Absolutely Awesome Read, well written, great characters, Awesome story line, easy read to hold you on their journey, this genre might not be for everyone but its a really wonderful story cannot wait for more from this Author.

This is book 2 in The Lycan Mating Games series and while you could read it as a stand-alone, you would benefit reading Finn book 1.
The characters are good and the storyline has twists and turns, some surprises and plenty of steam. Some questions from book 1 have been mostly answered, but now with that ending I have so many more lol!

Hot, action packed and exciting, this well written book will hold your attention from start to finish
James is set 20ish years after Finn . Whilst you could read it stand alone, I would recommend reading the first book so that you fully understand the background to this story. It's not a hardship as both books are fun, hot and entertaining reads. This book totally drew me in and I found myself reading late into the night, wanting to finish it. Exhaustion won out, but I grabbed it the next morning and devoured the last few chapters STAT.
The book starts halfway through Ella and James escaping from the GMU. Alone, afraid and with Ella seriously hurt James takes a stranger up on his offer of help. That stranger and his business partner are familiar faces from book #1. Along with the help of some co-workers they teach James and Ella some of the things they need to know in life.
We then get a period of time in the book where the relationship developed between James and Ella. Given the setting they were in, and the lifestyle they were exposed to, it wasn't surprising how quickly it evolved into a very explosive sexual situation. What follows are some incredibly hot scenes, including some BDSM play and exhibitionism. Whilst these scenes flow incredibly well, and the passion between James and Ella was very believable, after a little reflection time I see a few 'faults in the pattern' and have a few 'I wish that...' moments.
As genetically modified and highly intelligent lycans, I can sort of accept that James and Ella quickly adapted to a world they had never encountered before BUT they seemed to do it far to seamlessly and easily. And whilst the sex-club element of the story allowed for some incredibly steamy sex scenes, it felt like that was it's only purpose. For me it didn't actually develop the plot in any way. I liked that we had a 'quiet' period of time where James and Ella were free to explore their connection, but unnecessary sex scenes distracted from this.
We then get a situation that leads to a total change in the lives of many of the books characters. Personally I would have preferred LESS of a focus on James and Ella's time at Club Lycan and more detail on the following year. Having followed the pair of them at this time, as they prepared for the trials ahead of them, would have transformed this from a very good to a truly great book. But again, that's 'me' and my preference, it's why for me this was 4 stars rather than 5. It's still a good book, and better than many others out there.
The author has some amazing ideas and the twists and turns we got in the last quarter of the book left my head spinning. My word the pace was break-neck speed at some points, though clever writing allows you to easily keep up. Then you get to the end, which is a cliff-hanger, not a total tear your hair out cliffie, but definitely a 'when's the next book up?' one.
So if you enjoy steamy, NA, paranormal, action-packed romance then this is perfect for you.

This story jumps off right after the exciting ending to Finn (it is not really a standalone) and doesn’t let up. This is the story of Ella and James, friends since they were children; they are each other’s loves, hopes and dreams. Escaping together is just the start of their new adventure and surviving becomes a dangerous game.
Learning to live in a new and different world, these two can only rely on each other. Packed with action, passion, lust and adventure; this story is worth reading. I loved the face paced story line and the fun characters. I look forward to reading more in this series and cannot wait to meet new characters. I really enjoy this world. As each of these books cover a different couple, there is a larger story line that flows through each book and they do need to be read in order for the best possible experience. James and Ella were raised in the lab and experimented on by Dr. Rinwald and his staff. While both are strong, fast and intelligent, James is especially clever and Ella excels in fighting. James is able to execute their escape, and they are fortunate to come under the protection of Clarence at Club Lycan. No matter how clever, these two have minimal life experiences and need to learn how to fit in.
Also, the daily meds they were on apparently dampened their hormones and suddenly they are noticing each other on a whole new level.
An entertaining and exciting read of relationships, survival and politics. A return to the lab causes events which literally change everything – details to be provided in the next story!! Gripping read, exceptional execution!

