Huge F-Buddies

Rate this book
A mega menage reverse harem stepbrother romance

It's supposed to be a summer fling until my heart gets involved.

When my absent father drops into my life and invites me to stay, my planned summer of fun becomes a vacation of discovery. I go from being an orphan to having a family, including four huge stepbrothers.
Anderson, Jefferson, Carson, and Brayson are my dad's best players and rivals to my university football team. Tall and broad with bulging muscles and sexy tattoos, it's all I can do to keep my cool. Oh, who the hell am I kidding? I'm burning up the moment I arrive.
Give me temptation, and I'm all over it like a rash. After all, I'm only young once, and having four F-Buddies is better than just one, especially when they're under the same roof. Four times better, to be exact!
It's just a fling, I tell myself. Indulging my fantasies with four of the hottest men in the universe is an excellent way to spend my summer.
But when the reason for my father's sudden presence in my life becomes clear, I start to realize that my stepbrothers have become a whole lot more important to me than I've ever been able to handle.

This is a standalone mega menage/reverse harem romance. It involves MMFMM situations with a very happy ever after ending. Well, there are four sexy stepbrothers involved! It's part of the Huge Series; standalone romances with lots of HUGE goodness to link them all. Read in any order! No cliffhangers. No cheating.

“Im not shallow , I’m selectively deep.”

“Im not shallow , I’m selectively deep.”
Sara never said this ,but she should have. It would have been the most honestly thing she’d said or done.
You go into a book like this expecting more sex than plot, that’s what the cover sells you.
It’s ok to write a book like that if it’s what you want to write, just do it well if you are.
One reviewer said this felt rushed.. I’d agree to that . When a sentence like,”Wow. You really are the spit of your father.", gets through you know something ain’t right.
Not a very nice mental image. I can sometimes ignore mistakes even that obvious is the plot or the characters raise above mistakes like this . But sadly no.
Sara doesn’t know what she wants. At. All.
She’s like an emotional coward, who seems to have some common sense at times and seems to work to be self aware. At times ,I must add. Then the next minute she has no common sense at all and does things she know will hurt others ,even though she claims to care about them.
I wanted to like Sara but I didn’t. Just because you have a sad backstory doesn’t make you deep.
Sara supposedly raised herself ,while her mother stayed drunk and chased after one d bag after another but when her “father” pops up out of the blue a year or soo after her lottery win, she’s ok about it. No explanation as to how he found her. No angry scene . Nothing just her taking his word and buying a car to go stay the summer w/him and his family . WTH?!?!
⚠️ There will be Spoilers ⚠️
That’s how this girl seems to roll. Says something supposedly deep and or smart or intelligent one minute and does the dumbest poo the next. Known step bros maybe a day or two when we all go out to a bar, let me go and see how drunk I can get. What ? Huh ? You barely know anyone including your steps but by all means go get blitzed. Then she freaks out because she’s being to loose with them. What ?
Thus wasn’t sexy or romantic, this was emotionally stunted coward, who wants to use sex to keep men at a distance and call it liberated. Now that said she made some good points at times when she felt defensive about you love of sex. I agree, why should women be ashamed of wanting the same things men do.
No growth . She doesn’t even try apologize or explain ,she just runs off after sick dad is home from hospital, in the middle of the night ,leaving a note behind. That’s how chapter 30 out or 31 starts. WTH?
In 31 the guys turn saying I love you and she caves.
No deep and meaningful moments, Sara won’t allow it. We never get to know her or the guys because we are tapped in her POV. No deep only shallow and not fun.
All the guys run together but Jefferson. Jefferson who acts like a moody teenage girl on his period for 9/10’s of the book. He supposedly had it rough before her father but we are left to guess what happened.
Waste of time.

Another great standalone book in a great linked series

In this book we get to learn more about Sara, who we met in the last book Huge Players.
We get to see how sad and hard her childhood was and how she won the lottery before she headed off to Eastern.
One day as she leave her lectures after coming back from her mother's funeral she is approached by a man. Who turns out to be her dad, who she agrees to go stay with over the summer to get to know him.
This is where she meets the four HOT step brothers she wants in every way possible.
Will she get her way and keep it just as a casual arrangement or will she be able to overcome her feelings of not being able to except love from them.
Grab a copy and join in the HOT steamy ride

The plots are getting more involved and interesting with each book. The books have also gotten a bit longer and are actually full stories now. This series is really evolving into more than just steam, but never fear there is still tons of steam and spice to make you feel nice! This one will have you needing your tissues a bit as it does hit some emotional points, but it just balances out the steam!

