Choosing Us - I cannot even put into words how good this book was. 5 Stars are not enough!! M. Robinson once again creates a world that her readers want to be part of. The characters are so well developed that they feel like real people. The storyline had me on the edge of my seat from the dedication page. With each chapter you become so involved in the story you do not want to see it end. A true masterpiece. Once again M. Robinson writes a book that will stay with the readers long after they get to the last page. Definitely a top read.

Choosing You - I finished the story in one sitting and I have no words. My thoughts will not do this justice. Yes - it is that good. Just when you think you can see where the story is going - BAM - the Queen of Angst knocks you on your ass and takes you on a wild ride. A beautifully written story filled with high emotions, fabulous characters and an honest heart wrenching plot that sucked us all in with Book 1 and slayed us with Book 2. M. Robinson continues with her utter perfection of true live and family drama. 5 stars are not enough. This Duet will be another of M's books that will be read and re-read again and again.

The Queen Of Angst has done it again!! Dr. Aiden Pierce, god even his name is HOT!!! Dr. Pierce is the Chief Of Surgery at Docher memorial Hospital and on the side has been helping Creed and his MC for a while now as their unofficial doctor. This is the story of his life..falling for his childhood sweetheart,Bailey Ashton Pierce..losing her. As always M.Robinson gives a great backstory to her fabulous characters so we start with young Aiden & Bailey leading up to all the events that bring him to be the Man he is today. We also meet Camila. She becomes the new nanny for Aiden’s three children Journey,Jackson & Jagger. I don’t want to say to much and spoil this book but it is not what you are expecting and I need book two of this duet NOW!!!!
“Every tear...Every heartache...Every disappointment and accomplishment...
That brought us together in the end.”
I also loved all the side characters! Dante is a hoot and I can’t wait for Jackson’s book. He is quite the teenager lol! This is told in dual POV from Camila’s present POV and Aiden’s past POV’s. Absolutely brilliant way to write a book that I couldn’t put down and I need to know where this is going!!!!

-Choosing You (5 Stars)
OMG, OMG, It’s here and you will not be disappointed! This is the second and final book in the pierced duet. This begins right where Choosing Us left off. I don’t want to give anything away but all your questions will be answered and everything you want in a romance book is in this amazing journey! I absolutely love these characters and yes we get cameos of our favorite MC boys too! I’m in love with this story!!! Have your tissues ready because Miss M will put you through all the Emotions! Aiden Pierce is Perfection. Be still my heart! Told in dual POV & one of my Top reads of 2019

This is definitely one of the best books of the year, it will shatter you then put you back together. Ms Robinson really is the Queen of Angst, I have not read all her books but this is the second duet this year and both of them totally blew me away with their intensity it is impossible to put them down.

This is the story of a man who is totally devastated by the loss of the wife he has loved since he was seven years old. He is left alone with his three children including a baby but he is so heartbroken that he is not able to truly participate in their lives and instead immerses himself in his career. Nanny Camilla is hired to look after the children but it soon becomes more than a job as she tries her best to help them find more security in their lives, while being angry at their father for shirking his responsibilities. Baby Journey is adorable, middle child Jagger keeps to himself but older child Jackson is so hurt by the loss of his parents that he lashes out and is downright mean.

There is so much more to this story as this family struggles to put their lives back together while Camilla is there to support them all the way. Ms Robinson had me in tears many times as I experienced their pain but it was totally impossible to put this book down until the end as there were many questions that I had to find out the answers to.

So brilliantly done all the way through, it should be on everyone's must read list! The best part is that we got both books together because I don't think that my heart could have have been able to deal with a cliffhanger!

Couldn't continue from the moment Camille came on the scene. I was so excited to read this book from the first couple of chapters with Bailey and Aiden when they met as children, but then I noticed there was no Bailey's POV I said forget it.

M. Robinson is always keeping me on my toes- her storylines are unexpected, the pathways to love always arduous and emotional- but even knowing this, I was unprepared for this duet. It is unexpected, it is angsty and hard in places, but it is fascinating and fresh- a story unlike any I’ve read before.

