I was skeptical about Rick...I was like how are these fools gonna make me fall in love with him?
Welppppp the fools did it...
I hate to admit it, but I love Rick (not as much as I love Dex)...Rick def grew on me. I love his sense of humor which he infuses with his serious side.
Mary is the prefect girl for him...she just doesn't know it yet. She doesn't see what's special about her, but that's ok because Rick sees's it.
Rich puts the pressure on her and she finally caves...Mary turns out to be very feisty!
I love how Rick always puts Mary first and he makes sure she knows how amazing she is at all times...Rick may have started to change for Mary, but at some point he morphed into the person he was always meant to be and Mary ended up to change as well, she learned how to love not only herself but someone else.

Awwwww🥺🥺🥺 this book is so sweet, hot, romantic, emotional and so great love story🥺🥺🥺 this story for me is so what i want😍😍😍😍

I NEED MORE AUTHOR😛😛😛😛 OBSESSED!!!!

‼️‼️‼️SAFE ROMANTIC HOT LOVE STORY. All of these series is safe romantic so its a good one💕

‼️‼️‼️LOVE IN FIRST SIGHT. Well at least for the hero tho because the heroine did like him but she was afraid that the hero was just playing around and not being serious.

“I’VE BEEN IN LOVE WITH MARY PATRICK FOR THE ONE HUNDRED AND NINETY TWO DAYS AND I HAVE NO IDEA HOW IT HAPPENED. IT STILL BLOWS MY MIND. REGARDLESS, I’M OBSESSED WITH HER, HAVE BEEN FROM THE FIRST TIME I SAW HER LITTLE CONSERVATIVE OUTFIT, HIDING HER BEAUTY BEHIND LAYERS AND LAYERS OF CLOTHING, WITH HER HAIR PULLED BACK IN A NEAT PONYTAIL. I DO THE SAME SH*T I DO EVERY DAY, WATCH HER FROM AFAR. WHY THE HELL OS SHE SO HOT?” 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺

‼️‼️‼️NO CHEATING

‼️‼️‼️THE HERO IS OTT POSSESSIVE PROTECTIVE ALPHA MALE. The hero have been through a lot in his childhood life so I understood why he did what he did, its not bad okay…

‼️‼️‼️I LOVE IT SO MUCH WHEN THE HERO IMMEDIATELY WANTS THE HEROINE AND ONLY LOYAL TO HER EVEN WHEN THEY WEREN’T DATING YET. THATS JUST SO ROMANTIC! FOR MONTHS! 6 MONTHS GUYS 🥺🥺🥺🥺 He followed the heroine and go to her church, not for showing to her but he wants to because of what he been through… This is what a hero supposed to be well at least 4 me

He didn’t even watch porn because he said that means cheating to her and he didn’t even see other woman’s ass even though they try to flirt with him or at least trying to, he never look 🥺🥺🥺 wow oh wow

“I HAVE STANDARDS AND A HEART THAT BEATS FOR ONE WOMAN.”

“THE FIRST TIME I SAW HER, AND FEW TIMES I’VE GIVEN TO TEMPTATION, I THOUGHT ABOUT HER. I’VE NEVER EVEN BEEN WITH ANOTHER WOMAN IN MY OWN MIND.”

“NOW I CAN’T THINK OF ANYTHING BUT ONE WOMAN. THE REST DO NOT EXIST.” 🥺🥺🥺

When another woman tries to walk in front of the hero because he was alone walking in the office, their coworkers saw it from afar that the hero walked in another way because he knows that woman tries to flirt the hero😂😂🥺🥺🥺

“HE BOLTED IN ANOTHER DIRECTION. BOLTED! IT WAS HILARIOUS AND SWEET.”

‼️‼️‼️NO VIRGINS.

“Rage courses through me at the thought of another man being inside her, but there’s no way he treated her the way I will, will make her feel as good as I’m about to.”

Both have been celibate for a while…

‼️‼️‼️THE HEROINE IS SO GENUINELY NICE PERSON AND EVEN THOUGH SHE’S RELIGIOUS BUT NOT TOO MUCH AND NOT TOO UPTIGHT! SHE’S COOL AND SHE’S HARD WORKING WOMAN… I like that about her! “Thats what i admire about mary. I’ve seen her with people a lot. She never pushes her beliefs on anyone. She always puts everyone else first, but not at a detriment to herself. She doesn’t allow people to walk all over her, but she sees the positive in everyone. She’s kind, and just good.”