Sara, you lucky lucky girl! Two sets of twins, TWO! You know I've been asking for the Twin/ Triplets/ Quadruplets sign up sheet. Where is it ladies? Lol.

Sara grew up with a mom who left her alone to take care of herself. Sara had it tough with nothing but herself to rely on. One day on her 18th birthday and a lucky scratch off ticket started the butterfly effect that forever changed her life.

Meeting her Dad, step mom and step brothers for the first time was scary because she's wasn't use to being in a family. The conversations, dinners, outings, it was all new and a bit weird for her.

Then there's Anderson and Carson.... and Jefferson and Brayson. The Step brothers aka twins and the attraction was extremely strong. The steam was oh so good.

But things doesn't come easy of course. Serious family situation, feelings, stubbornness, anger, hurt, confusion, communication issues. I was talking out loud to my kindle at this point... like come on guys, make it work. Please! Lol.

I enjoyed this read very much. I'm a huge rh fan. Stephanie does it so well imo.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC copy of this book.

FInding Her Four

I must say that Sara's story put me on one hell of a rollercoaster ride of emotions! First, it is still a stunningly erotic tale of Sara & her stepbrothers Jefferson, Anderson, Carson & Brayson & their exploration of a truly taboo relationship. However, I wasn't expecting this story to be any kind of tear jerker, but it sure was! I feel like this story went a little bit deeper into a mental health aspect that I really enjoyed. Jefferson in particular had me grabbing for the kleenex. Sara & her handsome harem have some amazing chemistry & they are Hot, Hot, Hot! Enjoy!

Bravery and Love

“Everything is more beautiful because we love,”

Sara, a strongly independent woman who’s fiercely guarding the broken pieces of her heart. Facing a crossroads in her life when her birth father finds her, she fights hard to keep everyone arms length. Even her four, hot as sin, step brothers. But what starts as just some sexy summer fun turns into so much more. Can she face her fears enough to let all the love in? This story has all the feels! So good!!

Loved.. normally when you read reverse harem of course you have expectations of hot sex but this story has all the feels and growth of each character that I truly appreciate. It's freaking unbelievably hot and Stephanie knows how to put you on the minds of each of these beautiful women in her stories. She makes you root for love in all and any form.

All the feelings in here

This story left me shattered because Stephanie Brother has written it with so many feelings in it. You have heat, passion, drama, pain, and tears but in the end there is so much love and happiness. I laughed and cried real tears throughout the entire book. It truly touched my heart!

I love this series.

Stephanie Brother is now one of my favorite authors! This is one of her best books of the series (of course I say this after reading each one) but this book made me laugh out loud and cry so hard! I'm looking forward to reading the next book but I'm not looking forward to this series ending.

I’m in awe of how well written this book is. Every word is designed to bring emotional tension and drama. I got hooked from the start and I couldn’t have asked for a better story line. I got emotional thinking about each character and how they felt. Love is precious

I loved how we got to know each character individually. The relationships seem much more authentic and natural when they reach the happily ever after ending.

F buddies turns into love for Sara...

As usual, Stephanie Brother hits it right in the spot for a good steaming poly read. Sara made way for herself after she wins a lottery her 18th birthday, put herself into college cross country away from a loveless relationship with her mother. Makes new best friend as she starts college. Then she runs into her real father, who recognised her the previous year at a rival football game, and invites her to his home for the summer to ghetto k ow each other, also where she meets his 4 stepsons that she lures into a f buddy fling with her for the summer. Throughout the summer, one by one, they've ensnared her heart but not without convincing on their part when she ran away to protect her heart. Definitely worthy 4 cups of steaming hot java. ☕☕☕☕.

I really enjoyed reading this book. Not only because the main character made something of herself but because she got the chance to know a person who she thought didn't want to be a part of her life. In the process of getting to know him, he came with a wife and stepson's who are all interested in her. And it took time for them all to work out their own deal. But in the end, she saved her father from dying and then left because she knew for herself that she wanted them, but couldn't because of her dad. What didn't realize is that they wanted her just as much and told her dad everything. He accepts it because he knows they are good boys and will take care of her. But also, her best friend is in a relationship with 4 guys and then the T.V. show she likes she is married to all 10 of her guys. So she has a very good support system, and they all want what is best for her.