In the first book, Choosing You, I at first spent a lot of time just trying to get my bearings- trying to understand and wrap my mind and heart around the story that Monica wanted to tell- because what I anticipated from the poetic blurb, the book I thought I was getting myself into was not that at all. I was immediately hit with two complex timelines- two parallel love stories, one in the past, one in the present, bumbling around in the dark just trying to connect the dots- how did we get from point A to point Z?

The key is to go into this story with an open mind and open heart- trust Monica- the pay off will be worth the ache of the journey. Once you let go of your expectations, then you can just experience this riveting journey. It is angsty, our hero is a big fat jerk, but you know it's because he’s hurting, we just don't fully understand. And, we have two women- a wife, Bailey, and a nanny, Camila- both in different timelines, absent from each other’s narratives but connected to Aiden- what is the connection?

The first book is going to feel less romantically fulfilling- that’s why this is a duet. There is not a HEA here, there is a cliffhanger, and I had more questions than answers. And, I was still struggling with Aiden, and struggling to understand just who or what I was even rooting for. That’s the point- that’s what Monica is pushing on, the web she’s weaving- the path to love is messy, and so our narrative gives us that experience. She wants us to question- to grapple, to experience it ourselves.

This is a complicated and emotional first half of a duet- so much angst, so many questions. And that ending- my goodness, rip my heart out. Thank goodness M. Robinson has put BOTH books into one so you aren’t suffering in suspense for too long!

Now onto Choosing Us- Oh my poor little ravaged heart- this story ripped it apart and glued it back together again. What an epic conclusion to this angst, unexpectedly moving, deeply emotional duet. I feel both gutted and rejuvenated all at once- only M. Robinson has the power to punch me so sharply with an emotional avalanche.

I rarely cry in books- but this one had me ugly crying, multiple times as we see the tension of confront living in the past and living in the present- confronting the challenges of loving someone. That is how deeply Monica had me feeling for these characters- how absorbed I was in their hope, their pain, their tensions. What I loved about this duet is that this wasn’t just words I read, someone else’s story I enjoyed- i EXPERIENCED this book. Deep in my soul- down to my center of my beating heart. These characters, their intriguing and complex journey, the bittersweet nature of the love between them, it drew me in and held me captive- I felt every smile, every kiss, every tear, as if they were my own.

Monica’s writing is so accessible- so inviting- this story feels so intimate, the words have their own heartbeat. The way she wove this narrative was so clever- so captivating- we’re both in the thick of it and can never fully understand, because we don’t have all the pieces. But, when we finally get the whole picture- my heart fell out of my chest, breathless turning pages.

What an epic story- and the epilogue is just so delightful- a sweet and charming reward after this emotional rollercoaster. My tears weren’t yet dry before I added happy ones on top.

M. Robinson is the queen of angsty and emotionally turbulent love stories- but it is clear to me that she understands love better than many. Her stories depict how love is not a fairytale- it is complex and complicated, full of contradictions and challenge, winding and jagged path, but that when you find it- find the person that calls to your soul, there is nothing more powerful, more consuming. She always delivers all the epicness of romance but gives us the real, the gritty, the nuanced and raw journey it takes to get there. Grab your Kleenex and some wine- you’ll need it.

Choosing Us

I always question my sanity every time I willingly pick up an M. Robinson book, and seriously I can't, I just can't with this book.

Every word that she writes pierces (wink, wink) your heart through and through. Right from the beginning her words grab you by the throat and doesn't let go. I have been crying, laughing, theorizing and all-out cussing her out because the moment you think you have the story, a bombshell drops that make your head do a 180.

The character's journey gives you hope, their connection makes you believe in soulmates, and their devastation will shatter your heart to pieces. Be warned! Be ready for the angst that you won't see coming.

And now I am sitting here eagerly waiting on pins and needles for part two in hopes of them finding their ever after and for my broken abused heart to be mended again.

Choosing You

We are all on a journey called life, and each one of us gets to live that journey only once. But now I can truly say that if you read an M. Robinson book, she will take you on several journeys of a lifetime.