This is one emotional and fantastic book. This is the first I have read of this series but I have Finn, book 1, already in my library to catch up. James and Ella have escaped captivity, been shot, rescued and are staying with the owners of a sex club. During their captivity they were experimented on and have unique abilities but on practical experiences. There are parts of this book that had me cringing and then I would be rolling with laughter. Imagine, two 21 year olds discovering puberty. However, all is not a game. The horrific powers that held them their whole life is still out there. If you want something different with laughs, spice, betrayal and discovery, you cannot miss with this one. This book is told from 2 points of view both Ella and James, so you get to see the story from both of them. I strongly recommend that everyone readers the first book in the series, Finn, prior to reading this as this book seems to delve straight in and pick up from where that one stops. The story-line follows the main characters as they learn to live in a world that they really have never experienced. There is plenty of action going on, both the steamy kind and the adventure type! The author has a wonderful writing technique of pulling the reader right in to the story, so you don’t want to put the book down and you don’t really want the story to end either. This is a fairly short book so a pretty quick read but it’s definitely worth the time to read it, I’m looking forward to more from this author.

A wonderfully exciting and sexy second book in the Lycan Mating Games Series by S Cinders. If you have not read Fynn, I highly recommend it!! James and Ella are not your typically Lycans, they are faster, stronger and hidden. They grew up together and their emotions were suppressed with drugs. Once they escaped into a world they knew nothing about, they also began to feel and experience things they never have before, including their sex drive. Once unleashed, there was no stopping James and Ella from claiming each other as their own. This only added to the intensity of their sexual attraction to each other!! I definitely am loving the storyline that this series if taking us on, there are so many twist and turns that it will keep you guessing and just when you think you have the answers your are completely left with more questions that only book three can answer. Bring it on!!!!

James and Ella are together and mates. But their lives don't run smoothly. There are twists and turns that abound. There is a HFN (happy for now) ending. I look forward to book 3 to see what happens.

This is book 2 James (Lycan Mating Games), and the story of James and Ella. After escaping where they were raised, James and Ella face many trials and tribulations, schemes, murder, and their own passionate desire. The author is great at weaving her story and the writing and the flow of this book is done wonderfully. The characters had remarkable chemistry, a wonderful romance and I found myself so caught up in their story it was hard to put down.This is a must read and I highly recommend!

Great story!
Interesting where this picked up from the first book. Steamy, romantic and immersing paranormal story. James and Ella escape from a secret facility where they were lab rats of the Lycan race. They have never been in the real world. They are knowledge smart but not street smart. They made it out but now the hard part begins, navigating the world, staying free from their captors, freeing the world from the horrible people that had them locked up and falling in love. I can't wait for the next story. I'm on pins and needles to know what happens.

James and Ella are dynamite. Ella is the baby that was stolen from Michelles's sister and James is Emily and Daniels baby that was stolen and their memories erased. There is a lot of action, adventure, and steamy scenes. Can't wait for the next story. There are lion shifters, faes, along with the Lycans in the battle against Rinwald.

There are too many steamy scenes here, a fan might be needed. I thought the end of the story was near and there would be an all out fight but I felt like I was in the twilight zone. I am sure that James was feeling the same. There are still loose ends to tie and I need to find out what happened, guess that would be in the next book.

If you read 'Finn," book one of Lycan Mating Games then you know how good the series started. If you haven't, you'll have missed the details but, you'll be able to hold your own reading this one. And read this one you will because this is a heart pounding, sexually charged, good vs. evil paranormal romance. This one will keep you on the edge of your seat and flipping pages so quickly you'll be taken by surprise when it ends. Congratulations S. Cinders on another 5 star review.

I am really enjoying the Lycan world in this series. Two kids raised in a facility and have escaped and are now trying to deal in the real world. Faeries, other kinds of shifters and some old characters from the first book are all part of the excitement. The ending is a heck of a cliff hanger. The evil of the GMU is even worse now. What an incredible book. The author has done a great job. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

If you like tons of action and some insane and hot as hell relations, then you will love this. A paranormal action filled romance. James and Ella are the main characters. They may be in their early twenties but they really grew in this story. And I loved reading how they relearn about the world around them. And the scenes. Well OMG doesn’t cover it. I will note that a large portion of the story is located at a sex club so expect anything and everything.

This is another truly great read by this author. James and Ella were raised in a genetic mutation laboratory for Lycans. They were able to escape and that’s when everything goes well and also goes so wrong. Really good story with vivid characters portrayed very well. Excellent read!

James by S. Cinders is an amazing story that I have read. This is book number two in this amazing series that I loved reading I just can not get enough from this amazing author. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading paranormal romances and shifters.

This is a great addition to the Lycan series. It does have a cliffhanger, and I can’t wait until the next book. You’ll be following the adventures of James and Ella in bdsm. So if you like SCI-FY, and bdsm, this is a great series. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
