It should have been a quick trip to the bank. Cash a check so she could pay her rent and get to the interview on time. Instead, Kyra found herself lying on the floor, unable to move as three men robbed the bank and killed the guard who tried to stop them.
The moment Slade realized he'd been drugged, he fought it. He tried to take in everything, but the drugs were strong, and he went down, staring into the eyes of the curvy woman who collapsed first. He wanted to tell her everything would be okay, but even if he could speak, he couldn't get the words out. He knew there was no guarantee of that.
When the woman from the bank shows up for an interview, Slade pushes the team to hire her. Kyra is smart and beautiful and perfect for the job. She’s also off-limits.
But when another bank is hit, the lines between Slade and Kyra are blurred. They lean on each other, and everything they thought they knew gets flipped upside down.
USA TODAY Bestselling Author Mary E Thompson spent most of her childhood wishing she had a few less curves. She hid in the pages of books because her favorite characters never cared what size her clothes were. Now, neither does Mary, and she writes stories that celebrate women like her. Real women who have curves, chase dreams, and find love, because we should all be happy, no matter our dress size. Mary spends her non-writing time with her husband and two kids, watching too much TV, cheering for her hometown football team (Go Bills!), and hiding chocolate from her family.
I was lucky to get this book as a birthday present from the author. With no expectation on a review just a kind gesture . But this book was too good not to leave a review I have enjoyed all of the F-bomb series and this is book 5.
A trip to the bank turn in to a nightmare for slade and the pretty curvy woman who caught his eye in the queue. After the are both drugged in the robbery. Slade has no clue as he stay with the curvy lady that she was to interview for a job at his firm.
Slade is unsure what it is about her that calms his soul but it does. Kyra is unused the attention of someone who looks like Slade well not in a good way. The chemistry is off the chart but when other robberies occur and Kyra is in the criminals crosshairs. Slade must figure this out and quick if he is to have his happily ever after This is a great read.
I feel like I waited for Slade’s story forever, and it did not disappoint. I loved every page of this book. Slade and Kyra has such chemistry from the start, you could just feel it pouring off the pages. And I love with each book that you get to be updated on all the other couples.
This isnmy favourite from the series. Slate is so amazing especially on how he deals with overcoming his past. Jack was always my least favourite character in the series (too cocky for me) but I particularly hated him in this one because of the conflict he causes between Kelsey and Slate. Don't get me wrong the author does a great job with that scene!! Jack is just a bit of a bastard.

Definitely my favourite one in the series and I love the whole series. Slate is 🥵🥵🥵 and I even like his dog. The story is really good and boyt could I have punched Jack in the end. He was already my elast favourite of the group and he is def in the doghouse now.
A good romance with a bit of suspense thrown in. Space falls for Kara who thinks she's to fat for him to love her and she can't have children so she's going to stay single but Space lobes her and keeps trying to convince her that he loves her with or without kids.
I wish there were more F Bomb books cause I love them all but this one is definitely my favourite. Slate is a great book boyfriend and the story is captivating.
