*Trigger alert for domestic violence, abuse, and sexual content.*
Everyone believes that their love-story will be like a fairy tale. The choices that you make in love are crazy. You disregard everything offensive, irrational, illogical, and think that passion shall reinstate positivity. Nigama RV tells us one such tale about a girl who fell in love with a guy, who got signs all through the relationship that she has no say in anything, but she thought that she would overcome it all with devotion. Does that mean we should stop believing in our happy endings? No, by this story, the writer has attempted to create awareness to see subtle signs that they experience in their bond; when you need to quit and take a stand for yourself.
The idea the author has represented via the tale is remarkable. The writing is very straightforward, which makes it all very genuine. There are a few structural errors that are ignorable because of the strong theme.
I would suggest this book to all women, parents, hubby, and boyfriends to build recognition and to address if they know of anyone who is going through complications in the marriage. The lead in the novel was fortunate, but not necessarily everyone might.

Evie meets Nate a a birthday party, and feels an attraction to him and he seems to feel the same. Evil is only 17 and is soon leaving to attend university.
Nate gave her a letter at the party though she never read it, until one night at university she does and then takes a chance and calls him, so begins an intense relationship. Evie is so in love and can't believe her luck as Nate is the the most caring and wonderful person ever.
But does the fairy tale last,, is Nate the Prince who sweeps her off her feet? Or is he the stuff of nightmares. I really enjoyed this book, it is dark but enjoyable highly recommended

This is very emotional story with alot of triggers, read with caution.
With that said I read it in a couple of hours, I couldn't put it down. Evie meet Nathan at a birthday party at 17.
Nathan wanted here since the first time he seen her. Evie thought see found her Prince. She had suspicions about Nathan but he would sweet talk her to get her back. This goes on for a few years while she is at the University. Evie is done with University and Nathan wants to marry right away. It is hel for Eviie once they are married. You need to read Choices to find out this turns out. I will read more from Nigama R.V.

Ill be honest this book was a hard read for me. A short story about a violent and abusive relationship. Using manipulation Nathan seems to groom Evie (FMC) into believing his control & possessiveness is because he loves her so much. Slowly alienating her from her friends and trying to separate her from her family in the process. Everything seems to happen so quickly in this book. From the beginning when Nathan has just met Evie to within a few days telling her he loves her, then a few weeks into their relationship talking about marriage & moving to Australia. I struggled to find any redeeming things about Nathan (which i understand is the point) even from the beginning of the book & in the same breath i loathed his mother too. I did genuinely feel for Evie even though throughout the book i was hoping that she would dump him but that didnt happen. Although this book was well written it wasnt really for me. No criticism about the book at all. Just dont read this book if your looking for a happy ending because sadly there isnt one

I do not know where to start with this review. I loved the concept of this book. However, if you have triggers of abuse of any kind then you do not need to go any further. This book is about choices that a woman makes. What will happen and where will it lead? It has a fast pace setting and flows well. The female main character is Evie and the choices she makes throughout her college experience. She met Nathan before she left for college and decides to pursue a relationship. Now several things occur and she is brave for dealing with a lot. So this was a different aspect for me to read. It seems to give you the aspect of what some women in real life chose. If you want to read something that is fast-paced and have no triggers then I do suggest this book.

The story is of a typical foolish girl, again and again falling into the trap of love. But still not monotonous. Captivating the reader to not to miss any episode takes to the end for an extraordinary experience of a read. The characters are so well drawn that the pictures leave their prints in the mind. Nigama has really done an appreciable work in bringing out the emotions.

Definitely triggers in this book, so be warned. This is a seriously thought provoking story. You can see how quickly Evie is being overwhelmed by her love for Nathan, and even though she notices some very worrying behaviour from the start, she still lets her love for him prevail. The book is well written, sucking you into the story from page 1. The writing flows in a wonderful style which means you absorb every word and crave more. I can't wait to hear more from this author who isn't afraid to write about gritty subjects.

So the book begins with a segment of physical abuse which will leave you terrified.
Story revolves around a teenage girl 'Evie' who is about to leave her parents for further studies. She meets a boy 'Nathan' at a birthday party who is much older than her. And before even talking or knowing each other Nathan gives her a letter in which he has declared his love for her. And after two months Evie gave in and call him. He's everything a girl could dream of. Just like a prince charming.
But is it his true face?
How can he crazily love her without even knowing her?
They both get in a relationship and this is how Evie's normal and happy life changes into a pathetic one. She separated herself from her friends(boys) because of Nathan. And by every passing time she saw his true face but she was in an illusion of love which ended her up being married to a man who is now kicking, punching and abusing her beyond a limit.
As the title suggests, everyone has to face the consequences of their choice. So choose wisely!
I read it in one sitting as it's short and I eagerly wanted to know the reason for things that happened out of the blue. Writing style and storytelling was perfect. There wasn't any unnecessary informations which is a good thing. However, I feel like the book ended abruptly. Maybe I wanted more at the end from Evie's side. But overall the book was good.
I wouldn't recommend this book to light-hearted people who easily gets serious issues in mind and if it stays with them for a long time. Otherwise you can go for it!

