TWO HEARTS UNSPOKEN TARGETS (Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance Book 11) by Tamara Ferguson is another wonderful story by this talented author. Tamara’s stories always grab me right in the heart and sweep me away especially for the things that soldiers must face after coming home from war. Tamara is a storyteller that brings a story to life. It is a quick read but a good read. Elizabeth embarks on a new life and adventure to Wisconsin for the betterment of her son.
Zach is a retired air force captain who now resides in Crystal Rock and trying to come to terms with his injuries. Can Zach learn to love himself again and move forward to allow someone to love him? Could someone like Elizabeth ever like someone like him? Is Kyle’s disability too much for Zach to handle? Will Zach finally find the life he has been searching for?
Two Hearts Unspoken Targets is the eleventh book in the Two Hearts Wounded Warrior series. It can be read as a standalone.
The overall story has promise, and I really wanted to love this book. Unfortunately, the Kyle character is written in a way that personifies the stereotypical perception of Autism by the neurotypical community. As a person with Autism myself – and a person who has two children on the Autism spectrum, I appreciated the author’s willingness to include an Autistic character. The issue that I have on the whole is that almost every book I’ve read with an Autistic character ONLY includes a character with the severe side of things and with the attributes that most people think Autistic individuals display based on stereotypes, this book included. Perpetuating these stereotypes reinforces the stigma that Autistic people face every day while trying to interact in the world. When I read the blurb for this book I was hoping for a different portrayal. A person can be Autistic with challenges that require more assistance without being violent or having a mental impairment. I would have loved to see other challenges addressed instead.
And on a side note, I really wasn’t pleased that Beth called Kyle a dope at one point. I felt like that was demeaning and unnecessary. Many Autistic people struggle with self-esteem issues because they feel different. Using that kind of language can be hurtful.
It was a tough decision between three and four stars, but I’m giving a rating of four stars on this because, even though I was unhappy with the way the Autistic character was portrayed, the overall premise of the story was good.
Two Hearts Unspoken Targets is the eleventh book in the Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance Series (and the extended version of the Two Hearts Unspoken Story). It is a suspenseful, heart-warming wounded warrior contemporary romance. Elizabeth Owen (Beth) is a single mother of severely autistic son, Kyle. She’s been working as an accountant in a plant, which will be shutting down, due to the economy. So, when Kyle is offered a highly desired placement in a vocational facility in Wisconsin, she readily accepts, and they set off for a new beginning in Crystal Rock. As she and Kyle are driving into their new home town, they are startled when they narrowly avoid hitting a dog that runs across the road. They head to the beach at Dragonfly Pointe, where they get out to go for a walk. Being here brought back happy memories of childhood, for Beth. Zach has recently moved to town to take on a position as the new Administrator for the Wounded Warrior facility. He is also quite taken with Beth when they meet, the Sparks fly and their attraction is undeniable. Zach’s injuries sustained whist in service have left him physically and emotionally scarred, and make him very self-conscious and unsure of himself. He doesn’t think anyone could look at his scars and not be repulsed. The two share an unforgettable kiss, but afterwards Zach seems avoid Beth and is holding back. Beth can’t figure him out. What could he possibly be hiding? Would they get the chance to create something truly magical between them? Add in the suspense and danger from the past, which threatens not only Zach, but Beth and Kyle too- and the story gets quite gripping and suspenseful. I was totally invested in the characters and their story, unable to put the book don until I knew how everything played out. I found this story is really very touching and emotionally charged too. The story is really well written and the characters are fully developed, with a realism that only comes from the pen of a masterful author. Ms. Ferguson gave me a glimpse into the toll that war, injury, and PTSD can have on a soldier- and some of the sacrifices they make in service to their country. She also shone a light on living with autism and how that affects the person, and their loved ones. This wonderful story is all about acceptance and overcoming adversity- with just the right amount of danger, chemistry, and intrigue. Superb!