Hands down this is one of the best books I have read of her and that of this year. Choosing You closes the chapter on the path we started walking on with Choosing Us. This is not a love story, but a journey of souls. The story is poignant, real, raw and gripping with overwhelming emotions that will keep you in its clutches till the end (heck, even after it ends).

This story is everything, it is everlasting and a marvellous creation of this author that will both sadden and gladden your heart when you read the conclusion.

Kudos Ms Robinson, I can not express how much this book has touched my heart and soul, and I pray that everyone takes a chance in reading this story and bask in the brilliance that is their everlasting love.

Pierced Hearts Duet is one that takes you on an emotional ride as Aiden takes a journey through life and love. You heart will be torn, it will shatter and at times it will be grasping for answers. As M Robinson weaves her magic words you are taken on some devastating lows and some epic highs. It is not all tears and heartache but believe me tissues are a must for this read. It is a story that will at times make you laugh and also have you guessing. As you ride the wave of emotions from heart wrenching to heartwarming there will be one thing that you will know from the very start and that is Aiden Pierce is a heart stealer. A book that will impact you in a way that you never saw coming. I have been evasive in my review because this is a story that you need to experience for yourself with no hints and no clues.

From 0%-6% my bestie @che_booklver84 and I were blubbering messes. YES THE FIRST 6% of this duet BREAKS YOUR HEART!

My heart is so broken, but also filled with all the love. It’s such a slippery slope and I’m just gliding down it with the cheesiest smile on my face.

Since I am whole heartily addicted to @authormrobinson now, SOMEONE SEND ME TISSUES. I can’t stop reading and crying and laughing.

Thank you @che_booklver84 for taking a chance and reading this with me. I don’t think I could make it without having someone to talk to during.

I loved Cami’s sense of humor, I thought Dante was absolutely hilarious and was a great side character!

Everything flowed and everything had meaning and purpose and I just can’t get enough ❤️❤️❤️

What could be better than a book by M Robinson? Two of her gorgeous books at once! The Pierced Hearts Duet is more than a book, it is an experience! I found my heart going out to Aiden, Bailey, Camila, Jackson, Jagger, Journey with each chapter! It just didn't stop as the story unfolds, breaking and mending my heart in turns.
This is an outstanding read filled with characters with whom I fell in love and whose company was compelling and deeply welcome. With Aiden and Bailey's history interspersed with Camila's present, I was told a story both haunting, heartfelt and completely unforgettable. 5 stunning beautiful stars for this wonderful duet 💖💖💖💖💖

Choosing Us
Its been two days since I finished this book and I still can't figure out where to start with my review besides... WOW. If I had any recommendations it would be to go into this story with a open mind. Because this book was EVERYTHING, and nothing like I expected it to be. It was a shocking, but a welcomed surprise. The Queen of Angst has definitely struck again with Choosing Us. I could not get enough of this book. I seriously devoured every page in one day. It was like once I started I just could not stop. I was consumed with all the emotion that poured from this book. Every turn of the page brought fourth so many new feels. I would like to say I made it out unscathed, but that would be lying. I most definitely fell victim to the dreaded tears. So have your tissues ready, you'll need them. I love M. choose Aidens story to really pack on the suspense. Every time you thought you had something figured out, she just as quickly snatched the answers away. I ended the book with as many questions as I started it with. But honestly I wouldn't change a thing. All it did was add to the thrill of wanting MORE! I was NOT ready for the story to end.
*5 STARS*
Is well earned for such a fantastic start to a duet. If this was only the beginning I can NOT wait to see the end. I can already see this duet becoming one of my best reads of 2019. I need MORE!!

