I really enjoyed reading this book to the kids, and they enjoyed listening to me read it. We all learned so much more than we originally knew about Mrs. Rosa Parks thanks to this book. I had no idea how involved she had been in the civil rights movement, or that her refusing to give up her seat had not been the first time she'd stood up for herself against racism. Highly recommend.

Highly recommended for a younger audience and an older audience that enjoys reading with images.

Enjoyed the graphics and the story on Rosa Parks, quite easy to follow and will recommend the collection (other books on other historical personalities in this series) for individuals seeking to educate younger ones on historical happenings and personalities

I adored this interesting book about Rosa Parks. I learned so much about her, especially about her early life. I love that the book was sprinkled with illustrations and graphic quotes. The graphic novel feel makes it very kid friendly. I was inspired and can’t wait to share it with my children.