“Two Hearts Unspoken Targets” is a wonderful addition to the Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance series created by Tamara Ferguson. It begins with a squadron preparing to leave Iraq. Trouble turns up at the last minute and Lieutenant Zachary Logan’s plane bursts into flame. Rushed to a hospital in Germany, Zach experiences a recurring nightmare from his childhood and another dream about a covert mission in Afghanistan where he was the only one to survive.
After being sent back to the U.S. to undergo multiple surgeries, Zach is released and goes to his family’s home. The huge mansion in New Orleans is being remodeled by his cousin to recapture its grandeur. Odd noises at night revive Zach’s nightmares. Other strange occurrences happen at the house and he discovers the history of criminal activity in the neighborhood that took place when he was a boy. As he prepares to depart for a job in Wisconsin, he has a dangerously close encounter with a monster truck.
Meanwhile, Elizabeth Bowen (Beth) lost her job due to a plant closure and is moving to Wisconsin with her autistic son, Kyle, so that he can attend a vocational facility for the mentally and physically impaired.
Kyle playfully tackles a stranger on the beach, Zach, who had been jogging with his dog, Emily. Zach’s and Beth’s meeting sparks an immediate connection. Zach works at the vocational facility and becomes Kyle’s teacher. Beth’s heart warms watching how patient and kind Zach is with Kyle.
As the chemistry between Beth and Zach grows, Zach fears that Beth will reject him when she sees his scarred body. As he fights his conflicting emotions, a dangerous predator from Zach’s past arrives in Crystal Rock. This villain’s deadly secret threatens not only Zach, but also the safety of Beth and Kyle. Can Zach discover the culprit’s identity before it’s too late?
I discovered Tamara Ferguson’s work when both of us were invited to take part in Do No Harm, a boxed set. Since then I became a great fan of his writing, and I’ve read numerous of her books in this heartwarming series. This book, like all of them, is well-developed and inspiring. The author is skilled at bringing the characters to life and showing how they’ve managed to overcome struggles they’ve had to face. I highly recommend this touching story.
TWO HEARTS UNSPOKEN TARGETS (Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance Book 11)by Tamara Ferguson
5 out of 5 stars Two hearts unspoken targets is the eleventh book in the two hearts wounded warrior series written by Ms. Ferguson. I have read quite a few of the Two hearts wounded warrior series and I just love them. Each book has its own unique storyline with great couples and the suspense is awesome. The story begins in Iraq when a squadron preparing to leave for a mission. Lieutenant Zachary Logan’s plane bursts into flame. Rushed to a hospital in Germany, Zach experiences a recurring nightmare from his childhood and another dream about a covert mission in Afghanistan where he was the only one to survive. Strange occurrences happen at the house and he discovers the history of criminal activity in the neighborhood that took place when he was a boy. After a few close calls Zack prepares to leave for Wisconsin to take on a position as the new Administrator for the Wounded Warrior facility. Beth is a single mother of severely autistic son; Kyle and her life is incredibly challenging. She has been working as an accountant in a plant, which will be closing, due to the economy. So, when Kyle is offered a highly desired placement in a vocational facility in Wisconsin, she readily accepts, and they set off for a new beginning in Crystal Rock. Two Hearts Unspoken Targets (Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance Book 11) by Tamara Ferguson is the extended version of the original Two Hearts Unspoken that I read three years ago. It was one of the first books by the writer and was one of the reasons why I fell in love with everything that Tamara writes so I was more than happy to pick up this extended version! You could read all her books as standalones but I warmly insist that you give yourself a go ahead to read them in order as you will meet certain people prior ‘their’ books and there are different back stories and, I promise, you will not regret it a bit! I remember originally thinking that the story was way too short so I was delighted to revisit with Elizabeth (Beth) and Zach and Kyle. It was such a heart warming story of two people who for the longest time have thought that they will never find someone right for them. Add to it war wounds and a divorce and an autistic child and … you get the picture! It is an insta love story and let’s be honest, even though we say we do not believe in love at first sight, deep down we keep our fingers crossed and hope that it is possible. I think it feels real in this story and throughout the story I found myself rooting for Zach and Beth. This story is actually much more than just a simple romance, it touches upon important issues that many people struggle with and that many of us do not have a lot of experience with so I am grateful to the writer bringing the world of wounded vets and the lives of autistic children and their parents closer to us! I have to say now after having read every single one of her Crystal Rock and Wounded Warrior stories that her stories are emotional but at no point do we feel pity for them as they are survivors and an example of how to get back to living to every one of us!
