A monster wants to tell you a story; are you brave enough to listen?
Marcus Roga is the heir to the Earl of Szatmar, and as such he considers himself blessed with a mother and father he respects, and younger twin siblings he adores.
In the 17th Century, Marcus Roga is content with his life as an Earl-in-waiting until his parents arrange a match for him with the daughter of the Marquis D’ Embry; a pairing that is destined to become a match made in Hell.
This monstrous coupling--and the course of events it sets in motion--are foretold in a Gypsy's prophesy. Is this Gypsy seeing clearly; or can destiny be changed?
With The House of Roga Trilogy, S.H. Bown provides a fast-paced And thrilling Vampire saga that takes you into a world of Supernatural Adult Fantasy and Horror as the forces of good and evil clash through the millennia.
Intelligent story well written with surprises, sex and history thrown in. Great Read I didn't want it to end. Can't wait for the sequels. I read it in two nights.
I could not finish this book. I am exhausted by poorly labeled YA or NA in the Romance category. The mental musings of the protagonist at the beginning of chapters ere so melodramatic to the point of being absurd The story is being recounted to the reader, but in a choppy tone that makes me think the storyteller thinks the reader is a child at best an idiot at worst.
Please consider an extensive revision and clearly labeling it YA or NA.
this is the first book I read from this autor and let me tell you that I loved it! Such a good book with great characters that keeps you obsessed with every page since the first one. The ending of this book.. come on! I just didn´t expect it! Can´t wait for read book 2! Amazing job! definitely a must read!
This book is more about developing the characters and telling how they come together. This is not always so well done by others who try. I admit, there were times when i thought, "how much longer until we get to the actual story." But let me tell you, I kept coming back to get my answer and kept getting pulled back into the back story of this series. Now on to book 2. I hope it is as good or better. I'm excited.