Choosing You
WOW. THIS. BOOK. WAS. ABSOLUTELY. FABULOUS! I can NOT recommend nor stress enough how much you should read this book... Like NOW! This is hands down my favorite M. Robinson book to date! Every book she writes only gets better than the last. This is hands down her best work to date. I am still reeling and speechless after finishing this story. Once I started reading I could not physically stop. I just had to devour every last angst filled word in a few hours time. This is one of the most raw, and consuming endings to a duet that I have ever had the pleasure of reading. Choosing You was a emotional roller coaster ride I wanted to ride again and again. I have never felt such gripping, heart racing emotion from a book quite like I did with this one. I cried. I laughed. I swooned. With each page I turned I found myself wondering what emotion I was going to be feeling next. This was one of the most bittersweet HEA's EVER. I loved getting glimpses of past characters, while also emersing myself in the new. If I had any complaints its that the story had to end. I WANTED MORE. I could have continued reading Aidens story for the rest of my life and never grown tired of it. It was everything I wanted and SO. MUCH. MORE!
*5 STARS*
Will NEVER and I mean NEVER feel like enough stars for this book. I would give it 100 if I could. If you have not started this duet you are truly missing out. It will break your heart, while slowly putting it back together. This is by far my favorite read of 2019. I can NOT wait for Harley and Jackson's story! My heart could not be more happy this will not be the last we see of Aiden.

Pierced Hearts Duet

This would have to be one of my favourite Duets and books by M Robinson, this is a must read

Choosing Us

I can’t believe this is my first M Robinson book i really can’t to say I’m slow is an i understatement but in this case i was a little bit glad i was slow as the second book for this duet was already out and i am thankful.

This book from the very first page had you guessing about what was happening and where in heck this book was going to take us.

I can’t say too much i think everyone needs to go into this story blind even though we still don’t get all the answers M Robinson certainly has you thinking all the different theory’s. From the prologue to the last page.

I don’t think i have ever felt such intense feelings for the characters from knowing very little and i loved that, i loved how we got Aiden and Baileys past and see how they bonded and how hard they loved each other. I don’t think i have shed tears for a story so early on in a book like this one, Aidens heartbreak was too much.

Then came Camila the nanny who would be the glue to this story but still had no idea where her story would take us
You could feel the hurt from Jackson and Jagger burning up the pages and as much as Jackson gave Camila hell you could tell that they needed her and Journey i loved her little story.

This probably sounds all so vague but i just don’t want to give anything away absolutely loved this story, loved M Robinson’s writing and the way she told a story.

Loved loved loved everything about this and I’m about to do something that i hardly ever do and that’s going straight into the next book. Normally i have a break from a series but not this no straight in there.

Choosing You

Oh my goodness what an emotional roller coaster this duet was.

I loved how this book started from where we left off from Choosing Us, i so surprised it didn’t go the way i thought this story would. So once we got through the first couple of chapters i was just reading so fast because i needed to know what happened.

I also wanted to know why Aiden and Camila had such a special connection and this got me reading even faster i just really wanted to know how all this tied up and i was not disappointed and was actually surprised on the twists and what happened in the past.

Again i am sorry this is vague but i just hope people go into the his blind and really get all that you can out of this duet.

I loved so hard Camila and Jackson relationship as well, when i was crying they would make me laugh out loud with all there pranks and really gave this book the light that it needed.

I loved all the characters in this book, i loved the story, the writing and the mystery that had me guessing loved loved loved it and i still can’t believe this is my only second book of M Robinson and can’t wait to read more and I’m already super excited for Jackson’s book

I LOVE it when authors put their work together so I don't have to wait for the second book for long, and M. Robinson is brilliant at leaving readers on a hell of a cliffy often so YAY for the Pierced Hearts Duet together!

Choosing Us (Book 1)
You would think that I would have learned by now that the brilliant, but diabolically evil M. Robinson never fails to use her Jedi mind tricks to bring me to my knees with her stories by now, and yet, I'm always shocked when she makes me cry like a b*t*h baby. It does seem like she raised her own bar higher with Choosing Us though, and I can't even put my finger on it, since I STILL HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS, kind of like Camila does. What's even crazier is the fact that Ms. Robinson didn't even wait before she just went for the jugular with the damn Prologue, so I was off to a running start with the tears that frankly, I don't appreciate since I don't like to sling snot until at least the middle of the book. But I kept going because I can't look away, and the angst physically gutted me throughout, while bringing me to my knees, and I'm not even sure who the hell to be mad at! Should I be furious with Aiden?! Most likely as he came off like a douche. How about Bailey?! Oh definitely, and yet, who the hell knows because I NEED ANSWERS! All I know is that there are 3 innocents involved with a nanny who needs some answers. Yep, that's all I know as I hang off the side of a cliff by a finger in high winds waiting on the conclusion to the angst fest that tried to kill me because I NEED MORE NOW! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

