Eoin is such a bad bad boy. Give me more, I adored him and this book.
When Duffy was given the job as his Babysitter, she didn’t know quite what to expect, let’s just say first impressions definitely count , she got the message loud and clear.
Eoin is on the path of self destruction, he’s hurting and just wants the world to know it. The two characters feed off each other , theirs is a volatile relationship, one that most would walk away from and give up.
Not these two,it seems somewhere deep inside their hearts there’s a small seed that’s determined to grow and when it does this book becomes incendiary, you can feel the emotional turmoil dripping from the pages along with the fiery heat of their passion. It’s positively outstanding!
What more can I say . This book is wonderful, brilliant and addictive reading. Bring on Michaels story.
I received an Arc copy of this book and chose to post this review
I am providing an honest review in exchange for an ARC of this book.
Ok. I loved this book. Eoin (pronounced Owen) we previously met in my brothers girl. He’s the hopeless romantic of the family. With a broken heart he turns to self destruct mode queue Duffy. Now Duffy was slightly annoying with the whole life plan actually being a printed out document. But they worked as a couple. I loved Eoin I loved how funny he was. How childish but not to childish he was. Reading this book I laughed so much. And was so happy they got their happy ever after. This book was well written. There were a few errors as with most books. But I would recommend this series to anyone. Enjoy x
It took me a little time to get into this book. The beginning I felt was a bit of a slow burn but this book truly was brilliant.
Once I was hooked I really was. Eoin and Duffy are truly amazing characters both stubborn and batteling their own fears of love. The way the story portrayed both characters was phenomenal. I felt like I was apart of the book viewing it all up close. I love the playboy/badboy Eoin but seeing his unfolding was magical and Duffy my strong minded take no crap woman, absolutely loved you. Seeing duffy take on her babysitting role was hilarious in many parts and had me laughing out loud. The games they play with each other are truly brilliant. If you haven't read it do so and now.
When Duffy's new position is as a babysitter to rugby bad boy, Eoin O'Sullivan, she just knows things are going to go south with her new job because he's utterly impossible. And gorgeous. And broken inside. And so does not fit into her Life Plan.
The sparks between Duffy and Eoin are surely hiding more than antagonism, though, and it's beyond inevitable that the fire is lit and they fall headlong into their attraction. Is Eoin merely using Duffy to ease his pain, though? Is Duffy merely managing Eoin the only way that seems to work? Or will they have the courage to admit what's really going on, the feelings that are clearly flaring between them?
This one touched my heart a little. Eoin was so clearly hiding a lot of pain, and acted out to hide that pain. And Duffy was the unfortunate soul who had to get him to see reason. That she fell for him was of course going to happen, but I hurt for her when he simply could not help himself and lashed out. Thank God they both got their heads on straight at the end, though. I loved Player's Kiss. It's emotionally riveting, it's really sexy, and Eoin and Duffy hilarious and hot all at once together.

We first meet Eoin in My Brother's Girl, which was previous to this book. You don't have to read it first, but I recommend doing so, so you get a better understanding of the state Eoin is in when you get started. Coming off of a major heartbreak, he's sworn off love, his brothers and his responsibilities to his teammates. Because of some questionable decisions and actions, his manager has hired a "babysitter" from the teams PR firm to keep him in line. Duffy has a life plan, and watching every move of the most notorious player on the All Ireland Rugby team is not on that list. Neither is falling in love. The journey of these two is filled with hilarity, emotion, and plenty of chemistry. I love Eoin, especially when he shows his thoughtful side. Duffy is so straight-laced, you are just waiting for her to let loose. Sienna takes two complete opposites and brings them together in a beautiful way. This is a great read.
The bad boy of Rugby meets his match. After having to deal with his brother stealing his girl, Eion spirals out of control. His career is on the line if he doesn't pull himself together. But he needs a little help and everyone the team gets him, he manages to chase away. Until he meets her. A quirky and fun story.
