It only took one day, one millisecond, and my entire life changed before my eyes. It was then when I chose to follow my heart. Losing everything I ever loved does that to you. It makes you cold inside to the point where you wonder what the point in living is.
Now, only anger consumes me. I lost it all. Fuck, how could you blame me? I lost the one thing that brought so much joy-- never hearing her laughter whenever I open the door is going to burn more than any physical wound I could ever have.
Just like the moment everything changed for the worst, it begins to change for the better.
A black raven flies into my life causing chaos at every turn. At first, I refuse to admit she's gotten under my skin. Though, I can't hold back when jaw-dropping secrets are revealed and the true fight begins.
A price has been put on my little birds head.
There's only two questions I'm wondering: Can I except who she really is? Or should I let my little bird fly away?
Time is of the essence when it comes to figuring it all out. Regardless, she'll carry my mark.
I said in my review of the last book that Nicole was a total badass... yeah well this is the one who taught her everything so you can imagine what Raven is capable of.
This is kinda a enemies to lovers book. Raven didn't hate Blaze... matter of fact she was attracted to him but hated his whoring ways while he chased every man who came near her away. Until they get blackout drunk. Not sure how drunk Blaze was but Raven was.
Things go good for awhile until they don't and Raven gets to show her other side. You're going to love what she did with a trouble maker...had me lmao.

I absolutely adored this story!!! Blaze and Raven were on fire! Blaze came from a well to do family so when he had an oops with a girl from another well to do family their parents agreed to have them marry at 17. Blaze took his vows seriously the wife didn’t so they divorced after his little girl was born but tragically the little girl dies along with the wretched mother. Blaze vows to never give his heart away again. Fast forward he is now a part of the Devil’s Riot MC and only goes for the club women so he knows he won’t form any attachments. Then Raven comes along and he is a goner but she doesn’t make it easy for him. One drunken night they cross the line and end up as husband and wife turns out Blaze planned this all along. Raven has a darkness in her, will Blaze be able to temper that? When Dixie a club woman causes trouble for Blaze will he be able to reign her in?
Blaze and Raven's story will blow your mind!! It will have you sucked in and not wanting to put the book down until the end. Blaze has been through so much when he lost his daughter in a horrible accident. He closed off his heart UNTIL Raven came in his sights. The moment he seen her his heart started to open back up. Raven being Raven put up a fight and fought blaze but it didn't work. These two will have your kindles or books burning up from the heat they have for one another, to the hot and heaviness in the bedroom, to the love they have for each other! E.C. Land has done it again. The story, grammar and characters were amazing!! Can't wait for more in this series and more about Blaze and Raven!!
This book tugs at your heartstrings. Blaze endures a tragedy no one should ever have to. Years later he finds his one. He and Raven have danced around their feelings for a long time. Blaze decides he's had enough and does something about it, in a HUGE way. Before they have a chance to settle into their new life trouble comes in the form of everybody's favorite clubwh*^e. Dixie is HATED within the club. She causes problems at every turn and the Ol' Ladies are fed up. This time Dixie picked the wrong man to mess with and Raven is going to make sure she knows it. These women don't mess around and Raven has Blaze's full support with her plan. Blaze's Mark is a great read and will definitely keep you entertained!
Blaze’s Mark was more than I was expecting it to be, I think I went through every single emotion I could have. This may have been a fast paced story but it packed a punch. It drew me in from the beginning and held me enthralled till the end.
Raven and Blaze have a beautiful intensity that tugs at your heart. One thing I know for sure is that the women of the Devil’s Riot MC can definitely hold their own. That’s not to say that the men aren’t just as fierce but I’m enjoying the sassy vibes I get from these protective and loyal women. I am absolutely loving this series, can’t wait to see what comes next.
*** spoiler alert ***Blaze got a girl pregnant at 17 but he married her and after the little girl was born he divorced her after finding her in bed with his father. He went to get his little girl and ex wife fighting him and was high, she went to her and had an accident and killed both of them. He finally found someone that met something to him and Raven was drunk they got married. But one of the club women tried to say that he was the father of her child but it was his father’s, it happened just before he died. Dixie kept causing problems for them so when she had his brother Raven took him to raise him as hers. Raven took care of her and things were ok then.
They had a night of drunk in sex and the next day tried to forget it happened. Both Blaze and Raven didn’t want to admit that there was something between them. Blaze was fighting his feelings because he was still hurt and devastated from the loss of his child when he was younger. Raven was afraid to commit because she didn’t want to give up her freedom to fly. Blaze decided that Raven was gonna be his old lady, but5 forget to tell her, that just got her mad as hell. Hr chased her and messed with all of her dates until he caught her. Together, themselves and the DRMC start to build a future and to prove that you can fly even if your heart is bound by the mark of Blaze.
This book was totally amazing. I loved Blaze and Raven and together they are explosive. They end up getting married after a drunken night together and they decide to make a go of their marriage. Of course, there is an obstacle in the form of a pregnant Dixie who wants Blaze to herself but Raven, being the badass she is, does not allow Dixie to get her claws into Blaze. Lots of chemistry between Blaze and Raven which makes this a steamy read. EC Land you have delivered another awesome read and I am looking forward to seeing what you have in store for us next.
I received an arc copy and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
This is the third book in the Devil's Riot MC Originals series By E. C. Land, and as such the story isn't completed without reading the first two books.
I loved Blaze and Raven's story. The heartbreak and betrayal... It sucks you in. Old enemies come back, and friendships are strengthened. This one is not as rock'em rock'em as the others, but the justice served at the end is perfect. Can't wait to read Reaper's story...
Honestly, it's a good book, with some twists and surprises along the way, as well as an HEA. This one is not a wasted read.