TWO HEARTS UNSPOKEN TARGETS (Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance Book 11) By Tamara Ferguson 5 out of 5 stars
I loved reading the book TWO HEARTS UNSPOKEN TARGETS (Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance Book 11) by Tamara Ferguson. It is a story that includes romance, suspense, and mystery. It pulled me in, and I was hooked from the beginning. I love the characters of Captain Zach Logan and Elizabeth Bowen. Zach is searching for the next part of his life outside of the air force. He finds himself in Crystal Rock and accepts a position there at the wounded warrior facility. Then he meets Beth. Elizabeth is a woman who after losing her job gets an opportunity to relocate to Crystal Rock so that her son Kyle can go to a vocational facility. Her life is challenging as her son is severely autistic. Then she meets Zach. When they meet there is an attraction to each other that keeps growing. Zach has flashbacks of a murder. Will he be able to keep Beth and Kyle safe when the killer targets all three of them? What does the future hold for Zach, Beth, and Kyle? Read this book to find out. I grew to love the characters of Zach, Beth, and Kyle with each chapter that I read. I couldn’t help but want them to be happy. I like that Beth is a strong, intelligent, and independent woman. This story had me turning pages at times wondering what was going to happen next and then slowing down to take in the romance that is between Beth and Zach. This is an author who knows how to weave a story that I don’t want to put down until the ending page. Don’t miss out on an entertaining and romantic tale. I highly recommend reading it.
Another wonderfully heartwarming story by author Tamara Ferguson. When wounded Air Force Captain Zach Logan and single Mum Elizabeth Bowen meet at the beach at Dragonfly Pointe, their mutual attraction is instantaneous. However Elizabeth, Beth is a Mum to a severely autistic son, Kyle and Zach is battling PTSD making any new relationship complicated. Beth had been a full time accountant but the place she worked at was closing down and as Kyle’s father was long gone out of his special needs sons life, when the opportunity to enrol Kyle in a vocational facility in Wisconsin came up Beth was happy to except it. Meanwhile wounded warrior Zack was searching for a new life for himself having retired and at his friend Luke Bryant’s (from ‘TWO HEARTS SURRENDERED’) invitation he ends up in the the town of Crystal Rock. He accepts a position of administrator at the recently built wounded warrior facility. When Luke meets Beth he can’t deny their chemistry and is ready for a new start and Beth can not believe how excepting Luke is of her sons autism. However Zach is still experiences flashbacks of a gruesome murder and soon both himself, Beth and Kyle are all targeted by the killer. As usual Ferguson took me on an emotional rollercoaster whilst reading this wonderfully written romance story. I loved the main characters, Beth and Zach, the chemistry between them sizzled off the page when they met and I liked how their relationship developed throughout the story. I was cheering them both on to their happy ever after.
TWO HEARTS UNSPOKEN TARGETS (Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance Book 11) by Tamara Ferguson was a great 5 star read.
I was once again pulled in by the authors writing and I didn’t want to put it down. Having military in the family I always enjoy reading the stories that these warriors face and I’m from Wisconsin so it’s an added bonus that the story is in Wisconsin.
Beth is a single mom with an autistic son, she recently lost her job due to a closure. When he’s offered placement into a vocational facility Beth accepts and makes plans to have a new beginning for both her and her son. Something about Dragonfly Pointe reminds Beth of her childhood.
Zach has recently taken a position at the wounded warrior facility. He is struggling with his injuries and is also having some emotional issues. He doesn’t feel like he is worthy of love because of his scars (which broke my heart).
Beth and her son Kyle end up meeting Zach on the beach. And it turns out that Zach ends up being Kyle's teacher at the facility. I loved how great Zach was with Kyle, so sweet. The more time that Beth and Zach spend time with each other the chemistry grows.
Can these two have a HEA or will something from Zach’s past ruin it all?