At first I felt sorry for Eoin. Yea Kayleigh just broke up with him. But honestly. He couldn’t even answer Darren (in the previous book) about if he loved her or not. Let’s be real here. He did NOT. and did NOT want to admit as such. He was in lust not love. Because he was obviously caught up in the fact that she saved his life and having a soul mate and not being alone just plain sucked. Duffy was one track minded and that ‘Life Plan’ was all that mattered and Eoin was standing in her way. With his playboy party antics and no care attitude. But she needed to take a small play from his book because she was letting life pass her by by having blinders on to anything but her ‘Plan’. SPOILER: Loved the turning point I believe when he helps her cover the handcuff incident with fake yoga. Made their ingenious plotting and scheming of one another’s pranks and catches work toward a common goal. Putting them on a more friendlier terms. Second turning point is the ‘ecstasy moment’. Loved it. Loved that he got to realize. That when you care for someone you take risks no matter the consequences. He didn’t think anyone would be that for him or do that for him and Duffy proved him wrong. On another time Eoin opened up about his family to Duffy. -“My brothers were, and are, the best dads in the world,” he said, his voice sincere. “All of them.” One of the better lines from Eoin about his family. Gave a little light at the end of the tunnel to the feud between him and Darren. One thing I loved was the last convo with Darren. Where you see brothers helping each other and bringing an I understanding about how love isn’t perfect. It’s messy and hard work. And with that notion I loved the ending. The epilogue has almost cliffhanger ending. That I am not sure I like. Lol. Mostly cause I like my HEA. But I’m sure more will sort itself out in Michaels book next. Can’t wait for that one.

“Lions and tigers and bears.” They say impressions are everything. This is even more true when meeting your next babysitter as a twenty-three-year-old Irish rugby star. It is vital to lay out from the very start that you intend to be a belligerent child, a petulant pain, and an unbearable piece of s—. It is imperative to give your babysitter not even the glimmer of hope, not even the tiniest trace of a redeeming quality. To push someone away, one must start pushing and shoving and kicking and irritating within the first three seconds. Enjoying the bewildered quirk of the girl’s eyebrow above her librarian-like glasses (the kind that shushes you, not the kind that blows you between the racks in Egyptian mythology), I stretched my arms and nestled the back of my head in my hands. The rugby ball over my naked lap wobbled precariously. “Um, I’m sorry?” the girl asked, clearing her throat nervously. I grinned and wiggled my toes at the end of the bed where the down feathers from last night's naked pillow fight still lay. “Lions and tigers and bears, oh my,” I said. “Which do you want me to be?” The girl shook her head. “I don’t… I…” “Eoin, behave,” Patrick warned. I ignored him. Per usual. “Do you want me to bite you?” Colour rose in the girl’s cheeks. “Claw you?” “I—” “Chase you?’ “Eoin!” I licked my lips. “Eat you?”
I’ve been waiting for this story since “My Brothers Girl” and it did not disappoint. I just loved Eoin he was such a sweetheart and it’s amazing to see his perspective of things that happened during the previous book. Not to mention the way the events go on to shape him.
Eoin has given up on love...hates it even! He tried it once and got his heart stomped all over. This once hopeless romantic has shunned future love and turned regular playboy with a bad attitude. He is a PR nightmare. He’s had countless PR reps try and put him back on the straight and narrow all of whom have failed until Her!
Duffy is not your typical girly girl, far too focused on her career to date and find love, she’s not interested in the distraction of if its not in the “life plan” it doesn’t exist. When she’s offered the opportunity to advance her career she takes it. Little known to her she’s just signed up to be Party boy Eoins’ latest “babysitter”.
Join this duo as they duke it out and trade cheap shots at each other, he wants her gone and she’s to bullheaded to quit and let a pesky playboy stand in her way. Fireworks and fisticuffs from the get go but oh so entertaining. So get reading!!!
I honestly thought I review this one already... Here we go... Inlove the Irish Kiss series and yes in past reviews I have said I loved other book in the series best. I stand by that, I lived this book I loved Duffy and her life plan. I loved that she was so careful with herself and felt the need to protect herself. Watching someone you live get hurt over and over by love will harden your heart. I loved that Eoin made her throw caution to the wind. Admittedly I didn't really see much in Eoin's character in my brother's girl, but here... In players kiss! Holy hell and hotness!! I felt his heartache, his betrayal, his humour and eventually his appreciation that something or someone rather better for him came along. Read this book guys you won't be disappointed
I found the writing a 'bull in a china shop' approach. There were some really glaringly obvious plot holes that the author skipped over to make the story move along. For example Eoin tells security she is a crazy ex and she is denied entry to the training facility. She manages to sneak but nothing is rectified she is not a crazy ex. The reader must just assume security magically realises she is not a crazy ex and should there always be granted access to the facility.
