As Scarlet welcomes Thomas back from America, their new relationship continues to blossom. Primary character, Scarlet, changed markedly from first book. Became a simpering, whimpering, guilt-ridden victim of her own misbegotten ways. Thomas is a deadly dull character. Read first book in series so that you know what's going-on. I shan't be reading the third installment. I do not enjoy the "new" Scarlet, nor her boringly, unfunny, stiff paramour.
