Share My World was a sweet second chance romance. My heart kind of ached for Xander and Kalei because, their exes took them through it. Xander's fiancée left him at the alter for her son's father and Kalei's ex was only dating her to make his ex jealous. It only took her two years to figure that out. With all of that emotional drama, they are in dire need of a Summer vacay so Xander and Kalei head to Ocean City and, indirectly, reconnect with one another. Old feelings resurface and the two begin a Summer fling. Of course, a Summer fling can never just be a Summer fling because someone will eventually catch feelings and that someone was Xander. Poor Xander. His mommy issues made him a little bit sensitive and clingy. Having just gotten out of a relationship and dealing with her own issues with her dad, Kalei was nowhere near ready to start something serious. She realized that she needed to work on herself and her abandonment issues before she could start a new relationship. Rather than tell Xander this, she ghosts the poor man for three weeks then has the audacity to show up at his brother's gender reveal. Ballsy much?!!! I get that Kalei had some self exploring to do. I just didn't like the way she went about it. But, Xander being who he is, let her make it and he got his HEA. I would've liked an epilogue to see how their relationship progressed. Share My World was cuddly, sweet, and sexy. Read it. You won't be disappointed.

The only thing I regret is not reading this book on a beach or at a cottage on vacay

A fun, cute and quick read that does second chance romance right.

This book was the perfect summer/beach read! This follows Kalei and Xander who first met the summer before college in Ocean City. They became friends and quickly developed true feelings for each other. However, something happens and they lose touch and as a result never talk again. That is until Kalei and Xander both plan to stay in Ocean City for a couple of months after both experiencing heartache.

I absolutely LOVED this novella! It’s one of the best second chance romances I’ve read. Kalei and Xander truly have such an amazing romance filled with passion, admiration, friendship and love. I adored Xander he is definitely a new favorite book boyfriend. I loved how open and honest he was with his feelings. He is a hopeless romantic and isn’t afraid to express his feelings. Kalei was such a great character and I loved what she did for her career.

I love that both of these characters were able to heal and find comfort and love in each other after everything they’ve gone through in their lives. I also loved how mature these characters were it was so refreshing! This story was very believable and I was so amazed at how D. Rose developed these characters in such a short amount of time. I will absolutely be reading more from this author. You have to read this if you are in the mood for a fun, light hearted, swoony summer read!

A summer romance to remember.

Share My World is a romance that reconnect two people who once were teenage flings. They lost contact and each othem went on with their lives. Years later, they meet again in the same little beach town and things start over. Xander and Kalei have so many baggage but D. Rose beautifully creates a tale of second chances and working through everything before starting a new relationship again.

Xander's family is so adorable. Xander's brother, Mac, and Mac's wife, Bella and their little girl Kennedi. Xander and Kennedi had the cutest relationship and you could see how much fun they had together. They were best friends!!! They made pancakes together for breakfast and played together at the beach. Imagine Xander having his own kid, I seriously!!! He would be adorable.

I really need everyone to read this book!! I adore the cover and it really shows a perfect picture of how the book will develop. All summer-y activities, warm date nights eating ice cream and seafood, and a romance that is both steamy and caring.

Upon picking this up, I was not sure whether or not I would like it, but since it was a novella, I gave it a shot. And I am glad I did. This was a sweet read, despite the pain the two protagonists, Kalei and Xander, experienced before finding their way back to each other.

Although this was less than 150 pages, the story did not feel rushed and the characters felt developed. I felt as though I could connect with both Kalei and Xander and was invested in them making things work. I did get a bit annoyed with some of the ghosting that occurred in the later half of the story, but I could understand why, given what they have gone through.

I think this book could also work if it was expanded to a full length novel or into a series; I was interested in how Xander would be able to repair his relationship with his mother, as well as how Kalei would mend her relationship with her dad. These dynamics definitely have room to be explored further. Basically, I just want more time with Kalei and Xander.

This couple deserved a third chance!

A second chance at love is a nice thing- but this one could have gotten a third maybe even a fourth. It is nice to see a man be the right amount of goodness for his lady. The tale was soft, cuddly, sweet sexy, with a beautiful couple showing us it's okay to love again.

Heartwarming!

This was a lovely story that showcased a second chance for two people who deserved to find love after previously being unsuccessful with others who weren't deserving of them. Glad they were able to figure it out in the end.

Swoony Second Chance

Second chance at romance after meeting at the same beach in high school and reconnecting after so many years and after both of them got out of failed relationships. This made equal parts the angst chemistry worth it when paired with them sorting out their baggage and the sweet moments that happened between them.

