Faith and her sister Hope have lost everything , and now Faith has to save her sister. She knows she can make more money by working at the brothel. She’s a virgin, and the madame auctions off her virginity. Daniel and Eric McKenzie are identical twins that share everything. They happen to be in town for a horse breeders convention and they always visit the brother when in town. When Eric sees Faith he knows she’s the one for him. He buys a week, but he’s always shared everything with his brother, will he be able to share Faith? This story is fast paced, filled with steamy scenes, some drama, and has sizzling chemistry between the characters. I loved everything about this story and can’t wait to see what this author comes up with next.

LOL, love and romance was alive and well in the old west! It was a bit of a struggle for me to complete this book. To tell you the truth, it was my first (and most likely, last) eBook. I have been trying to save some cash during the pandemic, wherever, and whenever I can.

The book had an interesting concept - two brothers, one wife, and included communication break downs, jealousy, and a whole lot of repetitiveness.

Anyone who reads this book in the future should drink a shot of alcohol every time one of the male characters says, "little dove". Trust me, you will be smashed by the end of the first page.

This was a tough book. It is extremely heavy on the SM part of a BDSM trio between twin brothers and Faith, a young woman with an incredibly tragic life story. The sexual scenes are intense and hardcore, including power exchange and humiliation. But that was not such a problem because I expected it from the blurb.

The big Problem for me was the incredible lack of communication between the participants, especially the woman and the brother she’s gets married to, Eric. How is he supposed to be an experienced Master and yet he has no good communication with his Submissive? To me it wasn’t a power exchange so much as he was a sadistic bully and took advantage of her emotionally, far beyond the physical . At the very end there is an attempt to redeem his character, but for me it was too little too late. I thought the premise itself was really pretty good, but his good side was too late to show.

Faith and Hope were orphans and Faith decides to auction off her virginity to save her sister and send her to their aunt. Eric and Daniel are identical twins and share everything. Eric buys Faith for the week and sparks fly between them and his brother Daniel. Soon Eric knows that Faith is the one for him but what will happen when he tells his brother. Intense chemistry, drama and steam. Hot read and entertaining story. I liked it.

The heat/steam level of this one was off the scale: HOOOOOT, INTENSE, BRUTAL at times, NEVER ENDING . . . . .
This is seriously one of the most erotically written stories I've ever read (& I've read A LOT of them!) as well as intensely S&M BDSM themed I've read.
I personally found the writing to be very very good, I don't recall any glaring typos or word misuse. The writing flow was excellent, I never felt 'jerked' from one scene to the next, was never tempted to skip or skim any parts. I felt the characters: Eric, Daniel & Faith/Rose were very well detailed & fleshed out. I felt a sense of the time & place & the supporting characters (I looooved Madame Murphy!) were perfect additions, never too much or over the top or intrusive.
I truly liked & admired Faith, for her determination to protect & help her younger sister no matter the sacrifice as well as her physical & mental strength enabling her to endure everything the McKenzie twins put her through. I admired her ability to recognize & accept what type of woman she was sexually but most of all her love & fidelity for Eric.
Hmmm, now the twins, Eric & Daniel. Truthfully they (especially Eric), were much harder to like.
Both in their mid-twenties & owning their own ranch & horse breeding business, once they encounter & 'buy' Faith they seemed (to me at least) like two 5 year olds on a massive sugar high. Realizing Faith was a HARDCORE masochist, Eric (an UBER HARDCORE sadist) & Daniel (a gentler sadist than Eric), both men were virtually giddy to not only hurt Faith but hurt her as much as possible in as many ways as possible. Over & over & over, sometimes for hours. Non-stop tag teaming her to exhaustion.
Now, again, Faith is adamant verbally & internal thoughtwise she loves & WANTS the pain & humiliation but it takes some time to overcome her societal mores & values to reach the embracing stage of her ignited dark desires.
I personally have zero hangups about BDSM, S&M, etc but the men (again Eric especially) seemed just cruel & mean & completely uncaring about Faith's physical endurance. Indeed, Eric specifically will not relent on dishing out pain until in HIS estimation Faith has submitted 100% to him in ALL things & ways. And things escalate for our characters until all 3 have very difficult & life altering decisions to make about themselves as well as each other.
There is a very good overarcing story throughout this one that I liked but truthfully the vast majority of this one is one S&M menage scene after the other, which was fine with me but others may not be so enamored of this kink drenched book.
BUT, I truly did like it a lot. I liked the writing, the S&M scenes were scorching & seemed to sizzle off my Kindle, I felt the characters lust & heat, bit my lip & CARED about the characters & INVESTED in what would happen to each one. I loved the resolution & wrap upas well as the very intriguing epilogue which intensely piqued my interest for a possible sequel.
So, for a reader who isn't afraid of very enthralling well written rough, intense, sometimes non-stop kink with a light & enjoyable plot thread, read this one.

