Another great book to the series ! This is Devon and Lana's story. The author once again brings a cast of strong,well developed characters and takes you on an action packed journey filled with drama and danger,suspense and intrigue along with a steamy chemistry that can't and won't be denied. It's another well written book with an entertaining story line. Loved it and would highly recommend this book/series.

Another bullseye for Romi Hart ,,,,
Devon "Hall" gets out of his car and looks at all the motorcycles and all the people milling about as he walks into the clubhouse of the Devil's Flame MC,, right before he gets stopped by this tall, bulky gentleman,,,, Devon says he would like to talk to Corey Logan and tells them some bogus story until he sees Corey,,,, Corey Logan is the Prez of the Devil's Flame MC and Devon has come to Corey cuz it's the only option he has left or as he sees anyway ,,,, Devon explains to Corey that he is his half brother. ,,,, They have the same father ...., Corey really isn't all that surprised with the explanation ,,, you see, Corey's parents were still together many years later, except Corey and his mom were use to his dad disappearing every now and again,,,, and his mom knew he went to another woman if not another family whenever he disappeared ,,,, Devon had given the MC crew his mother's last name so he could get in to talk to Corey ,,,, Devon's mother raised him with his grandparents funded college and all the expensive things he depended on for years including the BMW he drives ,,,,, he's the product of his mother, Miranda Hall and their father Michael Logan,,,, right there on the official copy of the birth certificate, with Devon's last name is "Logan",,,,, but, this didnt surprise Corey ,,,, Devon told Corey their father, whom was a Devil's Flame, always told him of the way of the MC, and how family always helped family ,,,,Devon told Corey their father died a couple of years ago, then the grandparents died last October one right after the other and his mother had a car accident and died last week and the funeral was 2 days ago ,,,, Corey told him that the birth certificate says they're brothers so he has a place at the club ,,,, he will not be given any special treatment, his car will be sold at auction and will Devon will be given a motorcycle with a little money in Devon's pocket ,,,, he will be fronted a cut but will be a "Prospect" just like anybody else and he will be given a job somewhere within one of the organizations the club owns,,,, as long as he pulls his own weight, he's got a place in the Devil's Flame MC ,,,,,, Devon agrees to it all,,,, but he knows he wont fit in,,, he's just not like the others ,,,,,
Lana Mark's 22, walks into the busy hospital watching all the doctors, nurses and everyone else going around with something to do and someplace to go ,,,, Lana is looking around the emergency room until she finds the woman she's looking for ,,,, Leigh ,,,,,,, Leigh 26, is her sister whom is not very impressed to see her ,,, Leigh the RN, puts her in the breakroom and says she will be back and they will talk,,,, Leigh comes back and talks Lana to talk fast as her break is only so long ,,,, Lana tells her she's broken up with her latest "boyfriend" ,,,, She says Daniel hit her and she left ,,,, Leigh tells her to call mom and dad, but nobody is helping her anymore and Leigh "the biker chic" is her last hope ,,,, so, Leigh says she needs to talk to her husband, Zeke and to meet her at the clubhouse later ,,, Leigh finds Lana at the MC clubhouse later, the woman whom is sitting at the bar who doesn't fit in, at all,,,,, says her and Zeke will put her up until she can get on her feet ,,,, and there are rules,,,, no picking up men, try being single,,,, they will find her a job in one of the businesses the club owns,,, she is to go to work and no flaking off to go elsewhere ,,, and several other rules ,,,,, Lana agrees with all of Leigh and Zeke's rules and she's finishing her drink and about to leave when she sees this biker looking her over,,,,, well, Lana knows she's never going to be with any of "those biker" boys ,,, and Leigh did say no boyfriends,,,,,, but Lana has needs ,,,,, and since it will only be one time ,,,,,
Ok,,,, I gave you the beginning of who is who between Devon and Lana ,,,, everything and everybody else you need to figure out yourself ,,,, this is the 7th book of the Devil's Flame MC series from the incredible author, Romi Hart ,,,, this series is the total series you really should read ,,,, and I believe there are more books in this series to come soon,,, I simply cannot wait ,,,, there are action, adventure and some sticky hot scenes in between,,, so, I would so totally recommend this series to everyone,,,, and even if you can read each book as a standalone,,, trust me when I say you will enjoy them more if you read the series starting on #1 Rafe ,,,, I got this ARC voluntarily to leave an honest review

