Wicked Blaze Correctional has fallen, and along with it, my chance to take revenge against Drake for Clara’s death. For now. Mark my words, though, he would suffer at my hands. It was only a matter of when. Instead of burying my hand in his chest cavity and removing his heart, I was making my way through an unknown realm with my men. A realm that we were finding featured terrifying bloodthirsty creatures and even more dangerous magic users. Something I hadn’t thought was possible, considering the men I was with. My human, mage, wolf, fox, magic eater, and I were in survival mode. That was the only way to make it day to day here and despite the serious nature of our situation, I was finding the natural connection between the six of us was only growing stronger as we went from being prisoners into something a lot more vicious. A lot more savage. But what happens when we are captured again? This time not by a prison but the cannibalistic village of Feòil. Let’s just say, I am really hoping that the magic I garnered from that supposedly 'special' stone at Wicked Blaze was going to make an explosive appearance or else we were landing ourselves on the menu. I may have been confused on what we were going to do next, besides finding Drake, but I knew I didn’t want to die. I knew there was more to my life than being eaten alive after escaping one of the most dangerous prisons in all of the realms. The more time I explored this realm though? The more I’ve come to realize that this land may not be as unfamiliar as I assumed. The more I realize that there may be things about my life that I’d previously forgotten. Let’s just hope that while we were evading Wicked Blaze, we weren’t landing ourselves in a far more dangerous situation.
Evading Wicked Blaze is Book 2 of The Wronged series. This trilogy will be a fast burn reverse harem filled with dark subject matters, a strong FMC, and insane men. Follow Valentina and her men on a journey filled with revenge, steam, and strong characters that don’t fit the norm of society. A bit crazy? That is just their normal.
This Fantasy medium/fast burn RH contains several dark themes that readers should be aware of: swearing (I know surprising, right?), gore, violence, assault, and sexual themes suitable for +18. Additionally, this book does have mature light m/m themes that develop over time. This will end on a cliffhanger! Book 3 is already up for pre-order.

Just remember to love cats... that's not negotiable.
Evading Wicked Blaze is the second installment to this series. Even though this was shorter than the previous book, I was still really eager to get revenge on Drake. It's just going to happen but I didn't know when. I also really liked getting to know more about Val's past and potentially finding another mate for her. Then there's the whole memory loss thing that really irked me and I just wanted answers.
Ever since we found out Val's sister died at Drakes hands, I just wanted to see this guy pay for all the damage he caused. So the entire book I just kept hoping that the next chapter would give me a tiny glimpse of it happening. It didn't - which, yes, kind of disappointed me but also made me excited to dive into the next and final book.
Other than that, I am loving all the romancing blooming between her and the guys. I also really wanted her to acknowledged her love for them because hot damn - she did but never said it. Eventually the words came out of her mouth but I waited way too long for that to actually happen.
In the end, secrets are coming out to play and I just want more information. Also revenge please.
Valentina and her psychotic men, Dimitri, Vaughn, Francisco, Milo, and West...going to the flame again. I have never love a series with a cliffhanger waiting around the corner as I usually wait for the series to be completed but this series is worth all the torture M. Sinclair made me go through...I have read she book 1 and 2 continuously so I cannot even imagine the wait people had to endure for this one after the mind-blowing cliffhanger from the first book...
This book started from the same scene where it left off with more new secondary characters and thrilling action packed situations. The things they have to endured was at times so difficult but also entertaining. The suspense building in the background was so great...it left me wanting for more and more.
But I want to warn you guys that the cliffhanger here will prompt you pull your hairs out and I know the wait for book 3 will be a torturous one... Thank you for your review.
A pretty good 2nd book in a typical RH paranormal romance. I really do love the dark aspect of the story and that the female main character is not a good girl.
For the most part it was pretty original and also it was a little predictable. I already knew that she of course was going to be some kind of lost princess. I do like the addition of Brody and I hope he plays an important role in the next book.
This wasn't as good as the first one. Something about her internal narrative felt really repetitive and juvenile ... which definitely didn't feel the same way to me in book 1.
I still enjoyed it, but it was less super awesome, and more standard RH stuff. We even lost the wild psychopathy of the guys in this one.
