After growing up in the streets of West Palm beach, eighteen year old Danielle Watson allows puppy love and a dream of a new beginning drag her away from home and family, only to be left in an even worse predicament. Determined not go back, Danielle works hard to maintain the little she’s able to accumulate while doing her best to stay focused. That’s until years later when an accident introduces her to a handsome doctor who brings her into a life she’s never known. But the easy road proves to be too easy and just like the saying, “nothing in life is for free” Danielle realizes that love is no exception
The story was good but I wish there was an epilogue giving an update on how things were going once the dust settled. Though sometimes melancholy it was overall a good story, and I was happy to see Danny find some happiness after all she’d endured, but the typos made it hard at times to catch a good rhythm in reading. I’m willing to try this author again...
An interesting book dealing with tough topics: Verbal/physical abuse, abandonment and low self esteem. That describes the main character Danielle Watson. Aside from the many typos, I gave this one a 3 🌟 rating. 8/14/2020.