Overall I really enjoyed this book. This was a great story with great characters. I look forward to reading more from this series and the author. If you're looking for a great romance with suspense and so much more 1-click and get started today.
Two Hearts Unspoken Targets is the 11th book in the Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance Series. Each book is written as a standalone. I have now read several of the books in this series and the more I read, the more I grow to love this series and Tamara Ferguson’s writing. This series is set around the wounded warrior training camp where those wounded on the military come to train and get back to fitness. I love that the author has heroes and heroines who are disfigured, amputees and have other debilitating conditions due to their life of service. I love that she shows how these people suffer from so much self doubt about their ability to be loved and writes the most beautiful heart wrenching Happily ever afters for them. This book is not different in that it contains Zach Logan who has horrific scarring after being in a plane which had burst into flames. At the wounded warrior camp he meets Beth whose 20 year old son Kyle is autistic and will be working with Zach. Beth and Zach’s story is beautiful. Zach is worried about how any woman could possible look at his scarred body and Beth is too busy looking after Kyle to consider a relationship for herself. I loved these characters and love to see how Tamara Ferguson creates an amazing storyline to bring them to life. I was hooked from the very beginning of this book and did not want to put it down.
I have always loved Tamara Ferguson, since the first book I read of hers. The Two Hearts Wounded Warrior series is wonderful, and you should binge read them all. Two Hearts Unspoken Targets I liked because it was more than just the romantic story unfolding. We spend the first third of the book just getting to know Zach, as he spend time with his cousin in a house of his youth. Then he moves to the famous Crystal Rock, central location for all Two Hearts books. It is here that Zach meets Beth, and they both feel an instant attraction, however, they fight it for months. Both have their own stuff going on, and want to shield the other from it. But in a small town, that's next to impossible. Zach begins working with Beth's son daily, and they have mutual friends who bring them together over and over. There is some intense topics, like most of her books, but it does give us the happily ever after. I love these books because the chemistry between the characters is always wonderful. There is a good balance of romance and real life, so its realistic. And finally, the characters overlap from book to book, so we feel like we know the town and its residents. Or maybe that's just me, after reading nearly a dozen of the books. Either way- do yourself a favor, grab any Ferguson book and curl on the couch. You wont want to put it down.
When you feel the world is against you, your stars align and things work out for the best but will love also finds it way.
Two Hearts Unspoken Targets is a true romantic story involving Zach a retired war vet and Beth a single mother who has a young autistic son, will true love find a way for these two great characters. A chance meeting on a beach Kyle, Beth's son runs into Zach as soon as their eyes meet they both know something special can happen.
As the story goes on you find out that Zach becomes Kyle's teacher but as the book unfolds you get to see the insecurities from both Beth and Zach, both not knowing if they deserve happiness.
I have read the majority of the Two Hearts wounded warrior romances and this is my favourite, the characters in this series are flawed but they have the strength and determination to carry on and pursue what they want and need. The characters are always well rounded and written excellently.
The stories are always emotional but you don't feel pity for the characters Tamara writes about, I always feel like I am living the story with them as a friend hoping and praying this work out in the end.
I recommend this book and the series, if you have read this wonderful author you are missing out.
TWO HEARTS UNSPOKEN TARGETS (Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance Book 11) by Tamara Ferguson
5 Stars
*Sigh*
I am pretty convinced that every time I finish a book by this author I have the same response...I want more, OMG that was so awesome, and I need more Tamara Ferguson.
Not even sure how to review her books anymore because I'm out of words to explain how awesome she is. I Love this series and this one touched me a little more because of the circumstances. I have a grandson on the severe end of the spectrum and this story was nothing short of perfection. My heart was completely invested throughout and then add in the suspense and I was a goner. Then as if all of that isnt enough, these books take place in Wisconsin, the place I call home...This book mentioned a lake that I have literally spent a lot of time on as it's just south of my hometown…
I instantly fell in love with Zach, Beth, and Kyle as well as many of the other characters..This was a touching wounded warrior story that just proves that love is more powerful than anyone realizes.