Choosing You (Book 2)
I wasn't sure that this conclusion could be more emotional than the first book, and yet, it totally was so I was reading it with my heart in my throat the whole time. Aiden was messed up badly (not that I could blame him since extreme grief can cause all kinds of bad situations), and he took it out on everyone around him, including his kids, friends, and definitely the nanny, Cami. I don't want to get into many details so I don't give important stuff away, so this will be short & sweet. There were some hilarious moments that had me laughing giving me a break from the gloom & doom of my extreme emotions so there is that. There was also a big twist that I never saw coming, and I was so shocked I couldn't even drop an f-bomb. You can't go wrong with M. Robinson''s stories, so hit those one click buttons to read the Pierced Hearts Duet together! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I loved having this story all in one book. I did read these books individually, but it was nice to have them all together. You all know my love for M. Robinson...as well as my love for Aiden. There is a special snippet in this book as well...yep...that's a teaser!

I will say, for me, I think Aiden may be my all-time favorite hero. This man...I didn't know I could love a fictional character as much as I love him. This man literally made Bailey's every dream come true. But now Bailey is gone and life is too hard for Aiden without his Beauty.

Book one broke my heart. It brought me to tears. It made my heart hurt for everyone in this book. I loved falling in love with Aiden and his story. I loved the build-up in this book. I love the anticipation of what's to come. I loved the angst and the need to know what's going to happen.

I loved every breathtaking moment of this duet. M's words alone were able to make me feel things that I haven't ever felt from a book. I might have ugly cried with this story. Which if you know me, it takes a lot for a story to make me cry. This book ripped my heart to shreds but then Aiden stitched it all back together (See what I did there? If you've read this story you understand). This book was heart, it was soul, it was more than I was prepared for. It made me look at love differently while making me think about how love grows stronger every day.

I have to say, I wasn't expecting this story, this book, this duet to affect me as much as it did. I found myself laughing at things while crying at the same time. I found my love for fictional characters to be beyond anything I could control. I found myself being mad at M while loving her all at the same time. I could not put this story down. I loved Aiden. I loved Cami. Most of all, I loved Bailey. How could you read this amazing book and not love Bailey? While Aiden and Cami will always have my heart, Bailey stole the show for me.

If you take nothing else away from my review, please take this, this story was something that dreams are made of. It's something that only an amazing writer could put together. I love M. and I love her for writing a story that made me feel so much!

Please read this amazing story. You have been warned...you will fall for Aiden and his story. You will crave more. M. Robinson has this amazing superpower of writing and I'm pretty sure with each book that power grows more and more.

ALL THE STARS ⭐️

M.Robinson brought us all the way back to her contemporary romance vibes and angst filled stories with Choosing Us. It is the first book in the Pierced Duet and all I can honestly say is WOWWWWWW! From the very first page my heart was beating out of my chest and I knew that it was going to be one helluva ride! Choosing Us takes you on Aiden and Bailey’s incredible journey flipping between the past and the now seamlessly. I won’t get into any details because I feel you need to experience it all firsthand. I will say this-Aiden is an amazing character. He is fiercely protective, loyal, and will do whatever it takes to keep his promises. I literally felt every single one of his emotions as I was reading. Aiden and Bailey have been put through the wringer and I am soooooo excited to get the conclusion to their story. M.Robinson is an extremely gifted writer and it is clearly evident in Choosing Us. You guys, this is one story you do not want to miss!

There really are no words to express the emotions I’m feeling after finishing this book. Choosing You is hands down one of the best books I’ve ever read.

