Brielle St. James, star of a popular reality show, just might enjoy the spotlight and attention a little too much. She makes no excuses about who she is, what she likes, or what she feels she deserves. A man who wants to be with her will bend because Brielle refuses to, not even a little. Especially if that man happens to be a deadly, gorgeous, anal-retentive, bodyguard, whose smile makes her want to act totally out of character and do whatever he asks.
Justin Jian guarded the princess of reality television as a favor to a friend. But he already had an almost irrational urge to protect her at all costs, spurred by the haunted look in her eyes on their first encounter. He also had an almost irrational desire for her; and though he vowed it would never be sated, somehow Brielle forced her way under his armor. The result was a night of volcanic passion, but the next morning Brielle’s smart and sassy mouth quickly washed away any thoughts of a future together.
Years pass and Brielle’s star has faded a bit, but her desperation to get it back exposes her to some unsavory people. After she is kidnapped and secreted to a foreign country, Justin runs headfirst into Hell, with rescue on his mind. He seems ready to risk it all for Brielle, but can she convince herself that he means more than the fame she covets?

Shea is a woman in love with the idea of love so it’s no wonder she writes Romance Novels. The East Coast native is a romantic to her core and reads and watches anything with a love story. She especially likes binge watching Romance TV around Christmas time.
She enjoys meeting people and chatting, collecting Barbie dolls, toys, anime, and is addicted to The Sims games. Shea also loves music and has mentioned that she writes better when she has music playing as white noise in the background.
This exciting author writes Adult Romance in the sub-genres of Contemporary, New Adult, Paranormal, Sci-Fi, and Erotica.

Im tempted to do a 1 Star but Ill give the author a little credit
Im shocked at how bad this book was when the 1st book in the series was amazing. Heaven on Hell Island was great with nice twists and an semi original subplot. But this book seems like it was thrown together. Like the author had a bunch of ideas as to how and where to take the story and decided on all of them instead of one. Brielle is TERRIBLE and honestly shes not really redeemed for me by the end. The only redeeming portion of this book is the sense of family and its mainly from the other side characters. Trust me on this - if you have to spend money - buy the first book Heaven on Hell Island (its worth it) - DO NOT waste money on this.
The second book in this series was not as good as the first. The ending felt rushed, and the author started laying the groundwork for the third book without giving Brie and Justin a fitting end or epilogue. There were also unexplained gaps in the storyline-
***Spoiler Alert***
After their rescue, Justin was recuperating for a whole five months, and there was no explanation as to why it took so long. He just showed up at Brie's house to reconcile with her. This story had great potential to be a 4, possibly 5 star book, but fell short.

Not as intense as the first book. But, apparently, it leads to more drama in future books. Things just that ended with Brie & Justin! I would like to know more about his bio family.
A little difficult to follow the story at times, some points were mentioned once and forgotten about making them kind of irrelevant to the narrative. Only my opinion, some might love it.
I loved this book! Justin was like an Asian James Bond! Talented and deadly. Bri the spoiled sister was his perfect mate. Colin is the man! I want his story now!!! Lol
You know where it's headed right from the start. I mean once they mentioned Dennis...in your head you're like this isn't going to end well. But it's also why one asks' why did Brielle for one minute agree to that meeting?!? I didn't care for Brielles' character from Heaven on Hell Island. Her immaturity, constant need for attention and her insecurities got on the last nerve. There's plenty of action from the kidnapping to the rescue and eventual reckoning to soothe the irritation over Brielles' antics. I didn't really feel this as a romantic/thriller though; unlike the first installment. I felt the suspense and drama but not the connection between Justin & Brie. That part just fell flat. But I am fine with that since all the rest of the story more than makes up for it. No litany of editing errors..not too many of overly detailed raunchy sex scenes; but a fast paced well developed tale that held interest from start to finish. So looking forward to the next installment.
Proposal From Hell by Shea Swain was well worth the wait. The storyline is action-packed, suspenseful and mysterious and sensual. Brielle had to grow up in PFH. She is spoiled and wanted her way in all things but she learned. Justin was deadly when it came fighting and protecting what was his...Brielle. Brielle was kidnapped and he was ready to kill anything or body to get her back. He did just that!! Colin's story is next and he is stone-cold killer. Awesome series.🥰
This - was brilliant! Not only did it have the BWAM love story which I haven't seen more of. But each action, steam, plotline and more was so exciting that I could not put it down.
Shea has done it again. And has done it wonderfully that I wasn't bored at all! Love that.
The.chemistiry between the two characters was electric and the past/present flowed beautifully x
Brielle and Justin’s book was so different from the one for Bleu and Chris! It was filled with the drama of people doing things no regular or normal ones would do! It takes you into a different world where more is possible for those who have special ability or that can believe! 😲
The first book in this series is a favorite of mine and the second book doesn't disappoint! Such intriguing storylines and subplots with relatable characters. Ms. Swain has yet to disappoint!