I enjoy reading Valentina's journey with her possessive men Dimitri, Vaughn, Francisco, Milo, and West. To say that I am excited for Book 3 is an understatement as I am very intrigued by Brody and the role he will play in the next book of this series, especially after what has been revealed at the ending of Evading Wicked Blaze. Now go read it to find out what all happens in Evading Wicked Blaze! :D
My goodness. This book, like most of her books, is a A LOT of internal monolog. We're talking chapters of it. This book basically had 4 chapters of actual action and 10 of each characters inner yapping. Generally I skim these parts no problem. This book frustrated me to no end as I just kept skimming and skimming hoping for something to happen..which we don't really get until the very last few pages.
2 Stars Not sure if I’ll continue the series. Shame bc I enjoy the characters & world. It’s the plot that causes me a serious case of déjà vu. I believe it mirrors a series I’ve previously read but can’t manage to recall the series’s name… it’s so strong a feeling it diminished my enjoyment while reading this book.
I love that I had no idea where this story was heading or who/what Valentina is. Like all M. Sinclair books, I love her lovely possessive men! I was on the edge of my seat waiting for answers and I was not disappointed. Looking forward to the next book!
I couldn't finish. I'm not sure what happened to this read but it's a far cry from the first book. Let's start by how much this book is pretty much only inner thoughts, and looking back at memories. I found myself skimming and waiting for something, anything really to happen. And when we finally get to some action it's a bit to head scratching for me, like " wait what "?? Not impressed
So I got to roughly 20% before I gave up. I had high hopes for the second book after the high of the first book. This book picks up after the escape and destruction of the prison. However, we get chapter after chapter of inner dialogue about the feelings of each character with minimal plot development or external conversations. I am good with inner dialugue, but not chapter after chapter. It dragged the story on and on...
I love Valentina and her men!! They go from a prison they accidentally or on purpose, not sure which..lol, blew up, right into a cannibal village, which they are going to be the main course!! They of course get out of that..no spoilers. That ending, Wow!! M, I love everything that you write!!! 5 stars!!!
overall, this was a great continuation to the series. i’m not usually a fan of fast burn, but i liked how in this series fast burn doesn’t equal insta love.
the first 12 percent or so of this book was internal dialogue from the fmc, which made it hard to get through at first, but it quickly picked up from there once we got into the action.
m sinclair has so many books out and so many current projects set to release, but she always does an amazing job keeping the story lines separate. while obviously you’re going to find some similarities, all of the guys and fmcs are unique and each book contains brand new, one of a kind material.
i really like how while confident in herself, Val doesn’t know what the hell is going on half of the time and owns it. she doesn’t make stupid decisions, she trusts her gut, and she has enough curiosity without being tstl.
i also really like the guys. i don’t know how M does it, but she always manages to make her male characters distinct. she’s one of the only authors i can read with big harems because i don’t get them all confused or mixed up, and their individual personalities really stand out.
all in all, it was a good read and i’m looking forward to the final book.
This is the second book in the wrong series. M Sinclair has really taken us on an amazing journey. The story pulls you in, picking up where the first left off. The twists, turns, and character interactions really keep your attention. Valentina and her men are all well developed. Seeing them continue to grow as individuals and as a group makes you cheer them on more and more. Each of the men is psychotic but she loves them for who they are which is great to see. The possessiveness and love they all show to each other is one of my favorite parts. The plot of the story helped support everything. Having Valentina begin to get her memories back of who she truly is was awesome. You can really see that who she was before her memories is still shining through to the core of her being even without those memories. I am looking forward to the next book in the trilogy. I can’t wait to see where the story will take them.
The continuation of Valentina’s story was action-packed and full of suspense, mystery, intrigue and so much more. Now that Valentina and her men have escaped Wicked Blaze, they must learn to trust their instincts and navigate a realm none of them know. As their magic develops, Valentina has to trust in her Magic’s instincts to guide them all.
The crazy chaos they all endure as they travel is something else, but even more so, this time outside of Wicked Blaze allows for Valentina and her men’s connections to grow and flourish despite all of the unknowns surrounding them. I love that each has such a unique bond with Valentina and all show their emotions and feelings in different ways, but one thing that remains constant between all of them is their loyalty and love for Valentina.
