Dust off your boots and string the lights, Christmas has come to Rock Springs, Texas!
Lilly
Grateful to have a break from my trucking route, a casual visit to a friend completely altered my holiday plans. Stuck there by a surprise blizzard, I decided to make good use of my time and help prepare the ranch for the festivities to come. The fact that ranch hand, Mike, is hotter than a chestnut roasted on an open fire is just an added gift for me. As I listen to him talk about his plans and lofty goals, I find myself aching to meet him under the mistletoe. It would take a Christmas miracle to keep me off the open road. But one look at Mike and I’m suddenly hoping Santa has one more trick up his sleeve.

This book was absolutely fantastic and I found myself wanting to read the other books in this series that I'm so hooked on now. I can't wait for more from this author
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Lilly is independent and has always preferred the freedom of the open road rather but seeing her best friend sounds like a great way to spend the holidays. What she wasn’t expecting was the attraction she would feel for Mike or the fact that the lure of traveling doesn’t seem as appealing as it used to.
Mike’s dream of owning his own ranch and helping those animals who need it the most is almost within his grasp. There is no denying the connection and chemistry between them and now he just needs to convince her that the only place she belongs is with him.
This is a heartwarming story about finding love when and with whom you least expect it and realizing how special it is once you find it.
I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. Welcome back to Rock Springs, Texas. This is the love story between Lilly and Mike. I really enjoyed this story and can easily see how Kaci hooks a reader into the entire series. So many great characters I want to get the stories of!
I'm not even normally a cowboy romance kinda gal, but this really did rope me in (pardon the pun).
The romance and steam fit the characters and the storyline - Mike and Lilly were so good together.
I loved that Lilly worked in a male dominated field and Mike didn't even bat an eye about it. She didn't have to lessen herself and her skills to fit in with her new found friends or Mike. Loved it.
Now to go see which books I've not read in the series (yup I'm a hopper) and go catch up!
What a wonderful story about Christmas, Mistletoe and what happens when that kiss is so special! These two have an awesome connection, both have goals just not sure how they both fit into each other's plans. Join in their journey and see how their feelings will bring them to what is meant to be.
I received an ARC of “The Cowboy and His Mistletoe Kiss” by Kaci Rose in agreement to offer a review.
This is book six in the Rock Springs Series (if you don’t count the wedding novella, which was its self a nice trip down memory lane)
It was good to get some back story on a couple of the other characters in the series and watch them move forward with their own plans, relationships, foibles and “hiccups”.
I had formed a mental image of Lilly when she appeared in the first book, rescuing Riley the Runaway - and as this story unfolded, as she and Mike grew closer together, my mind’s eye saw her apparent age, appearance and aspirations morph several times. (I wish she and Kit Kat had been there to help me get my ’41 Plymouth running.)
By the time she and Mike had overcome the story’s inevitable hiccup, or pothole, as some have noted, I was charmed, mesmerized and hooked.
I could have told Lilly, as she formulated her plans for Mike’s Christmas present - she really, really should have seen that coming . . . .
Also, I do wish our author had given us more of Black Diamond’s progress. . . . Maybe Maggie will help with that.
I know a third act break up is standard. What I'm not okay with is the reaction to a gift. It's like me losing my mind over being given a new car. If my husband had created a new car payment or mortgage then maybe I'd flip a little. But as far as the story goes the property was bought outright. So, she's not saddling them with a new mortgage and no way to pay it. His male pride was hurt and that's never apologized for or even addressed. I get that he wanted to be a part of the process but, she hands him his dream and he doesn't even say thank you. She puts in all this effort only for him to throw a fit. I would have been perfectly okay with them breaking up and her enjoying her new home. His being a jerk is worth the break up. He is showing you who he is. Honeymoon over. The timeline and the inclusion of every other character from previous books had already knocked it down to a three. But it boils down to they don't know each other. He isn't secure enough to be in love with a boss babe. And next time she wants to be in charge she'll hesitate because he might not like it. Sorry, may be projecting on that last part. But not saying thank you to how much work she put in to give you a gift is not. Appreciation is so important.
Lily is in Rock Springs, Texas, visiting with her good friend Riley. Lily is a long-distance trucker and during one of her rides met Riley who was hitchhiking and running for her life. Riley is now married and expecting their first child and wants Lily near her for the birth and Christmas. It is while visiting Riley that she meets Mike, the head ranch hand, and the attraction between them is immediate. Mike has been working for years to finance the purchase of his own ranch for abused horses. He is not sure how Lily will fit into those plans, but he needs to find out. Slowly their love blazes out of control and they need to see what the future holds. I liked that Lily’s character is unique, a strong female who can drive a semi and repair her own truck. A beautiful and sensuous romance and the mention of previous characters adds to the special “friends and family” feeling of the story. I received a complimentary copy of this book and I am voluntarily reviewing it.
While this is a part of a series and some of the prior characters make multiple appearances, you don’t have to read them to fully enjoy this story.
Lilly is the truck driver who rescued (Riley in a prior story). She sold her home in Tulsa when her parents and sister leave. It isn’t home any more. She is trying to figure out where to put down roots, a place to come home to after spending time on the road driving a big rig. Mike is the senior cowboy on Sage and Colt’s ranch. He dreams of running his own ranch someday. He wants to help rehabilitate horses and run a camp for kids.
Can these two come together and mingle their dreams into one? Will Lilly give up driving and settle down? Can Mike find a ranch that will fit into his dream?
Having the dual POV format that this story was written in really helped me to connect with both of the characters. This is a sexy story. That being said, I would only recommend this to someone over the age of 18 especially if you love cowboys!
I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this book thru Story Origin and am voluntarily leaving my review. Lily is a trucker on a run when she picks up a hitchhiker named Riley, and they become very close friends. Lily is in Rock Springs to visit Riley. Riley is now married and expecting her first child. She wanted Lily to be there for the birth and for Christmas. She meets Mike, a ranch hand who wants to buy his own ranch and take care of abused horses. Mike and Lily are drawn to each other and the attraction grows, but they don't know if they have a real chance at happiness since their lives are so different. Will they be able to find a way so they can get their HEA? It was so good, I read it in one sitting. I have enjoyed this entire series and highly recommend it. Patsy Sacco
Lilly comes to Rock Springs to visit her very pregnant friend, Riley, and is stuck in an unexpected blizzard. She loves her traveling life as a trucker - she doesn't just drive the big rigs, but she can fix 'em when they break down. Mike is rooted in Texas, trying to work out financing for his own ranch - a rescue for abused horses. They have some terrific attraction between them, a very slow burn, but she doesn't want to be tied down to just one place. The Christmas spirit, along with a little bit of mistletoe, work their magic to help Lilly and Mike learn to compromise as they begin their journey of trust and love.

