I grew up with only one dream—to become a professional hockey player. My dream came true and now I was a forward for the Boston Bay Vikings. I never gave much thought to having that ‘special’ someone in my life until I saw the young woman who hunkered down like a scared rabbit in the team’s shower room. I went from a carefree bachelor to a fierce protector.
Molly
Exhausted and scared, I fell asleep in an empty room and came awake to find the gaze of three naked men on me. It turned out I’d found my way into the shower room of the Boston Bay Vikings—I’d never heard of them. However, it was the fourth man to appear who gave me hope. He spoke with confidence and made me feel safe. I didn’t want to leave his side, but I’d learned the hard way that anything good never lasted.

Thank you to each and every one of you for your continued support.
This book just didn’t work for me. I couldn’t get into the story which was very insta love. Hockey player falls for an Amish girl who has suffered abuse. The style of writing didn’t flow very well. It could use an edit too. Lots of people loved it though so please don’t let my opinion put you off.
DNF 62% and I just couldn’t do it anymore, so bad written, unrealistic story, a week and they’re already in love and moving together?? He found her all bruised and scared in a fucking bathroom and just like that he’s in love?? With an abuse victim??? Yeah and she’s an ex amish but a goddess in bed lol So messed up, also Ethan and Riley??? WTF 12 year age gap it’s seen as normal but not when he’s been “watching her” since she was younger!! But yeah she just turned 18 so that makes it ok (no it doesn’t) I would read Bennett’s story but I’m scare of it being this bad 😩

Great premise for the book but for some reason it really frustrated me with Molly Lewis speaking Dutch being Amish, they speak Pennsylvania Dutch (AKA a version of German).
This book was very meh. If you are looking for a story with actual hockey in it, this isn't the one. At most, they mention Camden being a hockey player, getting ready to play, but not a lot of game scenes to even call this a hockey story. At the arena Camden finds Molly, an Amish runaway who can't remember how she got in the showers. She bruised and beaten and he basically cares for her until she is better. Their romantic relationship happens quite suddenly and for someone who was raised Amish and imprisoned all her life, she seems to know a lot about seduction and sex. They spend a good part of the book trying to get her to remember how she got from NYC to Boston. Not a lot of plot to it though and a little dull, tbh. Along the way she makes friends with a random woman in a bar (very odd scene) and the hockey owner's daughter, who also end up trying to hook up with Camden's hockey friends. Again, not a lot of drama and you are left wondering what their point of existing is. Probably just to set up the next book. There isn't really a lot of intrigue and the sex scenes were boring (only a paragraph long). By the end when you find out who is after her, you completely forget who the criminals were in the first place - very menial. Camden saves Molly again. The end.

Oh. My. Days!!! I love everything this author writes and she is back with a brand new series!! Camden is fresh off the ice from a fraught game when he and his team mates find a woman in their changing room. Not just in the changing room but in the shower. She is confused, frightened, disoriented and in pain. Camden finds himself inexplicably drawn to her and immediately protective of her. As they spend time together, trying to figure out how she ended up in that shower, they grow closer together. Their connection can not be denied. My heart!! This book grabbed me from the brginning, the suspense keeping me on the edge of my seat. The chemistry, warming my heart! Cannot wait to read more of the Boston Bay Vikings!!
I love a good hockey romance and am always looking for a new one to read. However, this one I just found 'ok'. The story line was definitely unique from any I'd read before, which I find is getting harder and harder to find, but overall not as strong as I'd like. 2.5 stars from me.
Forced myself to read a third of the book and just couldn’t finish. Beaten woman, found randomly, and dating the guy who found her within days, most stories are unrealistic but this was too much.
Camden: On the Ice kicks off, Lexi Buchanan’s new hockey series with a story that wasn’t quite what I was expecting. But was for the most part satisfying to read, yet had it been longer and a little more connected and slower paced I feel I would have enjoyed it more.
However, I genuinely loved the characters and certainly the way Camden and Molly met was intriguing. Not to mention there was plenty of heat, and I was engaged throughout.
And with little hints at possible future stories, I will definitely be looking out for more from the Boston Bay Vikings in the future.
The writing was poorly executed. There needed to be paragraphs or chapter changes. It's like it wasn't edited.
However. If you don't mind insta love and caring hot hockey player who really is great, then this is your book.
It's the appropriate length and has suspense and intrigue. Those could of been expanded instead of the sex scenes. Those were a bit over done with "buckets of semen". Ewww
An ok read. I love and enjoy reading sport romance but this one started off very different but interesting. There isn’t much of sports happening but this is ok I just seem to be having difficulty connecting with the storyline. The characters are ok and I would love to read more and see what happens next.
Some parts were just a little unreal. Like why did they not take her to the hospital once they found her. But it was a nice start to this series. I am starting on Bennett’s story.
WOW! I love Camden and Molly, they're just perfect for each other! Such a sweet, steamy, wonderful and beautiful love story! I absolutly loved it soo much!😍🔥🔥❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🥰
A 27 year old single professional athlete decides within a couple of days, with no prior conversation or action leading to this conclusion, that he is no longer interested in puck bunnies, rather only one woman. I don't know if that was a question or statement; either way, I don't believe it.
My jury of one is not a fan this book. I find much of the conversation between Camden and Molly does not fit the situation nor convey any emotion. It is simply poorly written, thus I do not believe in anything intimate between them. There is no build, no background, no substance for the readers to latch onto. The story is weird (an Amish girl is left in the locker room of a professional sports arena and after recent abuse, very quickly trusts and becomes intimate with a man) and so hard to believe. Combine this with the awkward word choices, I am constantly asking myself why I am still reading. I have read a lot of hockey romance books, this being my first from this author, and by far has the worst plot and lacks character development.
And looking at the covers of other books from this author, I can't. I simply can't. I wince and want to look away from each. I cannot stand the designs/photos/artwork. It's the same feeling as when someone eats too much sugar and their teeth hurt.
At page 60, I am done and will not continue this series.
Really good first book in this series. Steamy and well written, characters that stand out. Can’t wait for the others to get their books too. Definitely one to follow
Just wasn’t impressed with the level of writing. I also couldn’t find the beginning very believable in how Camden was handling the situation by bringing Molly to his home. Gonna skip this book.