Though Valentina and her men endured, Valentina is left with more questions and uncertainty at the end…
I love so much about this series: a strong fmc, less than sane mmcs, reverse harem, fantasy, the world building, great steam but with a strong plot.
I loved that Val was so strong. She was considered the toughest in the prison. Her guys weren’t insecure about that at all and it made them like her more (ok there were a few moments of overprotection, but they’d get it straightened out).
The characters were all so interesting. They grew and changed over the three books.
My only real complaint is I just wished the whole series had been longer. There are so many guys and I would have gladly read more about her relationship with each and their group relationship.
Book two we finally get more steam and a lot of relationship building. The plot moved more in 1 and 3, but I was so invested in these characters and wanted even more. Then we get the ending which surprised me a bit and that’s fun to get in a book.
I was really hoping that this series would get better. While there was some stuff happening that was interesting, I just couldn't get past all the inner monologues! There was chapter after chapter of one character or another thinking about Valentina or remembering things from their past. I don't mind a little of that in a story, but in this book there was too much of it. Yes, some of it gave insight into the character. But it just went on too much.
Then, I really don't get what happened in the woods when they were captured. It didn't make sense. Valentina is powerful and has control of the land. How come she didn't do anything? Another thing was, why couldn't she remember the "dream" that told her to wake up. She seems to remember her dreams. Why not that one?
Right now I'm giving this book a 3, but it probably doesn't deserve it. Book 1 I thought could be a 3 or 4, but after this book I'd say nothing over a 3. Too much "filler" and not enough happening.
Wicked Blaze is gone and now Valentina and her men are wondering around the realm, following where her magic is leading them. Can her magic be trusted? Where exactly are they going? What lurks amongst the trees? Will they make it safely? I mean, what harm could a few little bunny rabbits be...right?
I am loving this series so far. Valentina is definitely a badass when it comes down to it and I can’t wait to see what she’ll be able to do in the next book after she’s figured a few things out....pesky memories, am I right?! Then, of course, let’s not forget her men. *swoon* I’m not sure what it says about me that I keep falling for M. Sinclair’s ever growing list of hot, psycho killers, but here’s another bunch to add to the list. So sexy 🔥🔥 Gah, this wait for book three is gonna kill me!!
This was a fun fabulous M Sinclair how could you end it like that?! I need more book Pronto!
Evading Wicked Blaze is the 2nd book of a Trilogy by our fabulous author M Sinclair. And is was AMAZING!
This book has everything I needed to read in it! Freaking hot guys and a bad ass FMC that has a take-no-shit attitude that I absolutely love! A story line that captures your attention instantly and sucks you into the magical world of mages, shape shifters and danger at every turn.
The detail that Sinclair puts into her character is astounding, I feel like I have know these people forever, and I'm totally calling dibs on Brody. I'm guessing he's going to turn into a freaking amazing character in the next book 😍
This is a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ read!
Evading Wicked Blaze is a RH romance with adult content and language.
This book is amazing. So we continue where we left off from book one. Wicked Blaze prison is no more and now Val and her men are traveling the land. Well now Francisco can shift to humanoid with Valentina's powers. Dmitri is human but maybe is becoming something else now that he is around Valentina. A few more guys get the mating mark as well. Oh and they stumble across a city that are cannibals. Um this is not good right. Well some crazy stuff happens that I sure as heck did not see coming. Also there is a new development with another character as well. I definitely want to know more about that. Valentina is also getting some dreams that feel very real but has no recollection of that. Which you will find out more in the book. The ending left my mind blown with a massive cliff hanger. M. Sinclair please do not let me wait to long to find out more.
I really enjoyed reading about Val coming into her powers more, how they grew and she becomes stronger. It’s almost as if it’s it’s own being... I also really enjoyed the development of the characters individually, collectively, and one on one. The way Vance nearly did a 180 from the previous book, plus I loved seeing his POV about the way he felt about Val back at WB. The way Milo was able to control his powers, and with that be able to trust himself to touch Val, sleep next to her, and be with her sexually. Don’t get me wrong, all of the guys (and Val) grew but those two stood out to me the most. THAT ENDING THOUGH!! Oh wow, I really enjoyed this twist and can’t wait to see where it leads.
