This is an excellent story of hardship, heart ache and overcoming. This is Seth and Purity Featherstone's story. Seth is one of the sons of Honor Featherstone, who is the town's only medical doctor. Seth and Purity have hit upon a hard place in their marriage and their love has waned. Then Seth is shot, and his mother must work to save him. Purity stands by Seth with tough love as does his brothers. Be sure to read this book to find out if Seth and Purity are able to rekindle their love and if Seth is able to walk again. I really enjoyed this story and highly recommend it. I know you will also find it a real page turner.

Seth picks up where Adam left off. Seth and Purity have been married for 5 years and the excitement has gone out of their marriage, now more friends than lovers. Seth’s inner strength is tested when he is injured during a bank robbery. Purity also has to face the possible loss of her husband. This is a wonderful story of faith, love, and desire to not let down the family. Lynn Donovan managed to make me cry with this one. I look forward to Jonah’s story.

The happy ending isn’t the wedding
I loved that this story skips their courtship and wedding. This is the story about love through the hard times. It’s about choosing love when that’s the hard choice.
This is a great book. I highly recommend this to all lovers of historical fiction.

When Seth and Purity married 5 years ago their love was true and solid. Now it has seemed to settle into routine. The spark isn't there. The love is still strong but why have they grown apart?
Seth is severely injured just as Purity discovers she will finally bear their child. One they have waited for so very long to have. They worked to make a life and build it when times were hard. Now they are faced with their toughest battle. Will they find love again? Can Seth heal no matter the outcome? I recommend this book. This Author writes from the heart and her stories capture the essence of life, not just through the happy times, but during hardship and loss as well.

Seth & Purity were childhood sweethearts, as we saw in the Lantern in the Window series. This book takes place about 15 years after that series. Seth has since married Purity and they lead a comfortable life. But the spark seems to have dimmed.
Can they rekindle their love? When something happens, will they draw together as a team?
This is a clean, sweet romance. It was interesting. I liked their story. It's my favourite of the series so far.

Loved it!!
Seth and Purity are going to be parents! Their relationship is good again and Seth is on the mend. This is a short story. It that just means I get to start on Jonah's story! Love these sons of Honor!!
