This is another great story by Julia Mills. It is fantastic to see some old friend characters in this story. Yes, it is a quick read but boy is it good. It will have you laughing throughout it. It is extremely well written and of course the characters are stunningly beautiful. They have amazing personalities that are felt throughout the story. I love we get to experience so much in such a short time in the story. It is a must read that has you glued to the edge of your seat.

Another hysterical Magic & Mayhem Universe story. Edna Easterwing (an Eagle shifter-Abigail, who has a mouth like a sailor) if on her way to Assjacket, W. Virginia, to see the witch Zelda, the next in line to become the Baba Yaga and Edna's friend. She needs Zelda's help with a situation she can't handle herself. On the way, she's in a car accident and is rescued by a Mule shifter, Levi Ledbetter, who gets her to Zelda's. As it happens Levi is Edna's mate - her Eagle shifter Abigail is in love and as is happens so is Edna. There is someone after Edna and that person wants Edna dead!
What ensues is a hilariously funny, magical, romantic story with snarky humor that has you belly laughing!! I loved it and cant wait for the next Magic & Mayhem story.

Listen to yourself
This book is such a great addition to the M&M Universe. I love how this author always interjects those little side comments like the characters are talking to you. It really makes you feel like you are instantly connected to the characters and invested in the outcome of the story. Not to mention it is absolutely hilarious, especially when you through in the voice of the inner shifter and anyone else who happens to be able to connect mentally. I really enjoyed that we got to take a road trip to Assjacket in this book. Anytime Zelda is hands on you know the intensity and danger are going to be off the charts, but you are going to laugh a mile a minute, be well fed and look fabulous while you win the day. Ahh, good times. I know I just finished reading this book, but I already can't wait to see what happens next with the Maidens of Mayhem I just know it's sure to be fantastic.

Edna Easterwing (and her alter-ego eagleshifter Abigail) is in trouble, and she needs to get herself out, and over to someone to help her. Edna is quirky, and you will hear lots of her internal thoughts (so if you don't like that it might not be for you), but she certainly was entertaining and has lots of conversations with Abigail. I enjoyed this funny romance, with it's crazy colourful characters and happy ending.

Another one of the Maidens finds their mate. Or rather he found her. I always love when we visit Assjacket, you never know what to expect. The banter between Edna and Abigail had me in tears. Levi was perfect for 'them'. Once again Ms. Mills gives us a story that will have you in hysterics. Although it was a quick read, it actually took me a while to finish because I was laughing so hard. A great addition to the M&M world. This is my honest opinion of an advanced copy i received.

Funny, quirky, magical laugh out loud fun. I so enjoy these stories, as they transport me to a different world for a little while. Edna needs to deal with a problem that the Maidens of Mayhem thought was long gone. Her bat-shit crazy cousin has returned with a vengeance, looking to kill everyone in her path. Edna, Clementine, Zelda & Levi(Edna's mate) must save the day! Check out this fun little series as soon as you can.

This was an amazing book. Every book in this series is wonderful filled with excitement, suspense, romance, and the story line is simply enthralling. This is a fast paced book that meshed completely with the other books in the series. It can be read as a stand alone book but when read with the rest of the series it just makes this book so much better.

Omg! This book was so full of sassy, hysterical quotes. Edna Jean is an eagle shifter and is rescued by a mule shifter named Levi, when her evil and deadly cousin Bella, tries to kill her. Julia Mills has an amazing imagination and a way with words that will continually keep you laughing and smiling. Love, love, loved it.

This was great. I enjoyed reading this book and couldn’t put it down. I love the characters and the world that they live in. Now I have to read the rest of the magic and mayhem books. I voluntarily reviewed this advance copy.

This is such a funny universe. It is great to know that as always, Julia´s heroines are sassy ladies!!! Loved to re visit old friends and meet new ones. You will read this one with one sitting living with a HEA, a happy heart and maybe learning some crazy colorful words, lol

Fun, quick read with an interesting storyline and zany characters. Edna (eagle shifter) and Levi (mule shifter) are perfect for each other.

Great fun read.
Ms Mills must be one of the best authors out there for zany, fast paced stories with quirky characters.

Was sooo excited to get another book in this series and it did not disappoint. I love how fiery each woman is and how they find the man to match their personality. I loved how Edna was giving up without a fight. I loved how Levi wanted to protect her, but also allowed her to show her strength. Good read!

Love the M&M universe and just love Edna. This story had me on the edge of my seat for the whole story, just couldn't put it down. Cant wait to read more about the Maidens of Mayham!!

Super fun read. Julia has a way of bringing you into this world and making it where you don't want to leave. This book is a great fun read and would recommend it to anyone!