New beginnings
Devon (Devil's Flame MC Book 7) by Romi Hart is a well written MC romance with more emphasis on the romance and a bit less on the MC. Don't get me wrong, this is still totally a MC romance! Devon is new to the MC and so we get a look at what it's like as a prospect versus all the responsibility of previous characters in this series. Devon is just as rough, tough and alpha protective as any MC hero should be. Lana on the other hand is just figuring out who she is.
The plot of Devon's book is straightforward with a bit of shifting attitudes and self-reflection revelations. Devon and Lana together are combustible and burn up the pages. I also found this book to be sweet in that despite how these two characters start, encounter obstacles, and need to grow up and into their new beginnings - it's clear they are meant to be as they get to know one another. So yes, this book in the series is not chock full of action, but it's captivating and interesting for the characters themselves as they become accustomed to the MC life, each other and the MC family.
Overall, a very well written and engaging MC romance that is heavy of the relationships, romance and working on supporting each other's new beginning individually and together for a HEA.

Paths in life are arduous so to say crossroads are difficult to work, especially if the other idiots didn't go to driving school 101. Loosing everything by a death is hard . Having to go tell someone that their entire life had been a lie one word "shattering" As Devon is preparing to jump into the brimestone & flames ; w/just a long lost honor code that may depend on that new world to take you in. Still he has to prove he's got enough have to get the ,stitching something he doesn't & don't sees then in walks hell in heels going zero to HEAVEN or DAMNATION. Lana not here because this is a dump . She is broke, homeless but so above these asphalt punky predators. But one just seems to call her out on her drama. She does the same.. yes sexual chemistry is there who would not want a ride on a thunderous vibrating motor. Oh yes holding on to the guy is awesome too . Yet can too paths actually meet? Are they more than occasional booty calls? As we keep on moving along Romi Hart seems to have..hear Hart on these "love pulse line" of the MC Devil Flames ; if you are like me I certainly haven't lost my lustful imagination over them yet. So I ask you just to give me your trust. I'd start from the beginning of the series w/1 ... Yet you are good if you don't to , do to how they all stand on their own and have hea...

Lost Family
Lost brother not in the MC life getting his foothold with his half-brother who happens to be the President of a powerful MC.
Lost sister who's made another bad choice in men who begs her older reliable sister for help. Her older sister just happens to be married to the VP of the same MC.
Rules for both of them were supposed to be so they could get back on their feet but instant attraction has them breaking all the rules.
As much as both try to avoid the other their connection and fate keep pulling them back together to the disdain of their families.
Their relationship progresses faster than that of their siblings so they are discouraged by family from moving so quickly into serious situations. They ignore the caution and continue to build their relationship but find a way to help each other prove to the opposite siblings that they are able to stand on their own.
This installation was a lot slower to get into than the rest of this series. The relationship depicted isn't as detailed as the others. The sex scenes are still hot, just seems to miss some of the teasing and anticipation of the other episodes.
It's still a good book to pick up because it gives more background into the characters from the original installments.

Oh my word we find out some interesting information in this book. So lets meet Devon, who happens to be Corey's half brother. What the heck? Yeah and he is just as good looking. Devon decided to meet his brother because he has nothing left and needs to start somewhere. So once he is settled he notices why the club was important to his father and brother. He wants in and does not expect any special treatment. Well then he meets Lana at the clubhouse and she is starting off on her own too. She sees Devon and can't get his face out of her head. They clash like huge and you can see the tension just roll off of them. These two really need to get their feet under them after uprooting their life. Lana seems to have an issue with the mc. She also has to adhere to the stipulations that her sister put in place. Now Lana is Leigh sister so that means that she is off limits. Well Devon learns the hard way. These two push each other and it is funny. I love the way they fall for each other. It is another good story to add to the series.

Corey isn't sure that Devon belongs with the MC but he is out to prove that should be his new home now that he has lost his mother and he will do whatever he needs to in an effort to prove himself Maybe falling for a woman that is totally off limits isn't the way to go about it but when Devon meets Lana as sister to one of the old ladies he is a gonner Will it destroy his relationship with his brother and the club Will Lana face her past and become the woman she is meant to be and can they have a future together You will have top read to see

Find themselves
It's a simple romance, very well written, which is essentially focused on the fact that the two heroes, Lana and Devon have to discover themselves to be able to move forward because they are both coming out of a difficult part in their life, and the biker club is the only place that could allow them to get up thanks to their famillies who are already there.
However, they meet in this context, and all those around them push them not to get close because they think they are immature, too fragile or have not yet earned their trust. They must therefore not only build themselves, but also their relationship, when their first meeting is a fireworks of rejection of one and the other.

