My name is Ember, daughter of Tank. There's only one dream I have in life, and that is to write songs and hear someone out there singing them, famous or not. What I didn't expect to find was Marco Russo, lead singer of Dun's Dungeon. He's a man whore of the worst kind, yet I see something in him that no one else does - a broken man who needs a friend. The only trouble is, I feel something for Marco that I shouldn't. I'm fresh out of a bad relationship, and starting something new with someone new can only lead to disaster. Life out on the road isn't all it's cracked up to be; famous people aren't all they're cracked up to be. Touring with Dun's Dungeon brings problems I've never encountered. I only hope that I can find my way out of them without Snakes Henchmen getting involved. Wishful thinking? Without a doubt...

I will say I was blown away by this book. Alivia Grayson is a such a multifaceted author. She knows how to write hardcore bikers to loving and forgiving women. I am usually not one for the "rockstar" genre, but Alivia is one of my favorite authors so I just had to see how she was going to make me fall in love with these characters. I will say she did an amazing job pulling me in and keeping me invested in their story.
There is so much emotion that is written within these pages that you can not help but feel each and every emotion. Ember is a beautiful soul that takes everything in stride and is way to nice for her own good. She experiences a horrible betrayal, but refuses to let it define who she is. She picks herself up and decides she is going to follow her heart and her dreams. Marco is skating through life living the way he wants until he meets our beautiful Ember. The two of them together piece each other back together. They are perfect for each other and they lift each other up to be the best people that they can be.

What a fantastic book to kick off this new series this arthur is writing. I absolutely fell in love with Ember and with Marco after he redeemed himself he better have or Tank would've stomped his behind. If you've read her Snakes Henchmen series this is Tank and Nova's lil girl all grown up who has a musical talent of writing, singing and playing instrument's has just been offered to go on tour with her friend Colin's band Dun's Dungeons a opportunity of a lifetime right when she needs it or them the most.
Marco is the lead singer of Dun's Dungeon and a rock god to the groupies of women and the drugs and alcohol he's got it made, but he's not happy ever since he and his girlfriend broke up last year and he thinks with Ember they'll put Dun's Dugeon on the map. What he doesn't expect is Ember and falling for her he just has to convince her he's serious and not just looking for a girl to warm his bed while on tour.
I'd highly recommend picking this one up. I can't wait for book 2 in this series.

Wish I could give this one a 100 STARS

This book was freaking good. I know it's supposed to be an MC read but this is full on RockStar!! And I'm telling you Alivia did such an amazing job with this one.
The storyline flows brilliantly, hot sex scenes, made me cry 😢, and made me cheer. All these emotions this book brought out of myself was such a roller coaster ride. So hang on readers your in for a wild ride.
The meaning behind Beautiful Me.....tears I'm telling you.
Ember and Marco equals destiny.
I can't wait to see what this author brings us next. She's definitely a one-click author for myself....so bring it.
I highly recommend this book and series.

Ember is a tragic, heartbreaking, emotional, devastatingly beautiful book. Ember and Marco's story is gut wrenching and has so much heartache but is a true telling of how great things can be born of horrible things. This Author poured everything into this book and it certainly shows. Ember and Marco both had their fair share of hurt from their previous partners but when they met something clicked between them and as hard as they fought it love won. They don't have an easy road but the love they have for each other is so strong and it's because of that love that they know they can survive anything. This is definitely so much more than a 5 star read.

I was given an ARC for an honest review. This book was not what I was expecting from Alivia Grayson. I have read ALL her books and love the Snake Henchman series both original and the next generation. If you are expecting a full on MC read like her previous books this is not it. This one is even better than any of her other books and that is truly saying something. Alivia has this way of hooking you in from start to finish. I look forward to her next release and can't wait to see where she takes us next.

Pain love and forgiveness

Ember and Marco's story was so different but in a good way.
Both lovers of music, both betrayed by the ones they loved.
Marco a man whore, Ember was betrayed by her best friend.
The author wrote a beautiful love story while still showing the readers Snakes Henchman MC is still front and centre.

I have not read anything from this author. Really liked her book. Will see if her other books are as good.