This is an awesome book, part of an awesome series, written by an awesome author..You must give this a one click, you will fall in love and want the rest of the series.
TWO HEARTS UNSPOKEN TARGETS Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance Book 11 By Tamara Ferguson ☆☆☆☆☆ WOW! This is a story of a Wounded Veteran, and a great Suspenseful Romance.
This is Zach and Elizabeth's story. Zach is a wounded warrior returning home. Elizabeth is a single mother with a disabled son. And that is where this story begins. A couple of adults both being tested. Elizabeth is a strong independent woman, who's a mother and is solely responsible for keeping her son safe. Zach is a hero in my eyes. For all he has been through, he still stands strong. A fighter of PTSD as well as recovering from his injuries. Will anybody love him scars and all? Will Elizabeth let down her walls and let Zach in?
I have grown to love the writings from Tamara Ferguson. This is the 11th book in this series. With all being around the injured veterans. This book has amazing characters that will bring out the feels. You will be drawn into this story on page one. Men and Women fight for our freedom so we know this is just a touch of what really goes on. This story was written in part of a series, but can be a standalone. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I have. Job well done Tamara Ferguson!!!
Two Hearts Unspoken Targets is the eleventh book in the Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance series by Tamara Ferguson. Zachary Logan is a retired air force captain after suffering injuries while serving overseas. Zach struggles to find his new norm while spending some time in New Orleans with his cousin. After speaking with his friend Luke Bryant, Zach finds himself in Crystal Rock. Becoming an administrator of a wounded warrior facility really hits home for Zach, as he is a wounded warrior himself, and thinks this may be where he belongs. Elizabeth Bowen finds herself in Wisconsin as well, since this is where the new vocational facility for her autistic son is located. When Beth and Zach meet they are instantly attracted to one another. They seem to be accepting of each other’s situations, Beth’s autistic son Kyle and Zach’s PTSD. Zach will be tested when danger presents itself and he must do everything in his power to protect the ones that he cares about, even from a killer. I really enjoyed reading this story and how open the author is about Zach’s PTSD issues and Kyle’s autism. The relationship between Beth and Zach was very heartwarming and you couldn’t help but feel for Zach as he struggles to keep her safe. I look forward to reading other stories in this series.
5 Star TWO HEARTS UNSPOKEN TARGETS (Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance Book 11) by Tamara Ferguson
Two Hearts Unspoken Targets is the eleventh book the Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance Romance series. I loved this book just as much if not slightly more than the previous ones. Although this can be read as a standalone I do however recommend reading the whole series you won’t regret it I promise. This author has worked her way to the top of my go to favorite authors. This book had my emotions all over the place but this one struck closer to home for me. I have a close family member who had over seventy five percent of his body burned in a accident. He is on his way to full recovery but has been through lots of surgeries, I also have a autistic nephew who struggles with almost everything. So this story was very touching and very real for me. This story we have Zach, Beth and her son Kyle . Zach is looking for a new start after his retirement from the Airforce so he finds his way to Wisconsin . Beth and her son find themselves moving to Wisconsin for an opportunity. When Zach and Beth meet there is definitely attraction between them. What does their future look like? Find out what happens next in this must read. I can’t wait to read more from this Author.
I borrowed Two Hearts Unspoken Targets from the Kindle Unlimited Program.
Air Force Captain Zach Logan, now a retired wounded warrior has nightmares about his military experiences but also a murder when he was a child. It is a mystery to him what when he dreams of a woman being murdered but he can't see her face.
After strange things and threats happening at his family home in Louisiana, he heads to Crystal Rock, Wisconsin and becomes part of both the Wounded Warrior rehab project and working with special needs children at the home next door.
Elizabeth Bowen and her special needs son Kyle come to Crystal Rock for the special needs program for Kyle and she has cousins that help her find a beautiful home and give her an accounting job that allows her to have the time she needs to take care of Kyle.
Kyle and Beth meet on her first day in Crystal Rock, the attraction is strong and romance follows with an element of danger when strange things keep happening around Zack and those he holds dear. In the end the mystery is solved, Zack accepts his scars from his disability and Kyle with Emily, Zach's dog add lots of humor to the storyline. Great book with a surprise ending.