Loved! I’m reading the omnibus but I wanted to make sure each book got a review. I loved reading the multiple point of views, it really endears me to each of the main characters. I relate to each of their issues, and we got to read how each of them overcame something. The character building is awesome. Interesting things are being revealed to our female lead character and she has so much trouble believing them, she’s the type to refuse first and ask questions later. Thankfully it always works out in her favor somewhat. I knew there was more to her back story and kinda assumed it when more details were revealed about the realm they were in. I won’t ruin it for everyone but seriously great book!
Wow absolutely amazballs I couldn't put it down! Seriously how does M.Sinclair do it ? I get sucked it everytime. Can I live in one of her storys any one I can't choose there all my favorites. Valentine God I wanna be her best friend she is so snarky and funny yet she takes no sh*t I love her let's not forget her sex ladden mind totally on board with all that cause dam her men are fine. Her men super protective yet they let her stand on her own yes finally there amazing. I couldn't recommend a better author to anyone all ther books are amazing read them and find out for your self you will be hooked I know I am!
I was hesitant to read this series because I wasn’t sure if I’d like the initial prison setting in book 1, however yet again M Sinclair gives us a unique, intriguing, and surprising storyline that I did not see coming. From the differences and depths of the relationships between Valentina and her men, to the plot twist concerning her heritage and true past, this book was so easy and fun to read while supplying a genuinely impressive story that keeps you wanting more. It seems there’s much unfinished business and I can’t wait for the wild ride coming in book 3.
Kindle. Continued to be just not one of my favorites from this author. I felt in general the book was weak. Storyline, world building, transitions it was all lacking. As always love the protective, obsessive and psycho men. The FMC was fine liking her stronger attitude. Though the relationship development just wasn’t well rounded and fell flat a lot of the time. A bit of a chaotic read with a lot thrown in at random with weak transitions in between. Easy mindless and fast paced read but very much could take it or leave it easily. *but call me crazy cause I’m going to continue to the last book of the trilogy again mainly cause it’s easy and mindless.
This is the second book in the series and we pick where we left off in book once with Val and her guys escaping prison. There are so many twists and turns in this book, it’s was exciting journey to be on. The plot really kept me engaged and I was excited that Val finally starts to remember her past. One of my favourite things about reading M Sinclair’s books is that all the guys she writes about are so memorable and possessive of the female. I am looking forward to the next book in the trilogy. I can’t wait to see where the story will take them.
What an amazing book by the hand of M Sinclair. I've loved books by this author a while and with reason. This is book 2 in the series so start with reading book 1. This one picks up where book 1 ended and pulls you right in the story again. The caracters feel real and are well developed as in all her books. The men all have loose thread but that's the charm here. The possessiveness and love shines through everything making me wish they were mine. Can't wait for the next book to see what happens.
I always appreciate how M. Sinclair gives us a small recap of both the characters and the setting while simultaneously moving the story forward. Valentina's story is one that was easy to reconnect with. The story made me laugh, was perfectly steamy, and had the drama well spaced throughout. There were a few twists leading up to the mild cliffhanger. It left me reeling as I did not expect it. At all. Defeating Wicked Blaze can't come soon enough!
Omg! This series is amazing. The story continues as Valentina and her men escape from Wicked Blaze prison and enter the unknown lands surrounding it. Ends on a huge cliffhanger but it’s so good! The development of the characters and her relationships with them is well done. The world building and story allow you to become fully immersed in their world and get lost in the story. Highly recommend.
Favorite quote: “I was possessive over our family. Our makeshift, broken family that I loved”
So we're back with Valentina and her sexy psychos. They're on the run if you will in a steange realm but they're getting stronger. There's drama and lots of sexy times as she finally claims all of her men. But OMG! A new player is on the scene and it seems Valentina isn't who she thinks she is. All I'll say is that the twists were so good and I am super excited for the next book!
Well I have just devoured this, and could not put it down. It was great to read the continuation of Valentina's story and I'm very much looking forward to Defeating Wicked Blaze when it is released next year ! It was great to see the development with each of her men and her exploring her relationship with each of them. That cliff hanger though!! How will she react?! Overall I very much enjoyed it and it's another brilliant story by M. Sinclair, thank you! Very much looking forward to book 3.
