't Help Falling In Love, we meet Violet, in town to help her lifelong, currently pregnant friend, who owns a daycare center. Enter Single Dad Hunter, who sends his son to Katie's Daycare.

Though Hunter and Violet got off to a rocky start, due more to misunderstanding than lack of chemistry, they soon realize they were destined to meet. Both Hunter and Violet have fragile life experiences that shaped the people they became. This overshadowed the obvious chemistry at first, but as they started spending time together and getting to know one another they realized they had more in common than they thought...both good and challenging emotions and situations steered them toward each other.

Once Hunter and Violet realized they wanted to spend more time together, the embarked on a sparkly, steamy, romantic relationship, that was fulfulling for them and the reader! All the side characters and the beautiful back drop of Magnolia Sound make this another stellar story!

Spend some summer reading time in Magnolia Sound! You, Hunter and Violet will be glad you did!

Another amazing book in this wonderful series by Samantha Chase! I mean the swoon was real for me in this one with Hunter. I am not sure if it was how hard he loves his little boy Eli, how much he cares about others like Katie, or how quickly he falls for Violet, but I sure fell hard for him!! In fact, I couldn't help falling in love with Hunter. Sigh.
I also love Violet! She is so different from Hunter in the way she lives her life but at the same time she is exactly what he needs in his life. And she is so amazing with Eli. She has some definite emotional scarring from the way she grew up that makes relationships very hard for her. For a bit I wasn't sure if they could get over the major differences between them or if Hunter could make her see what was right in front of them so they could make it work long term. I honestly loved all the facets of both Hunter and Violet and loved their story so much! And that epilogue, oh my, I was over the moon emotional and my heart was so full of joy!! It's truly the perfect HEA for them!!!

Oh, I'm just c̶r̶y̶i̶n̶g̶ wiping the water coming from eyes. So much dust nowadays.
This book is like a hallmark movie; sweet, sensitive and full of love.

The first time Violet meets Hunter she accuses him of being a neglectful parent, but after learning about his past her opinion changes. Hunter and Violet find themselves in a relationship which cannot be exactly described, kind of like friendship with a lot of compatibility turning into love but short termed? Violet brings out the best of Eli (Hunter's son) and is good for Hunter but her insecurity keeps her doubtful of the relationship she's forming with Hunter. They both try to keep their relationship perfect but are maybe stopping something great from happening because of their cautiousness.

The story not only gives us the realistic and practical view but also gives us the sweet, charming and loving feeling too.
I am so looking forward for Kyle's book!
(The glimpse has got me excited)