I was excited to read Blaze and Raven's story although I never saw it coming like it did. Blaze and Raven have been attracted to each other for awhile and have had some pretty good nights in the sheets together. Blaze had a horrible trauma in his past and didn't want an ol' lady or even a woman in his life full time. Raven has had feeling for Blaze but didn't like that he always seemed to have a club girl in his lap every time she saw him at the clubhouse. Eventually Blaze decides to make Raven his and of course there is some drama with an old club girl. I enjoyed reading Blaze and Raven's story.

Blaze and Raven have been going in circles with each other. When Blaze sees her out on a date he has to put a stop to it. Never in Raven's wildest dreams did she imagine not only getting with Blaze but waking up with his mark on her.
When one of the club girls shows up pregnant, claiming it is Blaze's, Raven has a feeling it isn't but she would never stand in his way of being with his child. Once they find out the truth will Blaze and Raven be able to move forward with their relationship?
Loved this story. I like the touch of psychic abilities brought in. This is a emotional roller coaster, touching on insecurities we all hold. There is a lot of action but not the usual Mc stuff. I can not wait to read the next book, and will read this one again before I read it. E.C. Land is becoming a go to author of Mc romance and I thank Elizabeth Knox for introducing me to Land and a few others.. A must read.

This is the 3rd book in EC Land’s Devils Riot Originals series. Due to a tragic past Blaze has sworn to never let another woman into his life. Well that all flew out the window when he met Raven. Yes his book drew me in from the epilogue until the last page. Fortunately there is another book featuring this couple because while this did not end on a cliffhanger there are unanswered questions to the ongoing storyline.

I love MC books and read them a lot, so I am frustrated that this series is so mediocre. I really don't understand how this is getting 5 stars, it's so far out there as far as these characters are concerned. I would give it 2.5 stars for passing the time but there is absolutely no connection to these guys and I desperately wanted there to be. The plot is all over the place and the sex scenes are about as hot as C rate porn, I started to skip through them in the end. I've complained about the editing in some MC series but even with that the MC books by Erin Trejo and Janine Infante Bosco knock this lot into a cooked hat, their books are far superior, sorry. Not sure I'll continue with this series.
I absolutely loved this book. Blaze's Mark is the 3rd book in the Devil's Riot MC Originals series. The story was very well written and grabbed me from page one and I read this book in one sitting. Blaze and Raven had very sexy and down right steamy chemistry. There is one major problem that comes up, but you need to read this book to find out how it gets resolved. I can't wait to read the next book in this series.

