Ann was born in a small town in Indiana. She was the only girl in a family of three boys which gave her a pretty good understanding of the workings of the male mind, both the good, the bad, and well... all the in-between. Understanding how men think is helpful in writing romances.
As a former English teacher she has always had a special affinity for the written word. "I have to admit. I love to paint a picture or evoke an emotion with words."
She is the mother of two and currently lives in Florida. When not writing she enjoys an exciting career as a professional dog trainer.

Book Review:

This book was beyond riveting..." To have & to hold from this day forward" took on a life of it's own...By the love & support of her family & those around her she became a survivor....What a story to be told and what a nightmare that the main character & her family endured..
I myself couldn't put the book down...Thank God she survived but certainly at a costly price....Thank - you for this story to share....It's gonna stay with me a long time....M.L.

Wow

Wow just wow.. I cannot fathom what this survivor of domestic abuse went through, it just broke my heart, the things her husband did.. how easily he got away with these things. My heart goes out to all the survivors
Ps. I about balled when I found out about her strained/nonexistent relationship with her middle child, so sad

Couldn’t put it down

Narcissist: someone with an exaggerated sense of self-importance.
Sociopath: an egocentric person with a lack of remorse for one’s actions and empathy for others.

Because of his charming and manipulative skills Liv never stood a chance, even after she’s warned to stay away from Gary. I often wonder why women stay in these types of marriages (and by the end of the story, Live tells us in her own words her reasons). Her story is a warning to all women not to ignore red flags, trust yourself and God, and never give up.

I enjoyed reading Liv To Tell by Ann Heathman. It was extra-interesting to me because it was a true story. I could see how it could happen so easily, but I was soooo happy at the ending. I do wish it had continued just a bit longer to see how Liv progressed.

OMG what a story. Highly recommended

I loved reading this book. Throughout the book it makes you wonder if you are reading a novel or really a true story. An inspiring story. Worth reading.

Certainly eye opening

This was truly not only a psychological but physical and emotional abuse to the ninth power. Sometimes women close their eyes to the warns by signs for the sake of the family. This is only one small sample of how it happens. Slowly and methodically.