I happen to have a weak spot in my heart for Tamara Ferguson’s Two Hearts Wounded Warrior romance novels. Anytime I see a new one is available that allows me to take a small reprieve to the small beautiful town of Crystal Rock, I often one-click without thinking twice and find myself lost in the novel fairly fast. Two Hearts Unspoken Targets is no exception to the rule. This was a one-click that I was reading well into the evening to find out how things would turn out for Zach and Elizabeth.
Both of these main characters really stole my heart. Tamara writes her characters with such conviction I often feel as if I am reading more of a true story or watching things as they unfold right before my eyes. I loved these two and the push and pull between them was effortless to read and enjoy and just flow along with. Elizabeth is looking for a new life and doesn’t even begin to know what she will find when she relocated her and her son. Zach is in Crystal Rock trying to find a new way of life with his injuries he sustained as an air force captain. These two are really a great match and it was fun to watch them find the way to each other’s hearts. I can’t wait for more!
Two Hearts Unspoken Targets by Tamara Ferguson is book eleven of the Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance series.
Like the other books in the series, this book introduces us to a wounded warrior, in this case Zach, who needs to restart their life away from the military, come to terms with the changes and hopefully one day find love. Zach needs to make some changes and the only way he can think of doing that is by accepting a job at the wounded warrior facility and moving. Beth is a single mom and has more than enough on her plate trying to provide for her autistic son. An opportunity comes up for Beth’s son and given her current situation, she sees no reason not to accept. Beth and Zach meet at the beach and boy if the sparks don’t fly right away. Zach is so patient with Kyle that Beth can’t help the attraction she feels. It’s not too long before Zach’s flashbacks might bring trouble to their door. Will Zach be able to keep his new family safe or will they all be targets?
These books can be read in any order. I highly recommend this series. Watching the characters overcome challenges they thought would hold them back is one of the best parts about reading these books!
TWO HEARTS UNSPOKEN TARGETS By Tamara Ferguson 5 stars
So you would think after 11 books in this series I would be getting fed up but I am not – not one bit! I absolutely LOVE this series, the authors beautiful writing is a huge part of that. I just adore the characters she creates; they are so wonderful to read about. Each story in this series is completely different even though they are based around the same thing. I just loved Elizabeth and Zack! Right from the beginning I just knew that this story would pull at my heartstrings – and it did. For me the author did an amazing job with Kyle’s character (Beth’s son) I think it’s easy for author's to be stereotypical when writing about disabilities or mental health for example but this author never does. Zach’s character was not what I was expecting but I loved him so much and could really feel how he was feeling at times. Yet again Ms Ferguson has written another wonderful story and I 100% recommend it as I do with all of her amazing work!
Two Hearts Unspoken Targets is book 11 in the Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance Collection by Tamara Ferguson. I have already read a couple of books from the series so was very much looking forward to reading this story, and it didn’t disappoint.
The story starts with Zachary Logan who is a wounded Air Force Captain. After his retirement Zach relocates to Crystal Rock and starts a new life and new career. Beth is a single mother to a severely autistic child. She works hard to give her son Kyle the life and help that he needs and deserves. When the plant she has been working at as an accountant announces it will be closing, Beth And Kyle's future looks less stable, and worry sets in. Zach soon meets Beth and Kyle. For both Zach and Beth it is an instant attraction and Zach soon falls for Kyle too. But all is not as it seems as Zach's past comes back to haunt him. Can he protect them? I loved this next instalment. The wonderful storyline and characters makes this an easy read and keeps you turning the pages to find out what happens next.
I thought this book was awesome. I loved it. I have read quite a few books by this author and this is for sure one of my favorites. This book can be read as a standalone but all of the books in this series are worth the read. The author has a way with writing that just pulls you in and leaves you turning page after page until the very end. Our FMC Is a single mother named Beth and she will do anything for her autistic son to have a better life. That includes packing everything up and moving when an opportunity for him comes up in Wisconsin. There they meet the Mysterious Zach who is also new to the state. He gets along smashingly with her son but he seems to have a secret side to him that only leaves her with more questions than answers. What will happen with these two? Will the come together in a fiery passion or will they die out with the embers? I enjoyed this story from beginning to end an i am looking forward to more by this author! I would recommend this to anyone that loves a good well written story by an awesome author!! Happy Reading!