I really liked this book and will need to read the others in the series! You don’t need to read them to enjoy this book, but I’m interested in the backstory of other characters. This story focuses on Mike and Lilly. Mike is a ranch hand looking to start his own ranch for helping abused animals. Lilly is a truck driver who is friends with the people that own the ranch. The relationship develops between Mike and Lilly in such a sweet and steamy way. They seem to understand each other and their dreams. Slight misunderstanding threatens their happiness but it’s nothing that soulmates can’t overcome. Really great book.

This is the story of Lilly (Riley's truckdriver friend) and Mike who is the senior ranchhand on Sage's ranch.
There is nothing like a Texas cowboy - a man with a deep, husky southern drawl, all cowboy in a tight pair of wranglers, cowboy boots, and a flannel shirt. His tan skin shows he's not afraid of hard work, and a hint of bark, brown hair peeking out from under his Cowboy hat.
Mike looks at Lilly like she hung the moon and stars, treats her like gold and loves her with everything he has.
"When there are sparks during a mistletoe kiss, it's because two soul mates have been brought together by Christmas magic."
This was a nice story, Riley and Blaze have their baby and all of Sage's siblings are married. Happy reading!
This is a fine romance with a lot of Christmas spirit in it. There is also a lot of life in general, the value of friends and overall is simply a fine romance. Of course if you are a holiday fan this story should certainly tick in some boxes as well. The storyline is good and the characters are really well written out. There were a few too many typos or words in wrong places or missing words, but I am sure that will be taken care of before publishing. So a story very deserving of the fine four stars I am giving it here.

