Rushed and the time jumps made no sense. Lots of potential but felt like the other books with different plots. No real drama or relationship development with the main characters. They had two conversations outside of the girls and boom they together? I thought Jane got remarried? What ever happen with her plan? You just abandoned it after getting us worked up for it.
I feel cheated.
And was Kelly black? Because you didn’t describe her as anything but being big over and over again.
I gave this book 5star's because it was so well-written and healthy for today's climate of uncertainty. It shows that love is love no matter the color. I LOVED that it took me there, and brought me back with its realism and truth-telling. What I disliked about the book is that it ended when it did. I wanted her to have triplets. I would highly recommend this book for a break from hard-work, a few hours of of relaxation and happiness. I truly enjoyed this book. Thank you Ms. Daily for writing it.
Really enjoyable story. Kelly is very happy with her restaurant, in fact she is thinking about expanding. But someone has another idea. Arson. Now what, Michael and his two daughters really enjoyed the food at Kelly's restaurant, they need a new chef since their old one quit. Kelly agreed to be their chef until she get her restaurant back up. This story had jealousy ex-wife, crazy ex-boyfriend, arson, and HEA,
I don't know where to begin. Note to self and book with that cheap graphic art is usually trash. This book is no exception. The characters had zero chemistry , the plot was thrown together and the author somehow managed to not used the one think that makes any story good, the children. She barely had any interaction with the kids, so I was confused that they seem to have a relationship. The sit up with the exes was after thought. The book was a waste of time
Too much repetition. How many times do we have to hear how old the daughter's were? How many times do we need to hear about the bad ex boyfriend? And too little conclusion. The wrap up was so fast if I blinked too fast, I might have missed it. One last thing: Marco talks about an ex named Tom in one paragraph, but two paragraphs later his name was Sam. No!
I give this book 10 stars out of ten because it was well written the author know how to mix sensuality with business and that is what I have gotten from this book I could not put it down because I wanted to know if Kelly and Michael will be together or will they relationship faulted I leave that up to you if you read the book then you will know the answer as well as I do
Excellent read.. right from the start Michael knew exactly what he wanted!!!! As well as his daughters... I enjoyed this book
Emily and Jorge meant the world to their father Michael... Emily spoke her mind without hesitation.. She had I’ll feelings for her mom.. However, the new chef became her protector... Excellent read
Kelly and Michael were both trying to get over their exes and focus on work but situations arise that makes them have a need for each other in more ways than one. Kelly fit right in with Michael, Emily, and Jorga something that even Jane wasn't able to do. I'm glad that they got their HEA with Baby Jordan and Kamarn got caught for his actions.
Michael and Kelly's story was easy and fun to read. There was just happiness throughout their relationship. The amount of "adult" honesty was refreshing. There was not a lot of angst or secrets, which for me made this a true love story. Truly just a joyful happy story
Quick read. Michael and Kelly had an instant attraction but took slow to seal the deal. It's refreshing when the hero is honest with everyone involved leaves no room for lies and deceit. The kids were just as lovely and I'm glad Jane wasn't a pain. HEA minimum drama and likeable characters.
I liked this one better than the first. I like Michael, Kelly even Jane but I love the kids. Emily and Jorga are funny and honest. The one issue I had was Jane, she was written to be this villain and there was so much potential for her to be bad but all of a sudden she just changed and I wanted more from her.
Vegan soul food would be an interesting menu to see. Building dreams together along with their family...all with honesty from a man of integrity. Fully enjoyed it!😁
This was a cute book. The characters were extremely likable, even the children. I thought the ex wife was going to be a real problem but even she seemed to learn her lesson.
I have committed to finishing this series but yet again a lack of passion, lust, romance was missing. Kelly was sweet and Michael was a great father I just think this story needed some salt to cut through the blandness. Good story concept and good editing.
I really enjoyed the characters The book was good and written well I started and read straight through If you are looking for a quick read . You should definitely read this
Very tame book. Enjoyed it for the most part but the story line was too predictable. No splash of any kind. Could have used some more vegan food references, ingredients used and recipes. This would educate people about eating vegan.
The writing isn’t the best, but it is a good story with a lot of heart. Don’t mean exactly that the writing was bad, it wasn’t, but it was very readable. Recommended
I really loved it. I liked how they fell in love and respected each other so much. Everything flowed well. Also him falling in love with her cooking was great. Ye away to a man's heart sometime can be through his stomach.
I enjoy the author’s storyline and characters, it is the conflict resolution in this series that always falls a flat. It’s like this is the conflict now it resolved, happy ever after.
This could of been a great book but it was rushed and lacked passion which in the end made it corny. Its a shame because it had a set up for a great story.
