This series kept me on edge..A perfect mix of Suspense & danger, Drama, love, babies!😍, New age, paranormal, brotherhood and MC🔥
(This review is quite long, so bear with me! *Pun totally intended*)
#My 1st series by Celeste Raye, I'm excited for more!
Received an ARC in exchange for a honest review.
Some scenes could have been better explained but overall, this series is fantastic! I liked that we see the couples in every book! These guys are so fertile! Babies popping in every book😁, not that I'm complaining xD. I kinda loved it!
Loved the grand ending.
Book 1: Alpha Bear's Protection, Jake & Alexis's story❤ (Both bears)
Jake is the eldest brother, in line to become alpha of their Clan (criminal activities involved). Alexis is of enemy clan. The blurb explains how they met.
Seeing her, Jake's protective instincts came forth, he knew at a glance that she was innocent, wrong time-wrong place thingy.
He won't kill her & Can't leave her, so he took her captive. Much to everyone's dismay.
God, he was a total gentleman with her, it was cute😍 though he was her captor, he was charming, had saved her, treated her with respect, how couldn't she fall for him?
His dad-Dean's anger was justified at 1st, Jake was totally smitten with Alexis. But what he did.. was horrible!
Made Her Gone & made it seem like she escaped.
Jake was destroyed & wallowed in Sadness, but was happy that she was happy.. free.
A few weeks later, By chance, the brothers came to know about an shipment & hence finding about their father's extent of cruelness.
Overthrowing him was required.
But when Jake came to know what Dean did to Alexis(& that Donovan helped, unknowingly but still!), he was furious.
He vowed to find her.
There, Alexis was sold multiple times to slavery (I'm so happy that there was no sexual harassment..), heavily pregnant with Jake's baby, she hoped that he'll come to rescue her & knew she had to find a way out. I admire her strength.
Oh god, Jake's timing was great! Just when she ran away & their baby was coming😍 (imagine his surprise & happiness❤)
It seemed HEA was in store.. But then Dean attacked.
Will they lose their Clan? Will Dean die?
I hadn't liked her dad at 1st, but I'm glad he helped in the fight!
After all they've been through, Happiness & family was well deserved❤
Book 2: Bear's Baby, Donovan & Claire's story❤ (Bear-Human)
Don is the 2nd brother. Don had been on their father's side for many years, but after the brothers found the truth, Don has changed side. But it was hard for his brothers to trust him fully.
In this book, Don starts a mission to prove his loyalty & correct some of his dad's mistakes. To make allies of the enemies.
During it, he found Claire & saved her from being attacked. Then she became her travel companion. Not only was she a human who knew too much but There was something about her that he couldn't resist.. a Fierceness. (Don is such a sweetie, I love him!)
Though shifter & human relations are sorta taboo, as they traveled, their intimacy grew & even though He resisted at 1st (she's pretty passionate for what she wants!) soon they did the deed😁
(& made a baby as the title suggests😍 I can't believe that the baby plays an important role for the shifters to accept humans as the witch suggest..wow!)
We got to know a lot about this shifter-world & saw many! It was fun.
He knew she may be pregnant & they wanted their relationship, so they came to his clan early..But..
Dean is back! Ooof😅 & his brothers are missing..
Now he had to do what he didn't previously, kill Dean.
& The stakes have never been higher..
Wow, the old witch was a big help! Found her brothers.. & by the title she's gonna play a big part in the next story😁
Though they seemed incredulous at 1st, I'm happy they accepted Claire!
Book 3: Bear's forbidden witch, Charlie & Celeste's story❤ (Bear-Witch)
Charlie is the 3rd brother. He envies Jake & Don's love lives & wants an adventure himself. Here he will😁
Jake & Don go off to solve some problems with the Bennigans (a new ally) leaving Charlie as the leader.
Evelyn-the old witch wants her favor (for her help to Don) Though Charlie is suspicious at 1st, After a bomb blast & lot of wounds (Eve's strong!), He agrees to help.
Eve's niece is missing & I'm happy he found her! Her virginity has almost been stolen & a marriage thrust upon her.
Celeste is strong-willed & wants a break from all the obligations in her life. 'Cause of her powers she've never been free.
But the time with Charlie was different. He was gentle, charming, Hot🔥. The sparks flew b/w them, Sex was inevitable! XD she wanted one time, but he craved forever.
Her aunt has other plans! When she found what they'd done, she forced them to marry.
Though Charlie was quite happy😂 & Seriously, even if she was fuming at 1st, that's what Celeste wants too! (Maybe because of their love, baby incoming & Eve's curse😁)
Loved their marriage ceremony!
But when Jake came back, hell broke loose..
A war is on horizon with the B's & Celeste might be their only chance to survive..
I'm sure they'll accept her! Even if it'll take time.
I love Celeste's power! She's so strong.
Btw, where does those ancients came from giving threats of judgement? I'm sure we'll get to know about it in the next book!
Book 4: Bear's wolf virgin, Fred & Isabo's book❤ (Bear-Wolf)
Fred is the youngest brother, he's quiet, introvert & observant. Isabo's of enemy clan.
Jake & Don are off to recruit new members. Charlie & Celeste are honeymooning. So Fred's in charge. It's new, but he's getting a hang of it.
Jasper & Brick Bennigan want revenge for the killing of their clan & seeing Fred, they saw a chance to lure Don & Celeste out.
They used Isabo(their cousin) to seduce Fred but some time with him & she knew he was innocent. This was wrong.
They've an instant connection. Fell hard & fast. Maybe they'll have a future?
But then F's kidnapped, She goes to the clan for help,& Jake gives himself to Jasper to free Fred.
Fred's mad at her betrayal & Jake being in danger. But with some thinking, he understands. She really was Just trying to save him.
Initially he went to talk, but then they get *sidetracked*. Fred & Isabo spend an unforgettable night (omg, they're both virgins!) & Fred knew she's the one for him, & wanted to help.
So she makes a deal with Rebel bears to save Jake & her last family. But the plan goes horribly wrong, Jasper & Brick gets killed. (I'm not sad, they tortured Fred & Jake, it was well worth it!)
How can she live with the killer of her family? She takes off.
She tries to stay away but she wants revenge, so she goes to the ancients that were already onto the bears.
Trial commences (The ancients are scary!). Seeing Isabo after months, Fred's happy (even if the cause isn't great), he wants to have a chance. But she won't listen.
But, when he founds out she's pregnant with his baby, all bets are off. Even if it takes months, he'll win her heart back.
I knew the ancients will be a problem but I'm happy they took care of it! I love the witch's power❤
Even though it took more time than I liked, Fred won Isabo's heart, though he had it always😍 I loved these two!
Book 5: Bear's vampire mate, Scott & Jessica's story❤ (Bear-quarter vamp)
It's been a week since the incident with The Ancients, everyone is in celebration mood.
But a series of bad happenings alarm the brothers, Evelyn confirms what they already Thought- They've been cursed & to break it, they'd to find the brother they never knew about.
(I liked how we get to see the problem from Jake & Celeste's view before & then from Scott & Jessica)
Jake is sad they never get down time, this unknown brother is a new problem, he may be bad & knowing he's the oldest, he could be a problem to Jake's alpha status.
But Scott is Good. He's a bouncer & before the Brothers barreled into his life, thought himself as a human. (I & Scott both liked Fred's empathy to him!)
When he got the gist of the life-death situation, he agreed to help them immediately. This was a lot to take in, but he was happy to find a place where he Belonged.
The curse part was over pretty quickly, but it came to bite in the ass later..
Jessica was part of their gang. She helped when he needed & he felt something special b/w them. But she was already promised to someone else(Not that she liked it!) She was off limits, so Jake warned.
A kiss was all it took for him to crave forever & even after knowing her true form, he loved her (Did I tell she's a virgin?)
She wanted him, loved him & even though a fight commenced, They won & Married! (Gonna have a baby😁!) It was fast, surprising but Perfect❤
But when they came back from honeymoon, The clubhouse was gone. Burned.
The rest of the ancients had come to take revenge..
It was a scary time, but I'm happy these two found the Ancients whereabouts & the witches help to destroy them! Jessica Died! & I'm so happy for her vamp side! Oof, at end everyone was safe❤
*I'm happy they Thought of becoming legit, no more criminal activities. They've endured so much! They all deserve to feel safe, happy. & Security seems a good business for them😍*
P.s. Now that I've completed this, I'm gonna miss these brothers! Loved them all❤

