Its 1978 and Arianna is just a normal girl...mostly. One fine, things change and she has no idea why. Suddenly, she can feel what others can feel and predict when danger will occur. She is a skater. This new ability takes her skating abilities to the next level. And this is the good side of the coin.

The other side of the coin is that she is so much stronger than she used to be and now has the ability to inflict some real damage. This has a way of bringing in some storm clouds with the good.

Arianna is a protector and must learn to use her powers for others. She also must discover who she really is in the grand scheme of things while maintaining balance.

It is a short story that packs a massive punch. I loved it and am looking forward to the next sequence of the series. She does a wonderful job with so few pages.

I received a free copy in return for an honest review.

**Presented with an ARC via HiddenGems in exchange for an honest review.**

Oh my goodness! I devoured this book and I loved every second of it. It is period and ethereal and mysterious, and yes it ends on a cliffhanger, but oh my goodness! I can’t wait to find more of this author’s work, to hopefully find the series this belongs to and devour the rest.

This is a once in a lifetime kind of story that haunts you long after you’ve finished reading it. And I highly *highly*!recommend it to everyone.

I really like the idea of the story but this was way to short and not enough depth for my liking. It has tons of potential to be a wonderful coming of age, empowering story.
