Annoyingly Obvious
Tradition is nothing to be laughed at. You follow the rules or you pay the price. That is how Travis, Boogie, and Becca have lived for almost a decade. Travis is fully aware of the side glances, little touches, and painfully cheesy inside jokes between Boogie and Becca; even if the odd pair don't notice it themselves. These seemingly arbitrary rules make life interesting and help keep the status quo. No need to change a perfect living situation. Why make things complicated?
When a new artist comes to town and asks to use a chair for a month Becca can't help but fall for his charm, talent, and good looks. Floyd Perry is quick to sweep her off her feet and then offer her a job, hundreds of miles away. It's the offer of a lifetime, but she hesitates to answer when she realizes how many things she'll lose.
Boogie has loved Becca since the first time he watched her pick up a tattoo machine. She was the full package. Hot, talented, and nerdy. Despite both parties being determined to remain only friends, he can't help but want more. Boogie sees that his window is closing and doesn't know how to feel about it. Should he break the rules and try to win Becca's heart, or let her fly?

Tylor Paige

Tylor is proof that horror doesn’t have to be serious to be effective. It can be self-aware, playful, and at times romantic, while still telling a solid scary story. In blending her passions for both romance and horror she’s not only creating something that’s both risqué and bloody, she’s bridging the gap between the hopelessly romantic and the hopelessly haunted.

Becca's path to discovering her true love is an enjoyable read. Her journey is predictable based on the title of the book but that doesn't take away from the journey she takes to get there. The relationships with her roommates and her self discovery make this an entertaining and the story is a nice escape from the daily grind.
I would read another of Tylor Paige's stories when looking for a light evening read.
