Anna Maria Taigi (1769 - 1837) was an Italian Roman Catholic member from the Secular Trinitarians. She married Domenico Taigi, a brash and impulsive man, but nevertheless devoted to his wife, Anna, who experienced a number of ecstasies, and was reported to have heard the voices of God and Jesus. Anna became a Secular Trinitarian after she experienced a religious conversion in 1790 while at Saint Peter's Basilica. There she came into contact with cardinals and luminaries who helped her on her spiritual journey. She was beatified by Pope Benedict XV in 1920.
