Andre Joseph learned at a young age what it meant to cleave to another soul. Since the age of 15, he has sacrificed his happiness and placed his dreams on hold to make sure the one he cleaved to the most lived out their dream. Being a producer under his best friend’s label came with a lot of perks… except true love. His desires for love went beyond the lyrics he wrote. He craved it like the air he breathed. Landon Carter had it all. The money, cars, clothes and a plethora of women. Being COO of a major record label, Landon has seen first-hand the lengths women will go through just to attach their name to his. Tired of the lies and deceit, he takes his heart off the market and hardens it instead. Set out on being struck by Cupid’s arrow, Andre opened himself up for love unlike his best friend Landon. Only thing, well person, stopping him – a Kenyan beauty whose own insecurities cause Andre to rethink if the fight for true love is worth it. Being the scrooge of love, Landon thought the black ice surrounding his heart would never melt. That is… until he meets an unlikely spirit that causes him to rethink the true of meaning love.

Such a touching story. Landon & Drea were a beautiful couple that you couldn't help but like. Wonderful storyline with enjoyable characters & good subject matter. Very good debut novel.
Wow! For this to be Chelsea's first book she definitely hit it out of the park. The relationship between Landon and Drea was absolutely breathtaking. The way he loved and accepted her was beautiful to witness. Drea was such a sweetheart and I was sad to see "The End" by the time it was all over. Great debut novel. I'll certainly be checking for more of this author's work.
I loved this story. It was so emotional and relatable. I like how Dre cared for Drea and always looked out for her. It was nice seeing the growth in Landon, and seeing how he cared for Drea. You can feel the love between these two coming off the pages. Also, I liked how you shed a light on Autism. Such a great debut and I can’t wait to read more from you. You definitely have a fan in me.

Set out on being struck by Cupid's arrow, Andre opened himself up for love unlike his best friend Landon. Only thing, well person, stopping him is a Kenyan beauty by the name of Dafina whose own insecurities cause Andre to rethink if the fight for true love is worth it. Being the scrooge of love, Landon thought the black ice surrounding his heart would never melt. That is… until he meets an unlikely spirit housed in the woman he least expects that causes him to rethink the true of meaning love.
Omg, I'm speechless. The storyline, the emotions, the imagery, sensations were felt with this one. Landon was doomed from the start, once he felt Andrea. He didn't physically feel her, he felt her emotionally, spiritually. He didn't lay eyes on her to feel that connection. How powerful that must be. Andrea was soooo dope!! I loved her. She was the smartest, most grounded person in the book. Despite her challenges, she taught everyone lessons, life lessons. Forgiveness is probably one of the most hardest things you can do, especially when someone has done you wrong. Andre struggles with that. His protection, love and support for his sister is remarkable. He's so protective its almost overbearing, but I get it. Landon's spiritual journey brought him something he thinks he wouldn't experience. He stopped looking and let God lead. Good things come to those who wait. Now Andre and Dafina are a different story! I need him to find his true happiness as well. Andrea was such a lucky woman to be surrounded by these great men. I'm wiping my eyes because this book left an impact, taught lessons. Awesome awesome awesome
Man Andrea and Landon relationship I absolutely loved it. He took her impairment and loved her unconditionally without regards. This book touched my soul and a made me a believer that there is someone for everyone. They confidence that Andrea had was so refreshing and real and raw. She was determined to live her life according to the word of Jesus. Landon found his one and never looked back. His whole demeanor and everything changed. He was kind patient loving and everything u would want mate to be. Andre and Davina I would like to read more about their relationship. Andre was such a protector loving big brother. He made sure Andrea was safe and comfortable at all times. Such a great story. My first read by the author but won't be the last.
This was such a sweet love story♥️! The connection between the siblings were just so strong! I love how Landon loved her before he even really knew much about her. He accepted her flaws and all. Oh my stars lol (in my Andrea’s voice) I just loved how innocent she was even at her age. I work with children so I can relate to her condition and innocence. I fell in love with the characters, but especially Drea and Landon! It left me wanting more but also being okay with the book ending the way it did. They were private so I’m not surprised that it ended during their sex scene. It would have been nice to see how she reacted to everything but again I’m okay with it ending the way it did! Awesome love story♥️

