Heath Overton is missing, and his wives want him back…

When the Overton clan — one husband, three almost-sister-wives, and their eleven children — arrive in Mallard Bay, summer on the Eastern Shore heats up. The Overtons and their television show are ready for prime time until the family patriarch disappears. Lightning Strike Films wants their leading man in front of the cameras in two weeks, and Heath Overton’s wives want him home yesterday. Everyone’s upset, even before the murders start.

It’s been nearly two years since attorney Grace Reagan landed in the touristy little town on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, and so far, every one of her plans to leave has backfired. This time it’s Grace herself who’s holding up progress. She may, or may not, be getting married. Or going to France for her dream vacation. Or starting over somewhere on the far side of The Bridge. She has big decisions to make, but first, her new clients need help. As the body count rises, Grace is torn between her duties and the fast-moving changes in her own life. Can she stop the killings before she becomes the next victim?

Bad Intent is the third book in the Eastern Shore Mystery series.

Come back to Mallard Bay — the weather’s fine, the water’s warm and murder is on the menu!

Cheril Thomas is the author of the Eastern Shore Mysteries series. She is also the co-author of a mystery novel, Whispers, and is a published short fiction author. When she's not writing at home in Easton, Maryland, she's traveling with her long-suffering husband, an otherwise brilliant soul who doesn't seem to mind being married to a woman who researches methods of murder. Together, they live to serve Gracie the Wonder Dog, a too-smart-for-her-own-good shaggy black Goldendoodle.

3rd book in this series. You think you have a lot of kids … well read this book. Meet the Overtons, 3 wives, 1 husband and 11 children.
This is not a HEA story, you need to read and find out who is the crazy one!
Grace is looking forward to her France vacation, but not so fast, she has a surprise of her own!
Leo is doing well, 3 ladies spoiling him. What’s going on in Delaney House, well how about an Inn with Nikki!
Enjoy

Another Mystery that can't be put down

This is another story of Grace Reagan, and the Delaney family. This time the folks are two sisters who decided to share a husband. He decides they need a third wife. They have set up a contract to do day reality show. But he disappears. And things get worse and worse. Fun read with twists and turns

This is the best mystery yet from Cheril Thomas. She provides a cast of characters ranging from quirky to crazy, continues to develop the recurring characters in the series, then just puts readers on the edge of their seats. The plot is twisty and surprising, and overall, this is a solid page turner I thoroughly enjoyed.

I Enjoyed It

Living on the Eastern Shore of Maryland was the reason I picked up her 1st book. Her storytelling, characters and setting have kept me reading the next book in the series! I definitely recommend this series!

keeps getting better

Grace and her clients’ problems are thoroughly entertaining and her love life is such a mess it reminds me if a train wreck: you just can’t look away. On to the next installment.

Loving the series!

I enjoyed this third book in The Eastern Shore Mysteries for a couple reasons 1- no blood and guts 2- all the characters are believable.

fun summer reading

The characters in the book are fun and intriguing. Plot twists are everywhere but (usually) the bad guys get caught. Very enjoyable to read.

Five stars for good writing. But what a crazy story, too many twists, and an in-your-face pushy neighbor pretending she knows how to solve crime. Surprise ending.