It has taken me DAYS to be able to sit down and gather my thoughts on this book. Before I get into my review, if you haven’t read Choosing Us yet, STOP and go read it. Choosing You is the second book in the Pierced Hearts Duet and cannot be read as a stand-alone.

Usually when people say a book has all the feels, I know it’s most likely going to put my feelings through the wringer. But man, I was not expecting the amount of tears I cried while reading Choosing You. This story touched my heart in so many ways. It was so raw and honestly so beautiful. It wasn’t what I was expecting whatsoever.

I was fully connected to the characters. I was rooting for them and praying they would get their happy ever after. The scenes flowed and it felt like I was watching a movie in my head. I never thought Ms. Robinson would be able to top my Good Ol’ Boys but she did. I highly recommend reading this book!

Omg...Pierced Hearts' duet by M. Robinson was just FABULOUS. Seriously!!...omg😲

My emotions are all over the place. It was a very unexpected, but I loved everything about it. It had me hooked and not wanting to let go this book.

“I’m trying, Bay. I don’t know what else I can do . Please don’t give up on me. On us.”

In this book we see A broken family, empty man and child that was alone then came nanny named Camila who brought sunshine into their lives. She was the one responsible for turning my house back into a home. A home that was slowly coming back to life.

I loved everything about this book!! This was perfection at its very best!! even though it was heartbreaking and unexpected we did get a magical fairy tale ending which made my heart full.

"How long until it exploded? Burning us both alive. I shoved away the thought. She’s here for your kids, Aiden. For. Your. Kids."

There is so many different layers to the story that i do recommend telling everyone to leave you the fuck alone so you can concentrate, and make sure that you go in with an open mind. And I say this because you may think you know how this story is going to play out .I know that was me for the entire time I was reading. Then when I got to the end I found myself having more questions for myself if what I think is still to come and what really just happened is right, or is Robinson playing evil as shit mind tricks.

"She’s my kids’ nanny... It was as simple as that. Then why do I keep envisioning a future..."

I was pulled in from the first page, and I easily fell in love with a little man and his kind heart. Ending up in foster care, the hero makes friends with the heroine. They become inseparable. He protects her. She adores him. He changes their lives and becomes a doctor. They have a house a full of love and children. Then everything is ripped away from him. When his wife, his best friend and lover, is no longer there to share the life they built together, he spirals into a dark abyss. He essentially leaves his children without parents. He watches them on video feeds from the hospital he works and lives in. Everything he'd held onto after the death of his mother, gone. He truly didn't know how to function without his wife. It reminds me of the song by Ben Folds. The Luckiest. They were one of those couples. They were equal, holding each other up. Tilted into a perfect pyramid. But one side falls, and the pyramid crumbles. I felt sorry, disappointed, angry, sad. I wanted him to be there for his children. I also felt his pain. I was 100 percent invested. Then comes the nanny a family friend brings in. She brings light. Not in the way that miraculously heals everything. No. Not that easy. But she Breathes light into a broken household. Her fights and pranks with the oldest son bring laughter. What she doesn't realize is her boss watches everything that happens in the house. I won't give any more away. Just know the romance that blossoms isn't quick and isn't easy. And just when you think you finally have something figured out, there's a surprise twist. One that only made the story better, going from great, to perfection. The author weaving together peices of information until they're all laid out and finally come together. A hard earned HEA. One with any misstep, could have left the reader feeling a number of ways. It doesn't happen though. I don't think there's any way to be disappointed with this book.

Choosing Us

In this book we have Camila Jimenez. Camila was hired by Skyler to be Dr. Pierce's nanny for his 3 kids. Camila raised all of her brothers and sisters. She doesn't have a degree in education. But, she is going to nursing school.

Dr. Aiden Pierce is never home, always working 12 / 14 hr or more shifts every day. He is never around the kids, just Skyler and Camila. He's lost. He's lost touch with his kids. Aiden grew up in the foster care system with Bailey. They were best friends and always together. Aiden and Bailey loved each other and vowed never to part.

