Boleslav William Felix Robert Sienkiewicz is an American artist known for his work in comic books—particularly for Marvel Comics' New Mutants, Moon Knight, and Elektra: Assassin. He is the co-creator of the character David Haller / Legion, the basis for the FX television series Legion.
Sienkiewicz's work in the 1980s was considered revolutionary in mainstream US comics due to his highly stylized art that verged on abstraction and made use of oil painting, photorealism, collage, mimeograph, and other forms generally uncommon in comic books.

I read the first something like two years ago and put it down with disgust. It's GROSS. I'm well tempered but this is abomination type material.

That said- I could handle it if it wasn't so unbearably confusing. The first was impossible for me to understand but at least this one had a semblance of clarity as to what the hell (which has a strange supporting role) was going on.

The art is wonderful- especially the twisted women. Even the depiction of the old lady is fascinating. I loved the look of egg-heads with their removeable noses and the lawyer with his Karl Malden too. The main character hearkens back to the anti-hero of "Elektra".

Really edgy for the 80s, an inbred woman kills a bunch of little boys after feeding them toast, but the plot is too hard to follow for me to recommend it to a teenager