‼️‼️‼️THE HERO ALWAYS SAYS TO THE HEROINE LIKE ALL THE FREAKIN TIME…

“THIS IS MINE. ONLY MINE. UNDERSTOOD?”

“AND SO I CAN SHOW YOU OFF TO EVERYONE IN THIS DAMN HOTEL, AND LET EVERY LAST ONE OF THEM KNOW ONE THING. THAT YOU’RE MINE.”

“I WANT TO EXPLORE AND CLAIM EVERY SQUARE INCH OF HER, SO THE WHOLE WORLD KNOWS SHE’S MINE. THAT SHE’S OFF LIMITS.”

‼️‼️‼️NOT MANY JEALOUS SCENES FROM THE HERO AND HEROINE BUT ITS THERE…

“I STARE RIGHT BACK AT HIM TO LET HIM KNOW MARY’S MINE AND ONLY MINE, AND NOBODY ELSE BETTER SO MUCH AS SNEEZE IN HER DIRECTION.”

‼️‼️‼️MANY HOT SMUT SCENES😏😏😏 damn this series really know how to make a hot scenes🥺

‼️‼️‼️IT HAS SEPARATION.

FOR WEEKS. BOTH ARE OBVIOUSLY LOYAL… NEVER GO TO ANYONE ELSE.

It was because of a big misunderstanding… i love that the heroine is so adult about it and so wise to handle the situation with the hero. And the best part is when the hero apologizes to the heroine, he even cried when she said she will forgive him🥺🥺🥺 i mean like they were separated it was not because of something bad or anything, even when the heroine try to talk to him about it and he pushes her away because he thought that was the best, he cried in front of some people when the heroine went away… he doesn’t care if those people see it or not… i mean he is a alpha male but his heart for the heroine is just so🥺🥺🥺❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

‼️‼️‼️THEIR CONNECTION and chemistry is just so amazing… so romantic and hot hahaha

‼️‼️‼️NO DRAMA WITH OW AND OM. ONLY DRAMA WITH THEIR ENEMIES FROM THE COMPANY.

‼️‼️‼️IT HAS PUSHING AWAY FROM BOTH. The heroine push the hero away because many people said the hero is bad to the heroine, their offices talked about it a lot so the heroine listen like or not so thats why she push the hero away… never too much tho… THE HERO ONLY PUSH THE HEROINE AWAY ONE TIME when he was in trouble. So their pushing away is never too much or too annoying…

‼️‼️‼️THE HERO IS 31 years old. I forgot how old the heroine but obviously younger than him…

‼️‼️‼️HAPPY ENDING! ENGAGED AND WILL BE TOGETHER FOREVER AND EVER 🥺🥺💕

🌐🌐🌐➡️↘️⬇️➡️This is my own personal thoughts and opinion about the book so if thats not sit right with you or you feel I’m not being fair blablabla, please know that everybody in this world have their own different things that they like and don’t like. It may not be the same thing with you but thats okay because i am my own person and you cannot control me or tell me what to do. For example; i put ketchup (tomato sauce) on my fried chicken. You think that’s disgusting? For me its not and i’ve been eating it like that for many many years. You tell me to put another sauce and see if i like that better? I already did many many times in years but i still like the way i like it. It’s called differences between me and you and billions people in this world😊 be open minded😙 I respect people’s opinions about my opinions but in the end of the day if i say I don’t like it or i do like it, its up to me and its on me. And in the end of the day i always liked and show my respect to books and people’s opinions on books whenever that book is good or not good in my opinion 😊 Respect people’s opinions guys😙😙 I don’t want to write this down because its not really my thing to do it. To like address something like this when obviously i know the people who’s been reading my reviews many times and all the time, they are smart enough to understand and respect other people’s opinions no matter what their opinions on book or their point of view 😙😙 am i right? 💕 also there are people even though i already write “this book is different because i have my own taste of book” those people still comment my taste is this and that when HELLO… everybody have their own thoughts on books and what they want to read… why i read it then? I read it and give it a review because i have to read a book to give it a review… why not read the description book to understand before I’m going to read it? Hello just in case you haven’t notice, description books can be tricky because they write this amazing things about a book but turns out the story is so toxic. Maybe for me its toxic but not for you? YES HELLO THATS WHY US HUMAN BEING HAVE OUR DIFFERENCES, WHAT I LIKE IT DOESN’T MEAN YOU WILL LIKE IT AND EITHER WAY TOO. why i still write the review then if i just don’t like a book? Because I CAN and i want to, you cannot tell me what to do and not what to do🤪 if you still wants to be negative and be karens about my review on book after all of what i just write, i will never acknowledge you and simply ignore you because its not that hard🙏 ⬅️↖️↕️⬅️↩️⤴️