Lots of twins

I like the stepbrother dynamic but it seems strange none of the brothers ever have friends or girlfriends... Just messed-up step sisters they never really knew well. I really like Stephanie Brother 's stories but I would love her to twitch it up and give us a set of twin best friends and a set of twin or triple stepbrothers. It could maybe even stretch to something more wild... Maybe they are club owners... You know the five of them. Just for fun... And the step sister Asks for a favour, needs a place to stay... Whatever. Oh well this book was pretty good the spend a bit of time at the lake... Maybe they should buy a Lake house together... I do wonder what happens to them all... The Epilogue isn't quite far enough in the future to indicate much.

Just OK

It's not a bad story, it's just that I felt like everything was wrapped up too neatly and easily. Everything Sara was battling inside herself just, POOF, was suddenly resolved and to me, that made her character arc feel forced. As far as the Bennett boys, I really only felt that Jefferson came anywhere close to being a three-dimensional character, the rest just fell flat. His arc was the only one that went through to completion, and again, it came wrapped in a nice little bow delivered on a silver platter. While the book was enjoyable enough to read, it just fell flat overall. Then when we add in the shoddy editing with sentences with words in them that didn't belong, sentences missing words, typos and misspelled words and it was just a lackluster experience.

Ugh the weird drinking age thing again. First Sara isn’t old enough to drink at her dad’s house then she goes to Red Devil (a club/bar) and drinks at least four alcoholic drinks.
I would recommend people not read these books one after the other. The author uses the same descriptions for male anatomy as well as goes on and on about boys teasing girls being abusive ( the author makes a good point on this, but I read all the other books and reread this rant to much in those so it gets old). What is up with no anal penetration in these books? I know it’s not everyone’s cuppa but 9 books about polyamory and no anal, what? I don’t care about Maggie’s story. Who is she?! Another reviewer mentions she’s Danna’s cousin. Snooze I don’t care.

I’m always very pleasantly surprised by these books. When I picked up the first in the series I was just curious and thought it’d be mostly smutty and I’d flip through it and think “eh”. But I’ve actually been drawn into these. I think Stephanie has a good way of being able to write in relationships and connections outside of and within the sexual parts to make these feel more deep and intriguing to read. They are shorter books, though not crazy short, and even then she manages to pull off some really nice and sometimes emotionally touching stories.

The premises are often far-fetched, so you do have to kind of ignore that but if you’re willing to buy into the situation then it’s pretty good.

I’ve really been enjoying the series!

This book is so much more than sex. It is about fear, love, heartache, pain and more. Sara lived with her mom who didn’t care for her, I mean literally didn’t. One day her estranged dad shows up at her school and wants her to spend the summer with him and his family. He’s married and has two sets of twin stepsons that he’s cared for as his own. Sara finds so much more than a dad she never knew. She finds 4 handsome stepbrothers that become more than that. She as well as her stepbrothers learn about pain, facing their fears, forgiveness and love. Great story !

Emotional here and there, but another great story, and different yet again from all her other books. The part of them in the church with the other Poly (Laura’s) was funny😉
😂💋💋💋😂 She’s honest: “If I’d met this guy in a bar, we'd be exchanging bodily fluids right now. I'd be sitting on his knee, copping a feel of his bulging pecs and rippling abs, wriggling enough to get him hard against my ass. He'd have his tongue in my mouth, with a promise of finding more sensitive places later when we're alone“ ⭐️💙💋💙⭐️

Needs a little cleanup

I enjoyed this book. It lived up to all my expectations for a Stephanie Brothers title. It could have benefited from a little editing. One big complaint; Jefferson, Brayson, Anderson, and Carson? Really? Other books set off twins by initial. This is two sets of twins. Just my preference. Like in Masie's book, where the triplets all start w J and the twins start w K.

I wanted a quick firey book to read, something that didn't mess with my heart.

However, this book managed to fill both requirements!

The sex is hot, the relationships fast and rollercoaster elements, yet the wider cast, the wider context is heartbreaking.

Once again Stephanie Brother gives you more than you expect - well developed characters you cannot help but route for, alongside blistering details.

The way it started was a bit cringe. I thought there would be more expansion in the plot, maybe some college life or just having fun in the real world compared to the straight forward right into the smut. The brothers dad was mentioned to be abusive having effects on Jefferson and his mental health. This is mentioned but never really developed. And that is it. Why mention it at all if there is no expansion about this.
