Dr. Michael Savage is a multimedia icon in the conservative movement. The Telegraph in the U.K. ranked him as one of the most influential conservatives in the United States, and with 10 million weekly listeners, the Berkeley Ph.D. is the third most listened to conservative talk show host. Recently featured in The New Yorker and Playboy, Dr. Savage is the author of many books, including the political thriller Abuse of Power and four New York Times bestsellers. His media presence and profile earned him the coveted Freedom of Speech Award from Talkers magazine in 2007.

Don't let the haters and naysayers detract from a great book. Their politics cloud their judgment. This is some of Savage's best work, and really highlights the fight that we're in for America's soul, and it's survival.

Very opinionated without many sources mentioned. I struggled to finish this even though there were a few things I agree with. Savage used big generalizations, dramatic language and a us verses them mind frame all through the book which made it hard to take seriously.

This book is a urgent call to the true Americans, to the patriots, to the defenders of freedom. You need to wake up and take charge because democracy is being threatened. If we don’t correct this course, America will be lost.