I loved this book. This is not my first book by this author but it is one of my favorites. This book can be read as a stand alone but I highly suggest reading the books in this series as they are all great stories. This is a well developed story that has characters I had no problems connecting with. Beth is a single mother of an autistic son who is losing her job. When the opportunity for her son comes up she makes the move to Wisconsin. Zach is a retired air captain and is wanting a new start in life. When he gets the opportunity to move to Wisconsin he takes it. What will happen when these two meet? He seems to accept Beth’s son but does he have a secret identity? Who is he? What will fate have in store for these two. I loved watching their relationship grow and their chemistry is great. I found myself hoping they would get their HEA at the end but you will have to read their story to find out. I highly recommend this book and this author.
TWO HEARTS UNSPOKEN TARGETS (Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance Book 11) by Tamara Ferguson
Like all of the stories I have read by Ms. Ferguson this is a sweet, heartfelt love story. There is also a mystery about Zach's past.
The love between Elizabeth and her son Kyle is just so tender as is the love between Elizabeth and Zach. Don't even get me started with the relationship between Zach and Kyle.
I was a single Mom at one point and always made sure to put my daughter first and any guy I dated knew that. Elizabeth was the same way, her son came first no matter what, though her circumstances are very different from what mine were.
I loved Zach's family and hope we see his cousin again soon. Think he would be a good addition to the group.
I devoured this book and was disappointed when I finished it. I love how we get a chance to see previous couples and see how their lives are going. Looking forward to read the next in this series.
TWO HEARTS UNSPOKEN TARGETS (Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance Book 11) by Tamara Ferguson. This author proves time and again that being an author is exactly what she should be doing for a career. Once again I’m blown away with this wonderful story. This story can easily be read as a stand-alone but I do highly recommend all of this series because they are each wonderful for many reasons. The characters in this story truly draw readers in and they were very easy to feel a connection with and to imagine throughout the story. The author just paints many pictures with her words and each page is better than the last. The storyline pulled at all my emotions in all the right ways. It’s a well written story that’s paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking. I can’t wait for more from this amazing author! Five stars all the way and highly recommended!
Two Hearts Unspoken Targets by Tamara Ferguson is the 11th book in the Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance series. This is another fantastic addition to an already great series. As with the previous books in this series the author really knows how to take you in a journey. You are right there with the characters through all of it, experiencing exactly what they are. You really do become so connected with the characters. The story had everything I have come to expect from a Tamara Ferguson story - action, suspense, romance. It was yet another book by her that once I had started I had to finished it all in one sitting. This whole series is fantastic and I would definitely recommend anyone read them.
Two Hearts Unspoken Targets by Tamara Ferguson a four-star read that will your heart. This is number eleven in the Two Hearts Wounded Warrior series, but they can all be read as stand-alone, this is a great story all about new starts and taking chances. Beth just blew me away, her love and strength for her son is compelling, but she is only half the story and the other half comes in the form of Zach who will blow you away, he has his insecurities but sometimes they can be turned into strengths when given the right mix of reasons. This has a lot of different aspects to the story, job loss, special education, injured soldiers, mysteries running amok, and sparks so big they set the page aflame. This is a story that will capture your heart and keep you hooked till the last page.
I enjoy reading this author. I always know that the story will have loving characters, a bit of danger mixed with a sweet romance and a story that is smooth and easy to read and enjoy. This one hits all those marks. I got to meet some new characters as well as say hello to a few older ones.
Zach is a great character. He was easy to identify with and he seems so kind it was great reading about he came by his injuries. Elizabeth is a strong female. She kept pushing forward despite her past and being a single mother. Kyle..I loved reading about him. I wish he would have had an “episode” because I was curious how Zach would have reacted. His exuberance was fun to read and envision.
Overall it is enjoyable and I look forward to the next.