I appreciate that sometime liberties are taken for the reader to assume at times but I found several of these plot assumptions in the short bit I read, it is a bit if a bug bear of mine. I feel the author could have taken the time to smooth these questions over and allow Duffy to get one up Eoin in a believable way be getting security on her side for example.
It took me a little time to get into this book. The beginning I felt was a bit of a slow burn but this book truly was brilliant.
Once I was hooked I really was. Eoin and Duffy are truly amazing characters both stubborn and battling their own fears of love. The way the story portrayed both characters was phenomenal. Eoin’s heart is still breaking from his ex-fiancée and his brother and he is drinking himself into a stupor that leaves him hung over and angry at the world. He’s gone through several PR babysitters and he enjoys riling them up in order to get them to quit! However, when Duffy comes on the scene Eoin is torn between his past and the future he sees with Duffy. He never thought he’d feel this way again and he’s scared to take that step with her. He tried ignoring his feelings but she makes it near impossible. Watching these two stubborn and adorable people find their happiness with each other is one heck of a ride. You will love every minute of it! Happy Reading!
I totally enjoyed this book, wow the O’Sullivan brothers with their charm and looks again stole my heart. We first met Eoin when he fell in love with Kayleigh in My Brother’s Girl. A completely one sided romance, built on clouds and fluffy fairy tales, it wasn’t real so the subsequent break up tore Eion apart and estranged him from his family. At the start of this book, Eion is hell bent on destruction and destroying his Rugby career. 23 and on the way to a ruined life, Duffy arrives as a PR manager to baby sit this boy child. The pair have a lot of growing up, a lot of pain to both recognise and allow healing to happen. I so enjoyed ready this and would recommend to everyone.
I am so happy that Eoin got his HEA after the way he felt after his brother stoled his girl! Eoin and Duffys story will pull at your heartstrings and have you rooting for them with each obstacle they face. They may not all be physical obstacles but they are still barriers they have to get past. Once I started this book I couldn’t put it down. I was hooked from page one and can’t wait to see if Michael and Noah also their own happily every after’s! You won’t regret grabbing this page turner today!!!
I thought Eoin was kind of shallow in previous books, but he actually turned out to be a deeper character than anyone knew. I liked his generosity, and how Duffy came along and made him question his resolve to stay away from love. I LOVE this author and everything she writes.
To see Eoin heal and find his true soul mate was awesome. I cringed at his actions. But I loved watching him learn to love again. Duffy was the best at keeping everything together til she finally realized that the safe path isn't always the best path to take in life. Another amazing story by Sienna. Cant wait for the next book in the series.
I'm astounded by all the good reviews. I quit at 25% because Eoin was just an over the top caricature of a boy pretending he didn't care about anything or anyone and Duffy, for someone who has a career in PR was totally lacking a spine. I'm loathe to use the word but...trash. That's my one word to sum up this book.
This story grabbed me from the start, it had all the feels, the repressed sexual tension, the will they, won’t they, was off the charts. The laugh out loud moments is what did it for me and those bedroom scenes were wicked and oh so steamy, hot, wet and wild!
I love a good romance story where there is so much humor. Eoin and Duffy play off each other so well. I also like that Eion had drinking, womanizing and even drug issues it's refreshing to have a main character with faults but still appealing and you want him to succeed.
I love stories that have so much sexual tension that you could cut it with a knife. This book has it in spades! Duffy is one of my favorite heroines. She is so up tight, that it's a wonderful release for me, as a reader, to watch her let it all go.
This book was hilarious, beautiful, sweet and you don’t want to put it down. It is written so well the characters are perfect. I laughed many times. I definitely recommend it.
Enjoyed the build of the characters, they were funny and down to earth. I literally laughed out loud at times but felt both Duffy and Eoin were relatable.