Kalei and Xander

This was a very emotional story. It’s about two people who’ve lost a parental figure and also a partner and step child. TW for loss of a parent and grief.

Kalei had no relationship with her parents but lost her grandmother at fifteen who raised her. She recently got out of a relationship and was the step mom to his child who she adores. Xander lost his father four years ago and had no relationship with his mother. He was engaged but was left at the alter three months ago and had to find out via a note that his fiancé cheated on him, on top of that, he wasn’t aloud to see his step son again who he was happy to raise. He decided to go on what would have been their honeymoon anyway to his fathers beach home where he hasn’t been to in a long time since his fathers death.

So, lots of loss in this book. The tropes are, childhood friends to lovers, though they only spent the summer together 10 years ago as teens, and close proximity. It’s a heartfelt summer read that’s not joyous but more emotional.

Deserving

Xander and Kalei both deserve all of the love they can muster up between the two. They both had enough hurt, grief, and disappointment for a lifetime. It was good they had built the foundation of love from their teenage years because it allowed them to blossom into their adult relationship.

I loved the relationship Xander and Malcolm had, they were true brothers. They were thick as thieves. Kennedi was literally Xander niece and best friend it was cute. I always love the personality of kids because they are straight shooters. They do not know how to just let you down easily.

Mrs. Rose your books are always mellow to me like they are calm and peaceful. I like how you get that riding out in the sunset, happily ever after feeling once the book is over. It was a great story looking forward to your next book.

My heart went out to Xander and Kalei, as they had gone through so much in their lives. The two of them being in Ocean City, at the same time was a God send. They both needed time in a place where they felt the love of family that is no longer with them. Reconnecting brought memories rushing back for both of them, as well as creating new ones. Being able to bond over the relationships that had just dissolved, was freeing and helped them both heal. Love was creeping back into their hearts, and both of them didn't quite know how to deal. Although Xander was willing and very upfront with his feelings and desires, Kalei was afraid to put herself out there again. Love wins again! This connection was so genuine and pure to not go the distance. Great read!

But how?

Second chances are blessings to rewrite a ending. Throughout this story I kept feeling like something was missing. Like why did Sammi cheat on Xander? Why did she jilt him at the alter instead of breaking up? Why was Jeremy so obsessed with his ex? How did Kaylei not see that? And then how did Kaylei and Xander get to the lust stage. I read the entire book but those questions where unanswered. More development is required for both of them to give their story to completion..like how did they move forward?

Fated Love

I like how Xander and Kalei had so much in common and how they reconnected to help heal each other through their past hurts. I like how Donavan met Kalei's terms to do counseling to repair their father daughter relationship and that Xander and Malcolm were open to give Olivia another chance at a mother sons relationship as well. I wanted and Epilogue to see what happened next with Xander and Kalei though.

This is a second chance romance for a couple who met as teenagers at the beach and then reconnected years later. The book deals well with issues like grief and how cheating has a painful effect on family dynamics (no cheating by the hero or heroine though!). Both the hero and heroine had relationships fall through, losing stepchildren-to-be in the process. It's a sweet story with some quick, steamy scenes. Lovely book about love and life and second chance romance.

The tone of the book was depressing!

Wow, pushing through this book was like eating a sandwich with no condiments just dry. The overtone of the whole book was sad. I felt sad. At no point while reading this book did I feel a lightness. Just two depressed individuals. Definitely a thumbs down.👎🏾

Love story

Kay needed someone to help her get thru the break ups she's had with life period. X was the charm she's needed since they were teenagers ten yrs ago. He had been thru allot and so had she so they both saw solace in one another finally.

Sweet second chance

Kalei and Xander, sometimes it’s when you’re not looking that you find exactly what you need. Both had been dealt unfair hands in the love dept and they were friends as teens that made unkept promises. Luckily, life or fate gave them another chance.

I've always enjoyed the second chance trope, but I truly appreciated the personal background story for Xander and Kay and how they both dealt with heartbreak in a different way. I really loved how vulnerable Xander was but still clear about what he wants, my kinda hero 💖💖A good summer read~

this one kinda hit close to home in a few ways and got all me all nostalgic. There were so many things I loved! I just really wish we could've gotten an epilogue. I like the note it ended on because it suited them but I definitely wanted a little sneak peak into their future.

Kay & X

A very sweet second chance. Sometimes we are fighting our own issues that we don’t know exist. And was so happy Kay was Xander’s peace even though she needed saving too.

I enjoyed this story. Short and to the point. X and Kalei had gone through so much of the same things in previous relationships. It was crazy. I got what I wanted in the end lol.