Aiden’s kids, Jackson, Jagger, and Journey form a bond with Camila. Even though Camila is only a nanny - as Dr. Pierce would say......they connected, they bonded. Camila and Jackson, the oldest boy, have a hate hate relationship at first. However, Jackson, finally opens his heart, and his head. Not all people are going to leave you, as he truly believes. Sometimes people are put in your path for a reason.

Choosing You

This is the 2nd book in the series. You will need to read Book 1, Choosing Us, as book 2 picks up right away.

Camilla is someone I rooted for from the very beginning. Her heart was pure and intentions noble.

Aiden suffered a loss that broke him, and in doing so, he left behind those who loved him most. I believe Aiden's kids - Jackson & Jagger suffered the most with the loss of him being around the house. He wasn't there for them. Aiden needed to be there for his kids and he wasn't. Yes, he was suffering, but, they were suffering also, they needed to be loved and cared for also.

Choosing Us

This book is emotionally raw from start to finish. My heart was shattered for young Aiden. He was so strong for such a little boy. Meeting Bailey was his saving grace.

Reading about the love that Aiden and Bailey shared is just magical and leaves me still wondering, “Where is Bailey?”.

We meet Camila in this story who is hired to help with Aidens children. Camila is great with children and is going through nursing school. Jackson, the oldest, gives her a run for a money but damn it is hilarious🤣 some out of line but I was still laughing. Sweet Journey instantly bonds with Camila. Jagger is the quiet but the things he says will have you thinking.🤔I still don’t know what her roll will be when it comes to Aiden in Choosing You but I can’t wait to find out!

I don’t want to spoil the story so Just READ IT! This book has so much feeling that you won’t be able to put it down. You will find yourself analyzing every detail trying to figure out what’s going on.

Choosing You

This book was just the icing on the cake! I had so many mixed emotions at the end of Choosing of Us. I didn’t know where Ms. Robinson was going with this story but I had a theory and I am so happy I was right! The anxiety I had waiting to see what was really going to happen drove me nuts!

Choosing You will have you drawn in from start to finish. Aiden Pierce is just perfection!🙌🏻 His character will have you SWOONING and leaving you with the biggest book hangover. I don’t want to say anything about Bailey or Camilla because it will totally give away what happens. Just trust me and READ it!! You will not regret it at all.

Oh and Monica that last page has me like😱😱😱😱! I CAN NOT WAIT FOR JACKSON AND HARLEYS STORY!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️

Choosing Us

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I Bow down to the Queen of Angst!

M. Robinson held nothing back on Choosing UsI I was a mess within the first chapter and that’s just the beginning. The whole book was a rollercoaster of emotions. And yes there is a cliffhanger, but the wait is going to be sooooo worth it.

Aiden and Bailey met as children and it grew to a love one only hopes to experience. They were made for each other. But does everyone get that happily ever after they dream of?

Author M. Robinson is the reason I became a fan of cliffhangers.

Choosing You

Where do I even start? The Pierced Hearts duet is a must read and one of my favorite reads.

Choosing You picks up where Book 1, Choosing Us, ends. And what an amazing, heartfelt journey it has been. The angst, the love, and laughter will have you hooked right from the start.

Dr. Aiden Pierce has got to be the most romantic hero M. Robinson has written ever! Dr. Aiden Pierce now owns my heart.

And Camila was everything you’d want in a heroine. She’s strong, independent and sassy as all hell.

The secondary characters were also amazing, Dante’ will have you literally laughing out loud.

I love M. Robinson’s ability to make you feel like you’re part of the story, feeling every emotion that each of the characters are feeling.

Loved this duet! And I love M. Robinson and every word she gives to us!

Grab a box of tissue because you're going to need them with this journey into a beautiful love story that is unlike any others I've read.

In the first part of this duet is Choosing Us.... My mind was totally BLOWN!! Aiden and Bailey's story is so thought provoking that it has my mind literally all over the place trying to figure out this mystery of Bailey. So many questions and I need the answers.

