About the author

Dev Kumari Thapa was a Nepali short story writer. Her first published work is a short story 'Patan' which was published in Gorkha Newspaper from Darjeeling. She has been awarded with Prestigious award Uttam Shanti Puraskar for her essay collections 'Shyand, Bichar ra Smritiharu'. She was also a member of Royal Nepal Academy.
