Whatever, Whenever was a really sweet second chance romance. Bryce, the single father, falls for Rashida, his recently divorced new neighbor. These characters and their issues are so relatable which, makes for an enjoyable storyline. I liked the emphasis on family and the everyday real-life problems most people face in real life. And, I absolutely loved how unproblematic this couple was. Y'all know I love me an angst free storyline. Whatever, Whenever my first book by Virgo Girl and, while it was a little too PG-13 for my taste, I still really enjoyed it. I’m looking forward to reading Dana and Angel’s stories.

Rashida x Bryce

This was such a mild mannered story. Rashida and Bryce had a somewhat meet cute. Rashida moved in across the street from Bryson. They quickly became friendly neighbors. Really, really good close friends, if you catch my drift. But they both came with baggages. Don't know which is worst out of their baggages. But, it's always some chick named Tracy who comes with the bullshït. This was very hallmark-y, a little early to mid 2000s chick-flicky. There wasn't too much cussing, the sex scenes were good, but not like what I've read before. The end of the story was a little condensed with the drama. But the drama wasn't too heavy. Overall, I enjoyed the story. This is my first read by Virgo Girl, and I will definitely read from her again, especially the other Powers girls.

I love this book so much🥰

This book was calling me & I’m so glad I read it. This was a restorative love for both Bryson & Rashida & their children🥺💜Bryson is a single father to his daughter KiKi. & Rashida is a newly divorced mother of Devin who moves in next door🥰. This book was soooosweet like there were multiple moments where I was crying happy tears. This is my first little collage and I tried to capture how the book made me feel and I shared some of my favorite parts/quotes from this book. I did not and I will not spoil the tea for y’all, but babyyyy the tea is piping hot!! I really enjoyed this read and I highly recommend it. I’m looking forward to reading the other two books in the Power Sisters series. *whispers: I already started the second book and it wasn’t on my TBR but it’s good to so it’s gonna to get READ🗣🤣

Very well written

Great story. I adored the love story of Bryce and Rashida. I love how the author included the children in the love story. First story by this author, as one Virgo to another I was highly impressed and can’t wait to binge read her catalogue.

meant to be

This was a beautiful read. The trials and tribulations people go through with ex’s. Then when kids are involved it can be a complete mess.
Bryce was a single father raising a daughter on his own after the mother went in the wind. He wasn’t thinking about dating and was focused on being a good dad. Rashida is a newly divorced mother of a son who just wants her ex husband drama and lies to come to an end and to move on with her life.
These two become new neighbors and the sparks fly and the chemistry is hot! The kids and the adults form a great bond. That ex of hers won’t let her be great with his community penis.
The way that they support each other, care for each other’s children and love on each other is beautiful. I also enjoyed the family and Angel sounds like my kind of sister!
Great read!

Amazing read

This was a very quick read to me. I really love Virgo Girl's writing as it feels like the reader and characters are having a conversation over coffee about their love lives.

The story of Bryce and Ra, well written. We read about their respective divorces and how they both handled it. Ra is admirable in how she handled a cheating spouse and moving on. Bryce and Ki Ki show us how the handle abandonment in a sensitive way and it's the advocating for her mental health at all points for her. The banter between Dev and Ki Ki was minimal but the little we saw showed how great of a friendship they had. This is how Black love should be written, no struggle love resides here

Another Good One!

Ms. Virgo Girl has a gift for bringing relatable characters to life. Rashida was my girl! She kept moving forward no matter the mess that came her way. Bryson on the other hand was a hot mess. Instead of always running his daughter in to see her counselor, he should have been getting some counseling himself. He eventually worked through his issues though and manned up for Rashida.

Loved this story. It was sweet and I really liked Bryce and Ra. Ra a newly divorced single mom and Bryce a single dad for 10yrs become neighbors and attraction starts right there when they meet. I like how they get to know each other and how the children play a part in this story. Definitely recommend. And yes I will be reading the other stories in this series soon.

This book was really cute and spicy! It kept my interest piqued the entire time. There was only one complaint I had about this read and is was the abrupt ending, but that was only because I wanted more! Great read and I definitely recommend!

This was a cute little love story. My only draw back was the drama seemed to resolve too quickly to be realistic, but I love the dynamic between the two main characters.

Success after major fail

I enjoyed the many ups and downs that speak to the authentic love exploration. If at first you don't succeed, heal and try again.

Whatever, Whenever had moments where I was vibing, but overall it landed right in the middle for me. The concept was relatable—modern dating, emotional detachment, and that “I’m cool, I don’t care… but maybe I do” energy. Very much giving situationship. Still, it’s a solid, quick read if you’re in the mood for something light, contemporary, and very “dating in this era is ghetto” coded. Not a bad book by any means, just not one that stayed with me long after the last page.
