Asha Vahistya promised to avoid getting involved in the affairs of others, but the very nature of his trade makes that impossible. Case and point: an encounter at an apothecary leads the messenger on a frozen trek through a mountain pass to locate the pharmacist’s employee.
Surviving the journey will take strength of will, stubborn determination, and a great deal of luck, but the unforgiving terrain is the least of Asha’s concerns.
Ethan Stein was born in Buffalo, NY, where he developed a love for writing at an early age. While the beginnings were rather gory and incomplete, it was the start of something important. In college, Ethan developed a far greater love and understanding of writing. It was there that he also began to develop the world of Marahspand, which was the foundation of his Divine Potentials Series. His wife and two kids have been very supportive in his quest to further flesh out his fantasy world and are eager to discover all he has to offer.
"FarSight: Blind Fury" is a short story prequel to "FarSight". I enjoy Ethan Stein's writing, his character development, his settings, and his ability to tell a story. This is an enjoyable and quick read, and I'm hoping there will be many more books in "The Divine Potentials" series - both regular-length novels and short stories.
My thanks to the author. This review was written voluntarily and is entirely my own, unbiased, opinion.
Good short story Asha goes to a pharmacy to get supplies and ends up on a trek up a mountain and the aid from the giant G'Bor. Quite an adventure. I received this free from the author.