*The woman I love is finally in my arms, whether she loves me back or not. She will, soon enough. That's a damn promise. I'm going to make Mary fall for me, then I'm going to spend the rest of my life with her. That's exactly what's going to happen. She might not know it now, but it has been decided.*

Well this book had Sloane Howell’s personality all over it. Five amazing hawt stars!

What did I like? Rick was an A type personality with an amazing memory. The way he drew Mary in was off the freaking charts. Wine...dine... Mary is mine. Loved the references to fellow author Helena Huntings...Pucked series. Also love the Pretty Woman movie references.... so fabulous. This book made me chuckle... the way Mary just tried to keep away from Rick. Such a sweet and swoon romance.

Would I buy or recommend? I loved this one but still love possessive playboy more....sorry. This is a great five stars series that just make you laugh and want to get sexy. Finally we get Rick and Mary’s story.... so grateful that Mary is not quite the Bible thumper she was made out to be.

Thoughts for the authors? Kudos guys...you did great by Mary and Rick. There story was phenomenal. You put a spin on that story that I have never read before. Five stars guys. Great stuff.

Book 6 in the Cocky Suits Chicago series and it just keeps getting better. Rick and Mary were so good. They shouldn’t work but boy they work. They were complete opposites but sometimes that make the best relationships and this was the case in their love story. Loved the chemistry and attraction between them. It was explosive once they let it consume them. Like the others in this series, you will be pulled in from page one and it will stay with you long after you are finished it.

I read an early review copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

You have a good conservative religious girl with a sinful delightful side that's not expected cave to her resilient & possessive man who simply does not take "No" for an answer and it ignites a romance full of comedy, chemistry, awesome references, and sexy AF love! It took a few to fall for Rick, but when I did it was full on. Initially I saw him as someone Mary could walk all over, but that changes gradually and once he fully commits and possess her, his unstoppable alpha side emerges and you're hooked.

The heroine is the ever responsible H with a backbone and holds her own, just as the rest of them. The authors do not disappoint with their strong heroines and characters. I definitely look forward to more releases.

PS: Definitely had to look up some of the references. LOL

ARC received for an honest review

I have been looking forward to Rick's story as this series has progressed.

And whilst I liked it, I didn't like it as much as the previous books.

And I hated that I had to type that.

I liked Rick and Mary's story ARC, however there were things that I didn't like.

I like that there is the thrill in the chase, and the cat and mouse game. But it just seemed to keep on going on, over and over. However, that was the least of my problems

And my problem is going to be mine and won't bother anyone else probably.

I am an athiest, and all the God and church stuff would normally make this a DNF story for me, but I kept going as I was keen to know how their tale would end. I just skipped all the church scenes.

I liked the changes we see in both Rick and Mary I liked seeing the couples from the previous books - I will always want more of that.

Will this stop me reading more from this series or this duo? Not at all. This book was the odd one out for me with this series, as up to here, I had found that I was liking each installment more.

Can't wait to see what Wolf/Howell bring us next.

This is the 6th installment of the Cocky Suits Chacigo series. The long awaited story of Rick Lawrence and Mary Patrick.
Rick is the "Yoda" of the Hunter Group in Chacigo . As their Private Investigator he is more in tune with his surroundings. He's like all the men in this series, Cocky, arrogant, commanding, and domaint and when he has his eyes set on something he's damn sure going to get it.

Mary Patrick is as down to earth, straight laced, compassionate and spiritual of a person you could com across. She's been dodging the advances of Rick for months on end. She's focused on her work and her simple life. She's also no fool. She's heard about his womanizing ways and can see right through his charade.

What happens when she finally gives into him and gives him a chance will blow your mind!

