I read this book with a women’s Bible study group. The author had a unique style on interjecting real person stories in the middle of expository passages which sometimes worked well as an illustration but other times was a bit chaotic. There were some very helpful explanations of cultural and historical customs at the time. The review and discussion questions included were quite helpful.
