Honestamente no sé ni por donde comenzar, los protagonistas súper aburridos e insufribles 🙄. Iba a darle 2 estrellas pero leí el epílogo y pues NO

Ok esta es la historia de Weston "Wes" y Charlotte "Charlie" quienes han sido mejores amigos desde pequeños cuando tienen 16 deciden perder su virginidad juntos ya que prefieren que la primera vez sea con alguien que les importa, luego de esto Charlie siente que sus sentimientos hacia Wes cambiaron pero no quiere perderlo como amigo, por su parte Wes "siempre ha estado enamorado" de Charlie, pero justo después de estar juntos (minutos de hecho) conoce a Abigail y se enamora de ella 🙄🤦🏽‍♀️🤬 (hasta ahí le duró su amor) pasan los años y Wes y Abigail se comprometen, lo que lastima Charlie y después Wes quiere que Abigail sea la madre de sus hijos así que deciden tener un bebé peroooo poco después Abigail le dice que no está hecha para ser esposa/madre y los abandona, así que nuestra sufrida Charlie decide ayudar a Wes a superar ésta etapa, así pasan 6 años... Charlie consigue su trabajo soñado en NY y Wes se enoja con ella porque va a mudarse y a abandonarlo igual que hizo Abigail WTF!!!! Anyway el día que había se va, Wes la alcanza en el aeropuerto y le dice que siempre la ha amado y que ella es la única WTF X2 🤬🙄, ella se va y están en un tira y encoje; Charlie conoce un hombre pero siente que traiciona a Wes WTF X3 (el tipo no te quería nada o sea amiga date cuenta 🤷🏽‍♀️), Wes tiene un accidente laboral (es bombero), Charlie quiere estar con él así que regresa para confesarle su amor, pero Abigail también regresa (vas a seguir Abigail 🙄) ella besa a Wes y Charlie trata de dejarlo porque piensa que será como en el pasado cuando la eligió a ella (yo dije al finnn buscará a alguien que la valore PERO NO🤦🏽‍♀️) regresan otra vez y ahora sí son felices.

En el epílogo, narrado por Wes, vemos la boda de él y Charlie, el hermano de Wes le da los documentos que Abigail firmó renunciando a sus derechos con la niña, cuando Wes le pregunta a su hermano cómo lo logró, éste le dice que Abigail se fue porque lo había engañado y no sabía si la niña era de él o no, hace 1 año su hermano hizo una prueba de ADN y se dio cuenta que si era de Wes y por eso Abigail regresó 🤦🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️🙄🤬.

El segundo epílogo se da 5 años después y es narrado por Charlie, ahora a parte de Hadley tienen a JJ y esperan a otro bebé

Absolutely loved this book. Wes and Charlie were meant to be and they finally got their happy ending.

Abby tries to come back and sneak her way back in Wes’s life! NOT HAPPENING. if Charlie could help it.

This was a story on a series of mistakes and timings; Love is indeed about timing. I guess when you read it as a whole, the story was all about trying to make the right of all your past mistakes and getting your one who-got-away. And it could kinda suck to read, especially the game of tug-and-war between two best friends, who're juggling their feelings and trying to get their acts together. But, one thing I liked for sure was how the author wrote the h character. She was fierce inside, confidence, and knew for certain that she didn't want to settle as being 2nd best, in anything. Self-respect and self-love. The story was definitely tangled here and there and too-close-to reality for some complicated couples out there, but it was bittersweet and showed that if you determined, anything is possible.