Alex and Sloane are a well rounded team and reach out to you. They definitely have a gift and can make you feel like you're right there with all these characters.

They have written some fierce women and I for one think that Mary is on top of that list. Her strength and determination to overcome the obstacle and help the one she loves, stand up to those more powerful than she is and keep her Faith is nothing short of inspiring. SHE is my favorite in this story and Alex and Sloane dis a fantastic job with her.
Rick is a great character and his growth as a person is nice to see but he is frustrating and I just wanted to shake the sense into him and I may have screamed at my kindle for him to get I grip and STOP tearing himself down for a past he had NO control over and grow a set and practice what he preaches and observe the people around him and they will tell him everything that's important. His intentions were honorable and selfish all at the same time, which hurt the people who cared for him the most and even though I do get it but I still got frustrated about it...
after all John Ray quoted it best in 1670, "The road to Hell is paved with good intentions."

I am a HUGE fan of Alex Wolf and Sloane Howell and they are absolutely AMAZING! I look forward to EVERYTHING they write. YOU won't be disappointed with their work!

Having been a devoted fan of the series, Rick’s story was going to get my attention because, to put it mildly, Rick was a dirty dog PI; unmatched in both skill and loutish behavior. When it became clear he had his sights set on sweet Mary “Magdalene” it could only have meant he was up to some underhanded con, right?

The book that starts with Rick pestering Mary. She’s insisting she has work to do. Decker walks by triggering my almost Pavlovian response to his alpha-tude telling Rick, “In my office, sh!thead”. I knew at that moment we were off to a great start.

All reminiscing aside, this was an unexpectedly wonderful story. Wonderful because of the romance, the steamy encounters, and the affirmation that that right person can change your life. Unexpected because of the role religion played in the story and how Sloane Howell and Alex Wolf did what can only be described as a masterful job of keeping our favorite Cocky Suits characters as naughty and irreverent as they always are, while still being true to Mary’s faith.

So I came to this book dismissing Rick as an amusing boor and finished with tears because of how moved I was by how he expressed his love and devotion for Mary. As always, I regret that I now can no longer look forward to reading DIRTY PLAYBOY. Alex and Sloane have done it again.

I received an advance copy of this book from the authors to read and voluntarily provide an honest review.

Cocky Suits Chicago has been one of my favorite series to date. I have been so invested in each and every story that these two amazing authors have given us readers. I was looking forward to Rick's story even though he wasn't my favorite throughout the other books. I honestly thought that there is no way that I would like him as much as the others let alone fall in love with his and Mary's story. Boy, was I wrong. Gosh....I loved their story just as much as the others. I really thought that it was going to be impossible to love their story as much as I did. Alex and Sloane NEVER let me down. I have to be honest while reading it I could see that Rick has Sloane's sense of humor. I have never laughed so much in a book. The back and forth between these two was so damn humorous!! Loved it!! Not only did I love Rick's sense of humor, but gosh the lengths that he went to prove to Mary that he wanted her was what made me love him so much. I enjoyed this book so much that I hated to see it end. Can't wait to get more from these two brilliant writers.

Ladies, if you haven't read any of this writing duo Alex Wolf and Sloane Howell's books, you my friend are seriously missing out. There is no way that you can read their books and not fall in love with the characters.

Happy Reading Everyone!!!

The more I read in this series, the more I like it!
Can the dirty, smarmy, slimy, womanizing PI really turn over a new leaf? Apparently it just takes the right woman. Who would have thought it would be the buttoned-up, straight laced, bible thumper, good girl Mary that would garner that kind of reaction from Rick?!
In Mary's eyes, when it seems too good to be true, it probably is. Of course he's handsome, but his reputation precedes him and she's so not interested in playing those games. Never one to be deterred, Rick steps up his game and pulls out all the stops. Just when things are starting to fall into place, secrets of the past pop up and threaten to destroy the present and future. With the help of an unlikely ally, the world as they know it is ripped open and everything is exposed. While all the turmoil and angst creep in and you, yourself rooting a little harder that they find their way.