This the story of the McKenzie Twins, Eric and Daniel and the lovely Ms. Faith MacGregor. This story is set in the 1800's. The summer of 1879 finds Faith and Hope MacGregor in dire straits. The were orphans and find themselves working in a laundry for pennies a week. They were orphaned because their parents had died in a fire while they were out at a dance. Their father was a horse breeder and Faith had dreamed of being one herself. Their home caught fire and her parents and some of the ranch hands had perished in the fire and then to make things worse her father had mortgaged to purchase some new stallions. So they were destitute and with no money or home they moved to San Francisco from their home in Wilbur Spings, California because they had nothing and no one but each other. They did have an Aunt on the East Coast who was a teacher and was willing to take them in if they could get to Philadelphia but with the money they were making they wouldn't be able to get the 200 needed for her to catch a train to the east coast for five years.
Faith was a firey red head with beautiful green eyes and a gorgeous body to boot and after her boss gave her an ultimatum that she give her body to him or he was going to fire them she decided to would go check out a brothel a customer Jimmy had told her about. He told her she could make two or three times the amount of money she was making. Because she thought if she didn't do something her sister Hope might die she decided to check it out. She found out that Jimmy was the brothel owners son Madame Murphy's brothel. So the story continues she decides to get auctioned off at Madame Murphy's brothel because she knew if she didn't get some money to send her sister away she was going to die. Madame Murphy did everything to discourage her because she felt sorry for her even thinking of giving her the money but Faith had made up her mind.
Then comes identical twins Eric and Daniel who are sadist on their monthly trip to San Francisco to visit a brothel and find them a whore to have their way with and because their was horse auction going on. Eric sees Faith and automatically knows that she is the one for him. Eric bids on her and ends up paying $500 for her and he realizes after he has bought her he doesn't want to share her with his brother like they usually do. He has to suck it up and do it anyways. So the story begins of Sadist Eric and his brother Daniel who is sorta of a Sadist but not as much into the torture of the body as his brother and their whore, Faith, aka masochist. This story I did enjoy. We know Faith did what she had to do to care for her sister Hope and she gets to learn a lot about life by selling herself to the Mckenzie twins, identical at that. Though it was set in the 1800's BDSM was alive in well back then. I enjoyed this story it had loads of drama sometimes my heart felt for Faith, but she was one tough Scottish lass. Good read for me.

This is the first book by Lynn Coppersmith I've read so I had no idea, except what I'd read in the blurb, what to expect from her world-building or characters. To be completely honest, this was a pleasant surprise for me. Faith and Hope had grown up on a horse ranch, her father raising and breeding horses. The evening the girls were attending a ball there was a storm and a flash of lightning set things on fire so quickly because of the draught, they lost everything, including their parents. Faith was 18 at the time and Hope 17. Having nothing to hang onto since the farm was repossessed by the bank, the girls moved to start fresh but the only work they could find was in a laundry. After a year of trying to save enough to be able to send Hope to their Aunt's across country, Faith was offered a job in a brothel. Finding out she could make almost $12 per day was just like an answer to their prayers. On the day of the West Coast Horse Breeders Convention, the madam had set up an auction at the brothel to sell Faith's virginity. The highest bidder would not only win a night with Faith but stay in the best room in the house. Enter Eric and Daniel McKenzie. Twin brothers who were in town for the convention in order to sell some of their stock and buy a few new. Not only were they twins but they shared everything, including their women. What happens when a very determined, masochistic virgin meets a set of sadistic twins who have always shared everything? You've got to read this to find out. This storyline was fast-paced and easy to read with characters that came to life. The BDSM scenes were HOT, there's a whole lot of chemistry between them and of course, there was angst and drama involved. I'm definitely going to backtrack and read the first two books of the series and can't wait to see where the author takes us next.

Faith and Hope were raised on a horse ranch and Faith hoped to eventually run the ranch. When the ranch burns down they become orphaned. They move to San Francisco and try to raise the money to go to their aunt in Philadelphia. They are not able to make enough money legitimately. Faith is told that she should become a whore as she would be able to make $10-$12 a night! Faith turns down the offer at first, but then goes to the madame and, after the madame tries very hard to discourage her, she decides to auction off her virginity and start her new life. The madame loans Faith enough money to send her sister to their aunt.

Eric and Daniel McKenzie are identical twins that share everything. They have arrived in the city for the West Coast Horse Breeders Convention. They usually stay at the brothel where Faith is to be auctioned. Eric buys her for a week to be shared between the brothers.Both brothers are sadists and, luckily, Faith is a masochist. They enjoy each other and spend a lot of time in bed (and on the floor, in the the bath, etc.). Eric is determined that Faith is his 'one' and that he will marry her. They learn that Faith has an excellent eye for horseflesh and is a gifted trainer. Eric convinces Faith to marry him and he buys the rest of her contract from the madame. They spend time getting her clothes (and other things) for when they return to their ranch. Eric is also finding that he doesn't want to share Faith anymore but he doesn't know how to tell Daniel. There is a HEA for Faith and Eric and we get a sneak peek into the next book.

Faith and Hope McGregor have been dealt a horrible blow, their parents are dead and now they have nothing. Hope isnt coping well with doing the Laundry each day so Faith decides to take Jimmy up on his offer, to become a Whore just to get money to send her sister away to their aunt who will let her board with them.
However with Faith been a Virgin, and another factor is that she likes Pain so the mistress Auctions her off. Eric and Daniel have come to sell their horses at the market, and usually vist the whore house when they come into town, but when Eric first sees Faith he knows she is the one, and he will have to share her with his brother,. They are Sadists and Faith turns out to be a Masochist well matched...

