I needed a read that would help me escape these troubled times. I found it in A Run To Hell. The characters are a mélange of gritty, flawed, but relatable actors. Schofield shows us humanity in the face of horror, but the emotional journey never slows the pace of the action. He posits credible theories about what really happened to America’s only true princess, Grace Kelly. He escorts you through the danger and darkness of criminal minds, while bringing you back home safely. Highly recommended.
Wow! Just finished A Run to Hell and what a read. You won’t want to put it down. Schofield has a knack for transporting a reader into the heart of a story that’s filled with amazing twists and turns in an exciting historical backdrop. I felt as though I personally knew the characters and can’t decide who was my Jamie, Lee or Frankie. Highly recommended by a new fan who’s ordering Schofield’s “The Boardwalkers” today. Can’t wait to get it.