Lilly is back in Rocks Springs Texas to visit her friend Riley and await the birth of her first baby. Taking a break from being a trucker is perfect for her, then she is trapped by a blizzard. While there she meets Mike a ranch hand. Mike wants to buy a own and run a ranch for abused horses. It is an istant attraction but they have different lives, can they make it work. Mike is wonderful and so was Lilly. Lilly is a strong woman who drives a semi. The supporting characters were just as amazing. This is a wonderful holiday story that has all the warm cozy feelings.

I so love this series. Each book can be read as a stand alone, but each couple from the previous books play a minor roll in the current story. They are all so well written and there is a underlying story line that is progressive.
Awesome characters that you can not help, but to fall in love with them. Amazing story lines, engaging dialogue and beautifully written, detailed descriptions.
Written as a 1st person, multi pov with a HFN ending which we all know will end with a HEA.
Would I recommend this book? Yes
Would I read more from this author? Yes

‘The Cowboy and His Mistletoe Kiss’ was heartfelt. The plot involved a chance meeting, sharing a dream for the future, strengthening a friendship, preparing for the holidays, spending more time with a certain person, celebrating a new life on the ranch, meeting the family, making the wrong move, having a falling out, getting help for the abused horse, a reconciliation, and making some intentions known. Moreover, Lilly and Mike, the protagonists, worked well together and emanated chemistry. Additionally, I appreciated the author’s vivid descriptions, which created an upbeat tone. Overall, I liked the touching narrative.
This was a sweet story but I had some difficulties following it and everyone. It can be read as a standalone but you really should read all the other books to know who everyone is and what their backstory is about. It was nice to read how the love between Lilly and Mike grows and it was so romantic in this Christmas setting with snow... The way they are drawn to each other was beautiful. A nice read during the holiday season.

Lily is a independent trucker & she came for Riley to celebrate her new life. I have never read a character like her and want to learn more about her in the previous books
Mike got his dream of owning his own ranch. Same for this hottie !! I want to learn more about him from the previous books too
Adorable, steamy & perfect pace story. Both of them do care about each other and they want their lives to fix together. Feel the sparks off the page ❤ I want to read the previous books. Texas sounds like a beautiful & full of adventure of love
The Cowboy and His Mistletoe Kiss is a standalone story in the Rock Springs series. Although you can read it as a standalone (which I did, I’ve only read book 1) it is about characters who already made an appearance in previous books. The two main characters Lilly and Mike are like two peas in a pod, they’re perfect together. I liked this story very much. It’s well written, has a lovely storyline and gives you all these warm Christmas feelings. A great holiday read.
I received an arc of this book and this is my voluntary and honest opinion.
An engaging story that grabs your attention and pulls you in. The characters are fun to get to know, engaging, and easy to fall in love with. The story is well written and flows smoothly through the pages. Mike and Lilly's journey to HEA has it's ups and downs like most relationships and makes it a story that's easy to relate too. A great read for the upcoming winter season where you may be snowed in for a weekend.

Miss Rose did a fantastic job on this read. Mike and Lillys story is such a great read I couldn't put it down. In all the other books before this I never could picture them together only because of her line of work and his, but I was so wrong. They have such a chemistry it comes out of the book and hits you. I absolutely love Mike and Lillys story and can't wait to read more about there future. If you love babies, horses, love and some twist this is a book you can't pass up. A MUST READ! You might want some tissues.
I'm so glad that Lilly was given her own book in this series since her appearance in the previous book that brought Riley to Rock Springs. This is a really feel-good story that plays out during the wonderful Christmas season the big, happy family celebrates every year. And the family keeps growing and growing! I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.
I was given an advance copy of this book in return for an honest review.
There's something about small town romances and consuming love stories with cowboys that really make my heart all warm and fuzzy.
I love the slow burn of the love between Lilly and Mike. And the decision to make things work despite both their hesitations at the start. It was a push and pull that feels very real and yet also feels a bit on the fairytale side in that fate really did bring them together. And who wouldn't want fate to step in and lead you to the love of your life.
A great story, with minor conflicts and a whole lot of love on my favourite holiday besides my birthday, Christmas really is magic!
This was a really nice story, circumstances can bring people together and in this case it was a friend who was close to giving birth. Due to a snow storm Lilly met Mike and their attraction was instant, their chemistry was hot and they were so good together. This was an easy read and I was able to read it in one sitting.
