The Father Daughter Talk: The Most Important Conversation of Your Life

Rate this book
The FATHER DAUGHTER TALK is the response of a father and pastor to what has become a generation of credulous women. Many women are conditioned and manipulated by a perverted male society and are relegated to acquiescing to positions of sexual objectivity. The premise is that because the presence of functional fathers is less and less, today, young girls are growing into womanhood without the benefits of having had a father’s guidance and instruction. No one has taught them about how to live in a male dominated society. Since this is the case, women are learning many of the vital lessons through trial and error as opposed to the safety of paternal instruction. When a woman learns certain life lessons through experience, which she should have simply been taught by her father, it leaves her broken and bitter in most cases. The Father Daughter Talk addresses, in detail, a series of subjects that every daughter should have had the benefit of learning at the feet of a caring, protective and loving father. The Father Daughter Talk subsidizes the lack of fatherly guidance in the lives of many young women who need answers to the many questions relative to social and relational pitfalls. It addresses the importance of a woman dressing herself to reflect values and character. It deals with the tragedy of a woman using her body, sexually, as a means to generate love. It discusses, in language that only a father would use, the tricks of men and the games they play. The Father Daughter Talk is a candid, direct and passionate discourse of a father attempting to educate his daughters to the snares of society and how to live as Christian women in a godless culture

Well, I wish all young ladies could read this before they commit to a man. Those who grew up without a father or a reliable father figure must need read this. First and foremost, you need to work on yourself. What about your goals and dreams? What is it that you were born for? Are you proud of what you have accomplished so far? Are you content and happy with yourself in exclusion of any person or a prospect for that matter? Beside the fact that a confident and self-sufficient woman is attractive in itself, this achievement gives you a perspective when deciding whether you should or not embark in a relationship with a man---who obviously should enhance you as you would him. Finally sister, every man is a cheater and a player by default and should be handled with appropriate care and tact pending any evidence to the contrary.

A Must Read...Wisdom I wished I'd known.

This book is full of wisdom. Much wise counseling for women who really want the truth of what we should have been taught. I felt as though Bishop was talking directly to me as one of his daughters while reading. I am forever grateful for you being willing to share your wisdom with us. As I'm being groomed by GOD to know the difference, HE sent your book my way. May GOD continue to richly bless you like only HE can and will. Blessings on blessings on blessings!!!

Ps. Let it be know that we should not fault our fathers as they may not have known this much wisdom to teach us. Thankful GOD placed it in Bishop Blake's, Jr. 🤩🤗❤️

Good Mama Advice

My Mama shared this advice with me decades ago. The timeless truths and lessons she taught me still guide my life. She is the reason this book gets 5 stars, instead of 4. Lol! Nonetheless, I appreciate getting advice like this from men, especially those who choose to tell the truth about themselves. Though this is certainly not true of all men, some men choose to be untrustworthy gamers. I pray for more women to let men know we don't have time for that foolishness. This book is a kind wake-up call for those who choose to walk in truth.

Hard but well needed advice

The book was what I needed to hear from my own father but didn't. It's never too late to take to heart R.C.'s message.
The material was easy to read and presented like a heart to heart conversation.
I would have preferred if the Bible version used was in simple modern English.
I recommend this book to women of all ages, fathers and mothers too.

The conversation I never had. Some "truth hurts" statements & some advice I disagree with *how a woman should always be dressed* But overall this is the talk had I received twenty years ago; would have saved me from a lot of devaluing experiences with men.

This is a book that every woman needs to read. It is filled with valuable wisdom as it pertains to relationship. I saw myself and some of my experiences in this book. It even helped me pinpoint why I made some of the foolish choices I have made in the past. This is a must have.