I am loving the DRMC Originals. These woman are bad@ss and not to be messed with. If you think you can mess with them, their men or family you have another thing coming. I need more of this series ASAP!! 🖤🔥🖤
This book was short compared to the other two in the series I felt a little short changed by it and have to wait for book four for the continuation of the book which was disappointing I want it now and the other book isn't out for a couple of months at least
There's just something missing in these books and I cant quite put my finger on it. Lack of depth, connection with the characters, mediocre sex scenes.
If you want to learn about the author, make sure to read her Acknowledgments. Also, if you're interested, she has created a playlist. Lastly, she's created a warning that you need to pay attention to.
Blaze had to learn how to grow up fast. He's recently developed a plan and it will be interesting to see what author has in store. Raven has a moment where she's in a scene from a movie. I never had any interest in watching it. Now, I may have to see it so that I may be able to find what she was referencing to.
What I liked was how the author shows how two people can see things differently. She made it very easy to picture each scene as it plays out so make sure to remember her warning. She created an "oh no" moment and that's the point at which this story became a page-turner.
With hot and humid days why not find a cool place to sit and read her latest work. But this is not all about the heat our main characters create when they are together. We have a little suspense, a royal pain secondary character, and a family dynamic that seems to work. I was very glad that I read this book but also disappointed with myself. Disappointed that I've missed the first two books but I quickly put them on my TBR list.
The author has written this book so that it could be read as a standalone but if you're like me you will want to go back and find out what you missed. Now that I'm hooked, I'll try and be careful to keep my eyes open for the next book. And if you also like this one, you may want to go and see what else she has to offer with some of her other series.
I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
I stumbled into this without realising it was 3rd in the MCs series. Even with that I didn't feel lost it certainly can be read as a Standalone.
On to the story I was immediately engrossed with the story. It starts with Blaze and Raven waking up after a drunken night in bed together and married.
Blaze has a very upsetting history with women and trust he had sworn off all women. His needs being met by the club girls. Then he met Raven. He had been trying to fight that attraction but he can't and wants to stay married.
Raven is attracted to Blaze and has been for a long time. She has avoided him as knew that he wasn't the settling down type. Therefore she is very shocked to find herself married to him.
There marriage is almost instantly challenged when they get to the club house to find a very pregnant club girl claiming the baby is Blaze's.
I loved Raven she's a very strong character and loyal. She obviously has a temper and I wouldn't like to get on the wrong side of her.
I found the storyline to be very well written and very different from other MC books I have read. It was refreshing and I was kept interested the whole way through.
A must read for those looking for a MC book with a twist. Especially those who love a strong female character. I think I need to read more of the series and others by the author very soon.
A killer bird named Raven gets her wings scorched by Blaze
Blaze's Mark is the third book in the Devil's Riot MC: Originals series and is the story of Blaze and Raven. They are an interesting couple to say the least. Blaze has suffered emotionally for years after his daughter was killed by his ex-wife, who also died. She was the only thing that he cared for and after what happened he walled his heart up and was not interested in anything emotional with anyone ever again........that way you can't get hurt again. But along flies Raven and he is more than interested in taking a chance. One night the opportunity arises and by the next morning they are husband and wife. Well how did that happen??? Let's just say that Blaze sort of planned it and is happy to keep her tied to him now. But Raven is not going to make it so easy for him. Add in there are other things happening around the MC and one of the club women tries to make trouble for Raven. It will be up to Blaze to protect Raven, even if she can more than do that herself.
This was an engaging story with a lot of twists and turns, along with secrets, drama and some smoking hot and sexy chemistry between Blaze and Raven. They bicker all the time which just adds to their chemistry and is fun to read.
