Interesting basic guide. Sometimes overly basic and in depth yet other times skims over areas where more detail might suffice; eg 6 pages on soil sampling whereas most areas only have 2 dedicated pages.

The book reads in places like its written for gcse level students. Illustrated throughout. Worth a read for those with passing interest in the subject or beginners.