I loved Devon and Lana’s story!
After the death of Devon’s mother he went to his half- brother Corey, the president of the Devil’s Flame MC. He needed a place to belong. He found the right place. He never expected to find a girl, but that’s what happened when he saw Lana. Although they had a rocky start they kept trying. No one wanted them together, so they had to fight for each other. This was a well written story filled with action, suspense, drama, danger, intrigue, mystery and a whole lot of romance! It made for a very entertaining read! I loved it! I can’t wait for Rocky the 8th book in the Devil’s Flame MC series!

A great MC romance read
Lana, spoiled rich girl, just got out of a relationship and had to crawl to her sister for help, where she encountered Devon, previously unknown brother to Corey, at the Devil’s Flames clubhouse. As the story progresses they both have things to work on, choices are made for them not necessarily with them, and a chance to prove to themselves they can survive is important to their future. Romi Hart’s Devon is a great MC romance read. I am still holding out hope for Rocky to get his own book.

This is Devon's story. After his mother passes away, Devon is all alone with no family left at all. His father was Michael, head of the Devil's Flame MC Club. Now both his mother and father have passed, he heads to the headquarters of the club. The current head of the club is his half-brother. Lana is the sister of one of the old ladies of the club. Throughout her life, Lana has thrown away every opportunity that came her way. Now she has nowhere to go except to ask for help from her sister. These two lost souls, Devon and Lana, have a hard road ahead. What a wonderful story. Lana really did annoy me at times with her demands, but all turns out right in the end.

Devon lived a regular life until his life was upturned after his mother’s death, which meant he had to seek out Corey. Lana had no choice but to run to her sister when her life became unbearable. Devon and Lana’s first meeting was antagonistic, but they soon realised there was no chance of running away from what meant to be. Their up and down, made this storyline that you will definitely want to include on your weekend reading list. I was unable to put it down once I started reading it.

A great story
I have to admit that I really didn't like Lana for a majority of this book. I like women who are strong, independent, etc, but I really don't like when people are opinionated about things that they have absolutely no understanding of. I hate it when others look down on anyone or anything, for any reason, but especially when they think they're better than everyone else. Towards the end it got better, and I'm glad that everything worked out for them. Devon was a big surprise, and I think that he'll be a great asset to the club.

Devon and Lana's story is touching. Devon is alone now that his parents are gone so he goes to stay with his half-brother. There he meets Lana who is basking in her own misery. They connect on a level where they recognize that they can identify with the other when it comes to being lost without knowing what is next in their lives. Can two lost individuals bring about a change that will take them to the next step in their lives? I voluntarily agreed to receive an ARC of this book for an honest review.

This is the 7th book in the series and it can be read as a stand-alone. When Devon’s mother dies, he goes to his half-brother Corey. He wants to stay with the MC and get to know his brother, who is president. When Devon sees Lana, sparks fly, but the MC doesn’t want them together, will they move forward anyway? Fast-paced read with plenty of drama, suspense and steam. Great characters and an entertaining story. I liked it.

I loved this book, because although is a MC book, is first romance book and then an MC story. This is Devon's story and what happens to him, after he loses his mother and he is left with no family. Devon is new to the whole MC life, he just whants a chance to make it in life when he founds himself orfan and with his mother debth to pay. Lana is in a similar situation, she left her boyfriend that suported her and had to ask for help to her sister. They both start working for the MC and have a lot to prove. Will the situation they are unite them or divide them? An easy read.

It is always nice when one finds a series where the characters are built well and the stories are good with each one being different. Even though this is the story of Devon &Lana, we still get to see what is happening with the other Flames members.

Pretty bad
I've read a lot of Romi Hart's books and have enjoyed them but this one was just bad. The writing itself wasn't bad, but the 2 main characters were incredibly whiny - the heroine especially. I forced myself to read 1\2 of it, but I couldn't make myself finish it. The heroine was just too super annoying and unlikable :(

Enjoyable but needs more action
I wanted more from this book. I get the Romeo and Juliet story line, but I expected more actions with regard to the EX. I think it lacked the thrill. I did enjoy the book. I just wanted a little more.

Love it!
Love this story!! Devon and Lana both trying to find their way also find each other. I love the way they fall in love. I recommend reading this book. This is my first in the series going to go back and forward or the other way.