Sometimes in life we make hasty decisions, but should we take the most important decision of our life in haste? One impulsive “relationship decision” can mean finding yourself in a hole that you can’t easily climb out of. Here in this story Evie has done the same mistake( the choices she made). The story starts when Evie meets Nathan and feels an attraction to him and he seems to feel the same. And very soon her attraction turns into love as she was very impressed by Nathan's love and concern for her but then she realises he is trying to control her life but Nathan manipulates her mind by making her believe that his control & possessiveness is because he loves her so much. After finishing her studies she gets married to Nathan but was it a good decision.......?
The story is dark and intense, with alot of triggers(read with caution). But it's so well written and the way it's narrated is very engaging. A well written, pacy and gripping book and can be finished in one sitting. I really enjoyed the read and looking forward to read more books by the author.

Excellently written characters that draw you into the story. The story really tells as you can picture yourself as Evie while it goes thru the book. Being young and finding the person Evie believes she unconditionally loves and trusts with her whole heart. There are twists and things that you dont believe would happen in the book.
I would warn anyone with triggers to be cautious reading this as there are many triggers.

This book was a wow book. I enjoyed reading it but I sure wanted to smack Nathan. This author is going to be a great author for people to read and follow. I do recommend this book but it has some triggers, so beware of that.

A wakeup call, a worst nightmare whatsoever y'all, especially girls wouldn't want this not so eventful experience to take place in their life. Its a dark romantic tale that depicts a Preety little sweet girl, falling head over heels, for a guy she meets in a party, more off a "love at first sight" thing, from their to all the way till their marriage. Just judging by his looks and his sweet little alluring talks..she is drawn to him a moth to flame, never knowing what this one "CHOICE" could do to her future.

This book reminded me of 'Domestic Violence ' episode of the show 'Satyamev Jayate'. I became very scared of marriages after watching that episode. There were numerous real life stories of domestic violence & Abusive Relationship in that episode which gave me chills.
I think societal pressure is one of the reason why people accept to be in these abusive relationships and marriages. Calling out a marriage or relationship is not very much accepted in our society. Because of which many people choose to stay in whatever hell they are.
Evie in this book is such a girl who gets into an abusive relationship and eventually gets married to him. But she makes a 'choice' to stay with him because she loved him( or thought so) also she didn't wanted her parents to know about it and become worried about the whole thing.
This book shows us "All that Glitters is not Gold". Never fall for people just for their sugar coated words if the person doesn't understand you or respect you. If at any point of time you feel it otherwise.

It's a very short , fast paced novel with a good plot. But,i just couldn't accept how Evie got into a relationship with a man by just reading a letter. And they got cheesy from the very first day itself. Anyways, Written in simple language it could be easily understood by everyone. However, it's a dark novel and has sensitive content . Therefore, i recommend this book only to Adult (18+) readers.
I think societal pressure is one of the reason why people accept to be in these abusive relationships and marriages. Calling out a marriage or relationship is not very much accepted in our society. Because of which many people choose to stay in whatever hell they are.
Evie in this book is such a girl who gets into an abusive relationship and eventually gets married to him. But she makes a 'choice' to stay with him because she loved him( or thought so) also she didn't wanted her parents to know about it and become worried about the whole thing.
This book shows us "All that Glitters is not Gold". Never fall for people just for their sugar coated words if the person doesn't understand you or respect you. If at any point of time you feel it otherwise.

This is a saga of Evie, and her boyfriend Nathan.Evie a regular school going girl wants to do well in life through her academic leaves her home for her studies. But a single wrong choice can make your life worst. Same thing happened with Evie, when she faced the reality of nathan. And by every passing time she saw his true face but she was in an illusion of love which ended her up being married to a man who is now kicking, punching and abusing her beyond a limit. This saga is something different for me i really like it.
The author has picked a very asunder topic with a true faces of the partner. She hasn't keep her saga on the love story and kind of fairy tail. I love the way how she depicted all with just perfect narration. After reading this Story i am just thinking about those girls who are facing this kind of bad situation in their life. After reading this poem i made a promise to myself that i will Never be like Nathan and i will be very humble to every women.
Overall a very Genuine read. Everyone must read this once.

The protagonist, Evie, 17, meets Nathan at a birthday. It looked like she had a fairytale love story. She did had suspicions about Nathan but he would sweet talk her to get her back. The real problem came after they got married. Her happy love story was ruined into tortures and abuses. She didn’t realized before that hell was waiting for her. Read the book to know what happened thereafter.
Honestly, I loved the concept of the book. Not all love stories have a happy ending. You shouldn’t opt for this one if you have triggers for abuses. This book tells you how one wrong choice can end you life. Rating this 4.4 out of 5. Highly recommended.

I want to preface my review that there are triggers of abuse in regards to this book. Choices is a well-written book flowed very well. The book kept me engaged. There were moments I wanted to scream at both Nathan and Evie. This story is dark and intense, and at times, difficult to read. However, the author weaved a story that kept me interested. I am looking forward to more books by Nigama R. V.

What a book!! the intense story had me into it right from the beginning. Loved it so much though i wanted to hit Nathan every time his name comes up. Kudos to Nigama
