Gavin and his father Dan are determined to find Rachel’s killers and bring them to justice. Despite the major investigation by the police no clues have emerged. In desperation, they enlist the help of their friend Phil who is a psychic currently living in Transylvania. Phil is accustomed to communicating with the dead, but when he makes contact with Rachel in the ancient cemetery of St. Winefride’s Well, he is unprepared for the paranormal experiences that follow. Sometimes dark, occasionally humorous, this is a cosy murder novel with fine traces of romance.
A very unusual premise, and a genuinely enjoyable read, a proper page-turner, manages to balance tragedy with humor and is light-hearted given subject matter It is well characterized and had a great sense of place, in Holywell in North east Wales. I can’t say much more I don't want to give anything away. You'll just have to read it to find out.