This was a great story, actually it was 3 great stories which all fit into the authors timeline in different parts. However this is not made clear in the book itself. The first section is meant to be read and then another several books come before the second section, this is not made clear in the book and let me tell you, it was an emotional roller coaster to go through all these emotions just to find out it wasn’t in the right place in the timeline!
Section 3 is to be read at a different time entirely and at least this part was made clear. I do think this book would have served so much better as three separate short stories under their titles. Unfortunately it wasn’t and I ruined a big moment for myself unintentionally! Which is frustrating because I love Raven and her family!
The actual content was good but it needs to be clearer in terms of reading order.
Another amazing yet too short installment in this series. I say too short because I wanted more—I love all these characters and I can’t get enough. Luckily more stories are coming. (Possible Spoilers). I absolutely LOVE E.C. Land’s heros and heroines. I love that Blaze went after what he wanted and nothing stopped him. I was grateful that Raven didn’t fight him once she realized that he truly loved her and was devoted to her. Dixie— OMG!! I knew she was a conniving skank from the last book, but I never realized she was such a delusional psycho. I can’t wait for this Stoney/Rachel/Boss situation to be dealt with. I feel like it’s been hanging over our heads for three books now. Stoney better do right by Rachel (but I feel like he will😉). Waiting for the next installments is going to be so hard!!
I read this via my ku subscription and am leaving my review voluntarily. It is part of the Devils Riot MC, Originals series.
Triggers: other woman drama
Spoilers: Blaze (Liam) - after his daughter dies, he is determined to never get involved with a woman again. Uses club whores but Raven gets under his skin.
Raven - works as a vet by day and an assassin by night. attracted to Blaze but usually steers clear of him.
A night of drinking. Morning after surprise. Drama. Sexy time. (Both characters were fine. Raven being an "assassin" does zero to the overall story. Her constant need to show she's "tough" was annoying. I wish there was more interaction between Blaze and Raven before the night of drinking) Still a likeable series.
3rd book in the Devil's Riot MC series, Blaze and Raven's story is a fast paced hot read that is filled with drama. While Blaze is one sexy biker, he belongs to Raven and she is a woman to watch out for when someone tries to come between her and Blaze. He belongs to her and she takes no prisoners when crossed. Dixie, an old club wannabe, comes back causing trouble for them and finds out the hard way. "Blaze's Mark" is a page turner with some surprising twists as Blaze and Raven's story plays out to a HEA. **I was gifted "Blaze's Mark" via Booksprout and leave my review voluntarily based on my reading"" 4.5 Stars!
Absolutely love Blaze and Raven! He was determined to claim his Little Bird and she showed him it was okay to love again. I love her unique qualities and how they weave into the story in a totally believable way. And when there was drama that could have easily torn their new relationship/marriage to shreds they stood by each other and showed what true love looks like. I love E.C. Land's stories and Blaze and Raven are my new favorite couple, passing Rage and Cleo (didn't think that was possible).
This series has a lot of strong characters of both sexes which is wonderful to see. In some cases the females seem to be the stronger in places but the good thing with these books is that mainly the men except this. Yes there are triggers but that is stated in the blurb so please read. Living the storylines as although they are connected on many levels the main characters in the book have their story within which is really well constructed. Overall everything comes together to make a really interesting read.
What a story! Blaze has come through the fires of hell only to be dealt another fate of deception. When he and Raven finally got hitched, he wasn't expecting a one night hook up to create problems right in the beginning of his marriage. Raven sees everything and knows something isn't right. Will the deception bring an end to her and Blaze! This is filled with drama that keeps you on the edge of your seats from start to finish.

I just discovered this author when I started this series and she delivers with this newest release that doesn’t disappoint. This MC romance read is the perfect fit to this addicting series. If your a fan of this genre that has a delicious heat level, explosive chemistry and an exciting storyline than this is a must for you. I can’t wait for more and highly recommend you start this today.
It was great to get the background on both Blaze and Raven. He was just having fun and didn’t want anything serious. Raven wanted Blaze but refused to admit it. She began going out with other guys only to have Blaze sabotage the date. These two were meant to be together, they just had to realize it, with a little bit of help from their MC Family. Read On!