This well-developed box set includes lots of clan politics and inter clan war, racial bias around humans, witches and vampires and an ancient curse. You will be hooked from the first book to the last and still want more. The attractions between each individual brother and his mate will cause trouble at times, but are well worth the effort they put into their relationships. The twists and turns in each book, make it hard to put them down. I enjoyed this set of stories and highly recommend them to shifter lovers everywhere.

The Bears Good stories ,with finally as HAPPILY ever after, but still left me wThe anting...
I had trouble with with several cliffhangers. Luckily, having a complete set solved some of that problem. Then there was the issue of not being able to follow the timeline in places as the storyline stopped abruptly and then in the next chapter skipped ahead several months, such as in " The Bear's Wolf Virgin". Again, continuing to read through the complete set allowed me to piece together the plot and timing of events. But I think I was most bothered by this feeling that I was reaching the climax of the story only to have it end suddenly. It left me wanting something more to complete the story. It was a good storyline but just not as satisfying as I usually find shifter romance.

I don't know what to say.
I don't normally do bad reviews. Most of the time of I can't give a good review I just give it a pass. But on this series I have to say something.
I will say that there seems to be a fairly decent storyline. However, the writing is immature and unprofessional. There is a lot of improper word usage. I simply found these stories difficult to read.
I'm sorry to have to say such things about such a prolific writer. I can only hope that with time the writing improved. I, however, will not be reading anymore books by Celeste Raye.

Rebel Bears MR and the women that game them
Another hit by Celeste Raye, I usually don't read the motor cycle gang books. Being a fan of Celeste Raye books I decided to give it a try and loved the series about a Bear Shifters motorcycle gang called the Rebel Bears. Jake the oldest brother and the heir apparent to lead the gang after his father had a very different view of how the gang should run than his father's. The storylines and characters in the series fresh to in and kept you quessing.

Rebel Bears MC
I've never done this before. I love shifter books, I love MC books, so when I was this I thought great & bought it. I made it as far as half way through the first book& gave up. MC's always tell you they are a club, this keeps saying it's a gang. Most shifter packs have an Alpha then a beta this one dosnt. I've never done this before. I love shifter books, I love MC books, so when I was this I thought great & bought it. I made it as far as half way through the first book& gave up. MC's always tell you they are a club, this keeps saying it's a gang. Most shifter packs have an Alpha then a beta this one dosnt. Really enjoyed these. Strong, sexy alpha male bear bikers and the feisty, strong women they end up with. Each story is interconnected with the first one. They have so much emotion, drama, intrigue, danger, suspense and so much more. I started reading them and could not put it down. They are well written and recommended. I received a review copy and voluntarily review it.

Five individual novels telling one overarching story. I like a few of the stories more than others so that’s why my rating total is 4 stars. The writing focuses on the individual couples and their romances and is light on the paranormal backstory or depth. It’s a fun, easy read of five brothers and their unusual mates!

This was an interesting and intriguing series that I believe everyone can enjoy. It has a lot of different types of magical beings, and the intensity that comes along with them.