4.5 Star Review Dirty Playboy (Cocky Suits Chicago #6) by Sloane Howell and Alex Wolf
Book six in the series from Sloane Howell and Alex Wolf and I really enjoyed it.
Having seen glimpses of Rick and Mary in previous books I was interested to see how their story unfolded, particularly since there were times that I wasn’t to keen on Rick in the previous books.
However, I loved Rick, from start to finish he ticked the boxes for me and the chemistry between him and Mary was intense. This is a well written story by two authors who write well together, I have no idea where one author stopped and the other took over.
Not only was it steamy but it was romantic and they handled Mary’s strong faith with respect. Rick’s care and devotion to Mary was heart warming and put a smile on my face as well as bringing a tear to my eyes.

Sometimes people can surprise you and that perfectly describes the characters of this book. Initially, Rick and Mary seem about as different as could be and I honestly wondered if I would ever be able to believe that these two could make a successful couple. However with their skillful writing and extreme cleverness, these authors made me believe it and had me rooting so hard for this pair. I thought that this was a really beautiful story about the changes that love can inspire and that looks can in fact be deceiving. Plenty of emotion, tension and drama along with some laughs made this a entertaining read. This is my elective, candid review.

Finally Rick and Mary's book. Dirty Playboy is a fantastic read. This is one you have been waiting for. Rick is a man of mystery who knows how to get things done. Mary is sweet and seems so innocent. But as Rick finally makes his move Mary is anything but innocent. I love Mary and Rick together. There is just something about them that you will fall in love with. You get why Rick is the way he is once his past comes to light. I love how Mary does everything she can and you get to see a different side of her when it comes to Rick. Your heart will break just a little bit in this one and then you will just swoon and fan yourself over and over again. I just loved this one so much.

Let me tell you, I love all the Collins’ brothers in the series, and loved all their books. BUT, I COULD NOT WAIT FOR RICK’s BOOK!!! The build up to it has been pretty epic, all the things he’s done to get his church going Mary’s attention. He put many, many months into it, and it finally pays off. After many, many, months of blowing him off and basically ignoring him, Mary finally gives in to a date. And it’s the start of changes for both of them. But of course, just when you think you’ve got it all, someone/something comes sneaking back from the past and tries to ruin it all. But if you have true faith, you can survive it, right? I loved loved loved this book!! I loved Rick & Mary together, when it finally happened. And I loved the build up leading to it over all the books 😍😍😍

I’ve slowly been making my way through this series and I have to say I was intrigued for Rick and Mary’s book. Having seen them in previous books I couldn’t wait to see how everything unfolded for them.

Rick is a man of mystery, he’s extremely handsome and knows how to get things done. Mary is adorable, so sweet and underneath the innocence she gives off is anything but innocent. Having these together was the perfect solution! Their chemistry is off the charts hot and you can’t help but fan yourself.

I loved their back and forth, the chase, I loved everything.

It was hot, it was steamy, it was everything I love.

Sloane and Alex did great with their story. They brought us two characters that were perfect for each other.

Can’t wait to see what the rest are like.

I have to stay, I didn't like Rick and Mary's story...

It has nothing to do with the plot itself, it has so much to do with the pacing performance...I felt the need to skim and skip which is not good in any aspect...

the writing is good as usual and the characterisation was good, despite the obvious "polar opposites in differences" between the main characters...which did make them sound a bit "plastic" and too good to be true for one and too bad to be real for other...but in fact, they were both idyllically perfect for each other...

oh well...

Rick Collins is another funny, intriguing character brought to us by the talented writing duo of Alex Wolf & Sloane Howell. In this latest Cocky Suit installment we get to know the Collins Bros. personal PI. He's a little douchey at first, but once we get to know him and his crush Mary Patrick, he kind of grows on you. We learn that there isn't anything he wouldn't do to protect those he cares about. We also get to see that Mary isn't the little bible thumping wallflower people assume she is, and that we shouldn't judge a book by its cover. Overall an enjoyable and oftentimes funny love story.

Off the chart AMAZING!!!

