This book covers Indian history from 1000 - 1500 AD. Author covers the story only from perspective of Delhi not from any other places in India. He cover Muslim rules in quite detailed but not Hindu rulers. For example Vijaynagar kingdom spawned for 2 centuries but book covers it in just around 15 pages out of 326 pages. Book don't mention about iconoclasm and effects of sultanate rule on indigenous people. I will not call this book a advanced study of entire so called medieval period but only of rulers of Delhi.