This is so thoughly enjoyable to read, i love the kink in it, but be warned if you are not into BDSM then this is not for you..

I've not read anything else by Lynn Coppersmith, but I would definitely give her another try. Faith needs to find away to take control of her life, support her sister's dreams, and avoid giving her virginity to her sleazy boss. After an encounter with a stranger who tells her how much money she could make in a brothel, she decides to take the offer. The madame decides to sell Faith's virginity to the highest bidder, who is Eric. He and his twin brother Daniel always take women together and Faith's no exception. The problem is Eric is wildly attracted to Faith and jealous of his brother having anything to do with her. Faith is equally attracted to Eric and Not to Daniel. And so the story twists and turns. The book was a well paced, compelling read.

Their Soiled Dove is book 3 in The Return to the McKenzies series, but can be read as a stand alone. This story was well written and includes a menage with plenty of bondage, spankings, toys, and S/m. The sex is steamy each time with plenty of deep emotions running between these twin brothers and Faith; however, misunderstandings and lack of communications is a running theme through out the book. While I enjoyed Eric and Faith's story the strong S/m theme was not my favorite type of story and I would love to have seen more storyline to go with the steamy sex scenes. Overall if you enjoy S/m then I recommend this book for you. I do look forward to reading Daniel's story to see where his character will go next though. I voluntarily received an arc copy of this book.

Faith is being auctioned at the Brothel as her coming out if you will. She is nervous but she got her little sister, Hope sent out to get her teaching certificate so Hope can do what she has always wanted. She is upset with Faith for selling her virginity to provide funds for Hope to travel to school. Eric is becoming unsure of the agreement he made with Daniel to share Faith even though she is married to Eric. Faith is in love with Eric but does what her husband requires in their relationship. Will Faith and Eric's relationship survive this little wrinkle in their relationship? There are many twists and turns in this novel. You won't be disappointed if you read it.

Here we clearly have one of the rare five star stories. This one is by far not the typical one either. If you are faint of heart this story is probably not for you but if you like spankings, sado/maso and BDSM then this story will very likely be right up your alley!!! And no more about that. First of all the characters are just fantastic and the storyline is good. It is quite long but I at least took no real notice about that because I was so deeply entranced in this story. I just loved it as over the top as I felt it was, but...

Faith was desperate to save her sister. She went to apply for work at a brothel. Eric and Daniel were there for a convention. Eric saw her and knew she was the one for him. The only problem was he always shared with his brother. Faith would do anything for Eric even let his brother use her body. Eric married Faith and they all went to the mens home. Towards the end both Eric and Faith decided they only wanted each other but did not tell the other. Daniel decided to leave so they could be happy with each other.

3 ½ Stars! Book three in the Return to the McKenzies series. Can be read and enjoyed as stand-alone. Full length told in multiple POV with HEA and the epilogue possibly sets up the next book in the series. Twin brothers who share their women, but one is looking for “the one” and the other is content. Faith is out of options, so she goes to work at a brothel to auction off her virginity. There is a lot of BDSM and MFM. Not a lot of conflict except for lack of communication. Overall, I liked this steamy historical western.

What you do for love. Faith is pushed to the limits in what she does for the love of her sister, then the love of her husband Eric. A very strong storyline that pushes the boundaries between characters who are all looking for love in their own way. I enjoyed how Faith was finally able to open to her husband and also be honest with Daniel. The story was well developed with a surprising turn of feelings towards the end, which make this more of an entertaining ending.

This is the first book I have read by Ms. Coppersmith. It is also a genre that I don't read often. No, I don't mean the menage or BDSM. The historical aspect is what I tend to avoid.....not sure why. I enjoyed this story greatly. After finishing and doing some research, I found that this one is not only the third in a series but the series is a spin-off. Guess I will need to add another shelf to my TBR.

Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters are interesting. Faith and her sister lost everything the family the family ranch and most of the horses. The Bank took the land so all Faith thought of was work so she can save enough to pay for her and her sister to go and live with their Aunt. Faith kept knocking back marriage proposals, went to a brothel and finding out what is expected.

Awesome twist.
Do you know what I love more than great characters it is when an author gives me something that I did not expect. That is what this book did. I expected a certain type of story and yes it started out that way but it sure did not end like that. Awesome job by the author along with super characters this book was a winner for me. Enjoyed the story. Faith’s virginity was auctioned at a brothel and was purchased by Eric, to share with his twin brother Daniel for a week. The problem is Eric has fallen in love with Faith and does not really want to share. There are a lot of misunderstandings and hurt feelings that are eventually corrected. The book is very erotic in the sexual interaction between the three of them with BDSM added. I enjoyed the story and it is a good read.

Their Soiled Dove is the third book of the Return to the McKenzies series. It is a stand-alone read which I enjoyed reading. There are plenty of intimate scenes. If you like ménage and BDSM, you might want to buy this book.