In the second part of the duet is Choosing You...OMG!!! I never saw it coming. All my questions are answered and they are nothing like I thought. Gosh...my mind was reeling with everything that is revealed. I never saw it coming. There are so many layers to this love story. The more I read, the more layers that was peeled back and a beautiful, heart breaking, angst filled, emotional story is told. Actually we get two love stories in one with this duet along with others blooming in the background.

My mind is still reeling with everything that was revealed. Both books left me speechless and my mind blown, but the ending brought all my emotions out. Like I said in the beginning makes sure to have a box of tissue ready.

THIS IS A DUET THAT YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS READING!! IT IS JUST THAT AWESOME!!!

M. Robinson delivers an extraordinary tale that is filled with everything that you look for in a great story and more....

Happy Reading Everyone!!!

Well, this first part of this duet wrecked me, and I mean wrecked me. The angst that Aiden's story holds, is gut wrenching. My emotions were all over the place, not only from the from the actual book, but being left with a cliffhanger of that caliper.

Robinson did a fine dang job of great world building, and originality. The development and depth was absolutely astounding. The dialogue was deep and breath taking. Overall, this was a well rounded first half of a duet. I wish to give more but that is impossible, because I don't know how to do that without spoiling.

*

It's always hard to do a review for the second half of a duet, but when it is a M. Robinson's duet? It's almost impossible. Holy Queen of angst. This author slays me with her work. I don't know how to even explain my love of this duet. It was hard, so dang hard. This duet wrecked me, and then built me back up. Every question I was left with after reading Choosing Us, was answered. This duet was so life-like, I had to keep reminding myself that it was a book.

Every character from Aiden to Bailey, from Bailey to Camilla, from Camilla to the kids made this story what it was. I felt each character like I needed to get into their heads and experience what they were experiencing. It was everything. This duet is everything!

*I RECOMMEND THIS DUET

In Choosing Us, the first book in M. Robinson’s Pierced Hearts Duet, we meet Aiden and Bailey as children and are given pieces and glimpses into their lives past and present, in Aiden’s point of view and the point of view of Camilla, their nanny. Choosing Us is filled with precious moments, hilarity, and a moment or two of spice. It had me laughing, crying, left intrigued and wanting so much more. I cannot get enough of Aiden and Bailey, and need some answers.
M. Robinson does not disappoint ever. You can’t help but to fall in love with her characters. They’re strength, weaknesses, trials and tribulations are so relatable, ya just can’t but to cry with them sometimes. So far, Choosing Us is proving to be no different from her other work. I am truly looking forward to Choosing You.

OH MY! What a conclusion to THE PIERCED HEART DUET!
CHOOSING YOU ended perfectly, with all of the questions answered from CHOOSING US, and even more to ask, as I soooo look forward to what’s next.

I loved this story and this family. It’s just such an amazing read, with all of FEELS! And all of these characters in this duet, you simply cannot help to invest in. They’re funny, loving and relatable. This story line in ways is very relatable. Especially if you’ve ever loved and lost.

So yes! Choosing You... this entire duet is a MUST READ! You will not want to put it down

Choosing Us

I knew Aiden would have a story and was looking forward to it until the preview at the end of Lost Boy. I was hesitant to even read this duet after reading reviews, but decided to keep going with Robinson's backlog. I like the set up of the dual storyline showing Aiden's past and present. I didn't connect with the characters, but had fun watching the kid interactions since I know they'll be in future books together. This was a slow read for me and I found it hard to stay invested. As per usual, this dual pov story gained momentum quickly before a cliffy ending. We still haven't had steam or the big reveal on what happened to a character, so I'm still intrigued and ready to see how the journey unfolds.

Choosing You
3.5 stars
After the cliffy ending in book one, it felt like book two was a giant snowball gathering steam towards the quickly tied up HEA ending. Still told in dual POV, this conclusion made for an easier read than the beginning. I think this could have flowed better and sparked more of a connection in me as a single (edited) book instead of a duet. The author has made me feel chest pains with her words before, but the set up of the Pierced Hearts duet just didn't inflict anything in me...aside from Aiden in the long awaited steamy scene. I'm happy I read the Pierce's journey since characters cross over to different series, plus at least two of the kids will be featured in their own books.