Sloane and Alex sure know how to turn up the heat with their stories. This one is a page turner you won't be able to put down. I love how Rick chased after Mary. Yes he's been a cocky playboy. But once he set his sites on Mary, he was determined to have her. The lengths he went to show her how much he wanted her. Then once he finally has her his past comes back to haunt him. Talk about a turn of events. This book was brilliantly written. I didn't want it to end. This book deserves way more than five stars

I couldn't wait to begin this book & find out how the heck Rick would gain the affections of bible thumping Mary. A very odd pair to put together; Mary is religious, quiet, unassuming & dresses to cover up, not to show her fashion sense. Rick, the company P.I. is a womanizing, foul mouthed smartass who beats to his own drum until he spots Mary, a transplant from Texas. For months he has studied the bible, has remained celibate, all to impress Mary. They have ventured out together for company gatherings, while Mary insists none of these have been dates. Rick is unrelenting until finally the woman of his dreams caves.
I was expecting Mary to give him a hard time, was expecting Rick & his antics to keep me invested & amused, but what I didn't count on was the serious tone which saturated the inner pages, the sadness I felt about Rick's childhood & the events that produced the man he grew to be.
For the non-believers, much like myself, there are some chapters that have a focus on religion. This didn't bother me in the least, I didn't feel like someone was preaching or that I would be damned to hell for not following "The Lord's Holy Book".
A much different vibe from the other books in the series, even though the Collins brothers make a few appearances, this was unexpected but definitely a joy to read.

Best one yet! Don't get me wrong, I've loved every couple in this series, and by this point, I fully expect Wolf and Howell to bring their A-games - but this time they went above and beyond. I've liked Rick from his first appearance in the series, and I've been waiting for this book since he got Mary in his sights.
Now, here's where I have to be careful not to venture into spoiler territory because there are some great twists here as we learn about Rick's past. I knew it was bound to be interesting, and I've been waiting to learn more about the cocky PI, but wow. That wasn't what I expected. It's terrific, but so not what I saw coming.
As I've mentioned with every couple, the chemistry is always terrific, so I expected the same for Rick and Mary. Let me tell ya, Mary may be on the innocent side, but she certainly has a vixen inside her. And when these two get going, they're hot enough to set your Kindle on fire.
This has been a series of alpha males and the strong women who make them want to be better versions of themselves, but none so much as Rick and Mary. She's so much stronger than she realizes, and I love that he wasn't changing just to win her over. It kind of felt like it started that way, but the more I learned about Rick, the more it felt like he wanted to be a better man to deserve Mary and not just as a means to an end.
So, we get a fun story with secrets to learn, a couple that generates loads of feels and enough steam for a sauna, some catch-up time with past favorites, and it all comes together for one unputdownable read. I don't know which character is next to find out he's not as invincible to love as he thinks he is, but I will say this - Alex Wolf and Sloane Howell have outdone themselves with Rick and Mary, and they've set the bar pretty high for whatever comes next.

Dirty Playboy is Book 6 in the Cocky Suits/Chicago Series. And you will not be disappointed with the story of Private Investigator, Rick Lawrence. The seeker of secrets, master of manipulation, and purveyor of pasts will grab your heart and pull you under his spell.  Buckle up readers, it’s a bumpy ride.

Rick Lawrence has value, street cred, and talent that no one else can compare to. While he keeps the company informed of all business angles and clients pasts protected, he is an anomaly.  You need him and he comes with a hefty price.  But lately, his interests have changed.  Apparently, one very angelic woman, Mary Patrick, has Rick changing his ways and walking a new path.  Because Mary is everything pure and good. And Rick will do anything, ANYTHING, to claim this woman as his.  She is his Garden of Eden, the forbidden fruit that will bring him to his knees.

Mary Patrick works hard, volunteers at her church, and clings to her deep faith and church.  But she admits that Rick Lawrence is a weakness, a temptation for her.  He may be able to quote scriptures, volunteer at her church, and make her body tingle, but he’s a player. And she isn’t interested in his game.  Fortunately, Rick isn’t giving up his faith in claiming Mary.  He’s finally gotten her attention, and she’s everything he’s ever desired.

But when his past comes knocking at the door, Rick is faced with decisions he can’t avoid and doesn’t want to make.  But Mary and her safety is all that matters. He’ll be the sacrifice to be her savior.

This storyline had me feeling so many things.  Rick always had a sarcastic wit and charm I loved.  He had that alpha, protective instinct, along with some romantic episodes, and some soul crushing moments that broke my heart.  And Mary gives the good girls a lesson or two in being a real woman, unafraid, and willing to take when necessary. All things that make for an incredible story.

The writing duo of Sloan Howell and Alex Wolf will satisfy your book hunger.  Their stories give you a bit of turmoil, humor, lots of chemistry and 🔥🔥🔥, and hope for that HEA we all crave.  This story was brilliant!

