That is when thoughts of a writing career really took off. Although she competed in NaNoWriMo multiple times, 2019 was the first year that she won. This win inspired her to make writing a career. I enjoyed the book - especially the main characters Rae and Flint. The author's timing is amazing especially since it just "happens" to be "election" time for real in the good old USA. Now is when I get tired of all the campaign commercials on TV but reading them in this book are a different matter - here they are enjoyable!!! I was not expecting the character that was causing all the problems but it all came together in the end. This book definitely held my attention and I like this author. This is the second book in her Capitol series that I have read and I'm so glad that I did. I have many authors I enjoy and she has been added to my list. I highly recommend this book - it will be well worth your time.

I had high expectations for book 2 of In the Capital series and this surpassed them all.
I loved having Rae, Jules and Eve back together again. Their friendship is literally #squadgoals. I was waiting in anticipation since the last book, on what would happen between Rae and Flint. Their love and desire to be together is so deep. Rae supports Flint in his endeavors and he endlessly crosses oceans for her.
As always, the twist of mystery throughout the romance takes this to a new level. A steady page turner, you will love this book. The ending is the cherry on top of the sundae and I can’t wait to see what happens next!

This is the second book in the In the Capital series. I have definitely added Ms. Woods to my favorite author list. She does an amazing job bringing the story and characters to life. This book is the continuation of Rae and Flint's story. They are a great pair and make an excellent team as they face many challenges together. The element of mystery really added a whole new level of entertainment. The characters were well-developed and endearing and you can't help but fall in love with them. This book definitely held my interest throughout and had me turning the pages anxious to find out what would happen next. This is a really wonderful series and I'm looking forward to reading the next one!

I received this ARC for an honest review. B. Ivy Woods won’t be a new to me author anymore. I am definitely reading her other books. This is the second book of the Capital series. The first book is called Conspiracy In The Capitol. This story is the continuation of Rae and Flint’s story. I don’t want to tell you too much because I don’t want to ruin the story. They face many challenges and I like how they work together to fix them. I’m definitely reading the next book. I can’t wait for Eve’s book!

After Rae and Flint’s first touch with drama, the find themselves, once again, facing someone who is trying to sabotage them. I found this book to be much easier to read than the first in the series. The characters were better developed and seemed to have more depth to them. The story also flowed better, but all in all, this book was definitely enjoyable.

Rae and Flint are back and someone is up to their old tricks!
Ivy Woods keeps getting better and better. In Revenge in the Capitol, Flint and Rae's relationship develops further, coupled with his Congressional race. However, someone is desperately trying to sabotage not only his campaign but their relationship. A fitting second book in the In the Capitol series, I enjoyed this novel as much as I did the first one, and I can't wait to see what the third book brings!

Enjoyed the continuation of the story of Flint and Rae and the supporting cast. There continues to be someone who is trying to tarnish Rae’s reputation in order to have a negative impact on Flint’s run for Congress. The love Flint and Rae have for one another, along with the support from their friends and family, they are able to get through this tough time and come out better in the end. This is a great mix of love, laughter and suspense.

An Engaging Read!
Revenge in the Capitol was a well written novel. The dynamic characters were engaging and interesting. Moreover, the author kept with an upbeat yet suspenseful tone in this book as she did with the series. The easy-to-read page-turning narrative was entertaining. I enjoyed reading it.

This is the first book I have read by B Ivy Woods, and it was definitely worth a read. It has a good combination of drama, romance, and a happy ever after, and also allows us a theoretical insight into the drama involved with campaigning.

Good book, can’t wait to read the next book of this series. Great storyline Rae and Flint was meant to be together. Love the ups and downs but their commitment was nice to see. Just a really great series to read really enjoyed it....

Great read
Part two was just as good as the first book. The characters matured and can't wait to see the continuation of the characters lives.

Fast paced
A quick read about the DC intrigue/relationship of Rae and Flint. A very good romantic caper. And cool that it is DC based without stereotypes.