I'm totally invested in the Cocky Suits Chicago series and I have to say, I wasn't really sure how I was going to feel about Rick's book. Let's face it, he's an arrogant, possessive PI who will do what he has to in order to get the information he needs! But, with that said, I really came to appreciate him and the things he was dealing with as the book went on.

Rick has had his eyes on Mary Patrick, one of the paralegals at the firm, for some time. She's sweet, pretty straight-laced and is very grounded in her Christian faith. She's not the first person that you would think that Rick would fall for, but there is definitely something that draws him in. He tries to get her to go on a date with him, but she's got all the excuses. When Rick finally breaks through and gets Mary to agree, will outside forces threaten to end what they've started before it really has a chance to bloom?

There was SO much to love about this book. I can't say that I ever thought that I'd be applauding the balance that Sloane and Alex achieved between the naughtiness of the Collins brothers and Rick and Mary's faith, but they did it and did it so well. I also really enjoyed Rick's backstory and the things that make him who he is. Another great nugget that came out of this book was that you never know who is going to be in your corner when you least expect it. That support can come from the most unexpected source (with unexpected force!), but it can be exactly what's needed at that time.

Kudos to Alex and Sloane for another great installment in this series. I seriously can't wait for the next books!

I was hesitant about this story because I wasn’t sure if I could see Rick Lawrence as a romantic figure that I could root for. Well, I was completely wrong. Rick and Mary’s story was beautiful and sexy.

Rick has been completely in love with Mary since the moment he saw her. He starts reading the bible and going to church because Mary is religious. Mary has thwarted all of his advances because she thinks it’s all an act. Once she begins to see the real Rick, she decides to give him a chance.

I loved seeing Rick’s vulnerable side. Up until this point, we’ve only seen the cocky, arrogant, smart ass so I loved seeing the heart beneath it all. I loved how Rick was completely all in with Mary from the moment he saw her and he never wavered in this. His past was tragic and explained so much of his behavior. I found myself rooting for him and hoping for his happy ending.

There was lot more to Mary than what you see on the surface. Underneath it all, she’s fiery and sexy and will fight for those she loves. She was awesome. I loved how she took on the Collins brothers and Wells Covington without hesitation.

Dirty Playboy will make you smile and pull at your heartstrings. Rick and Mary are a great match and their story will make you fall in love with them.

This is a sizzling contemporary office romance with lot's of heart! We have watched Rick working hard to convince Mary to go out with him through several stories in this series. I was so excited to finally find out more about them both! Mary is sweet, hard working, and devout to her faith and church. Rick is the office PI and playboy. He has been attracted to Mary from the start and has slowly worked his way into her life, trying to make her fall for him. Mary is suspicious and doesn't want to fall for his charming ways only to become the joke of the office. But Rick finally proves he is worthy of her time and their smoldering attraction explodes! I absolutely loved both Rick and Mary, they where so much more than their first impression. They are multifaceted and rich characters that are intriguing, and soulful. This is a different story from the rest of the series and has a depth that will make you question how you discern characters while taking your breath away.
This series always has a great grand gesture, which I love, and this story has one of the best! Even tho the ending was completely satisfying, there was a bit of a surprise revelation revealed and I can't wait to find out more!

Dirty Playboy hit me HARD. I knew about Rick and Mary from the previous books, and to be honest... I didn't like Rick. At all. He's cocky (yes, I know this is the Cocky Suits series but that man... he's a cocky jerkface I didn't like) and was PLAYING with Mary and her deep-rooted Christian faith. He started to read the Bible just to impress her and get into her pants. Mary wasn't having any of it. So when this book started out, trust me when I say I was 100% Team Mary and supported her rejection of his so-called affection. Then BAM! A truck came out of NOWHERE and hit me in ALL THE FEELS. I was stunned. Like.. what the HELL just happened here? I am NOT supposed to like that jerk, but here I am, crying. WHAAAAAAT.

And don't get me started on the inclusion of my favorite RomCom and the fantasies that go with it. Lawd. I have thoroughly enjoyed each Cocky Suits book and already picked Donovan Collins as my fav. But this one? This one knocked me off-kilter. I'm blown away by Rick. I can't call him my Book Boyfriend because I'm not stealing him from Mary, but... DUDE. Just go grab this book and READ IT.