This storyline was very different and flowed well. Dre and Landon seem to can’t find love until two women change both of them. I’m more in tuned with Landon and Drea love than Dre love life. Drea character was a very beautiful spirit and calming person to read about. I feel as if her character definitely piqued my interest more than anything. Beautifully written story and little to no errors. Definitely recommend this book.
Just WOOOOWWW!!! This book has grabbed my soul!! I found so much love inside the pages!! I’m at a complete lost for words, I mean I really can not describe this book with no other words but SOUL SNATCHING ❤️❤️ Ches marvelous job 👏🏾👏🏾 I can’t not wait to read more from you
3.5 Stars - OK, so after thinking about it, the book was OK! It was definitely unique and my first time reading a "romance" book with an autistic hero (or lead character in general). Drea is the autistic, but very gifted sister of Dre who is the hottest producer in the music industry. I loved Drea and Dre's relationship, but everything about Drea was super repetitive and the author lost me a few times in the dialogue.
Landon was Mr. Music Mogul and originally wanted to be a settled down man with his own family, but after being burned several times by women, his whole approach changed and he decided to no longer trust women.... until Drea.
We also got to see inside of Dre and Dafina's situationship turned relationship! I would like to hear more from this couple.
I applaud the author for not only tackling Aspergers, but also the spirituality aspect of the book. In my opinion, the story also had issues of flowing into a smooth story line, it felt very stop and go all throughout the book that if you put the book down, and picked it up at a later time, you could feel a little lost about where you are and what's happening.
In a nutshell, if you are looking for hot sex scenes and lots of love making, it's non existent in this book, and it's probably not for you but it's still worth a read. There is something here worth exploring and the book is extremely well edited, which is a plus in my book.

What can I say other than Chelsea Maria blew me away with her debut novel. The way Landon loved Drea was so beautiful and so unique I couldn’t help but fall in love with him too. Drea was so sweet and her discerning spirit reminded me of someone I know very well. Chelsea, you definitely told the story of a true, very unique black love and I cannot wait to see what you have in store next.
This book was my first time reading this author's book, and I enjoyed it. It was a love story beautifully written and very relatable. I love the firece love and protectiveness of Andrea by her father, her brother, and eventually her husband. I love that she didn't shy away from her autism but embraced it and lived her life fully and completely. I was glad that Landon accepted her as it and worked to gain her trust and love and touch.
Dre and Dafina were too afraid to truly give themselves over to each other. Dafina needed to get out of her own way, and Dre needed to let go of the pain, hurt, and all other feelings he held against his mom, who abandoned them because Drea wasn't so-called normal. Once he released years of pent up emotions, he could finally cross that threshold with Dafina.
I enjoyed the dinner scene with London's family, especially the way it ended. The author allowed the characters to finally live in their truths and dreams in the end. This book displayed good characters with a good premise. I look forward to reading more books by this author.
To witness love in the purest form of an autistic woman is AMAZING & HEARTWARMING. I respect Andre and Andrea's father (being a single father) for instilling love, faith in God, and protection into the lives of his children. Because of that, they both knew how to love. I absolutely adored how Landon genuinely loved Andrea and was patience with her. The thing that mostly intrigued about Andrea was her ability to discern spirits. She had a keen sense of discernment and was indeed a master at it. She was very intune with her spiritual size and I loved that. The thing that stood out the most was Andre and his UNFORGIVENESS. It made me realize that there are some things I really hadn't let of, I just buried. I see the error of my ways. I thank you Chelsea for using your gift to bring this to the surface. This was an amazing story and I enjoyed every detail of reading it! Looking forward to more of your work!
I did not like Nyla, she was a super child in an over grown body, all the whining and needing to be placated irked me. She was very immature and illogical by her own doing, oh and spoiled. What grown woman doesn't clean up after herself?? I was waiting for it to be said that she experienced something traumatic as to why she was the way she was, but no, her father was a crackhead that left them when she was 8. Chea was to mature and good for her to me. Moe, Chea and Nylas mother did her a disservice by the constant coddling, spoiling and not holding her accountable. Chea deserved better than what she gave which is constant headaches with her immaturity and selfish ways, the constant whining and temper tantrums like a child made her annoying and unattractive. Please start writing more about strong women that act their age, please, these immature damsel in distress chicks irk me.
Love has no respect of person. When you feel your soul align with its true mate, there is nothing to do but surrender. Outside forces will continue to cause strife (but there is a master above all master's that has the last say so) but will not be able to penetrate the power surrounding. Love to read books that touches my discerning .......
Landon has found his destiny but his best friend is blocking. Andrea knows who her being belongs to but her brother is blocking. Will Landon and Andrea find a way to remove said obstacle or relinquish the blessing?
Nourishment from parents really shape the pattern of a child's life. Please be aware that you may be throwing away a blessing when you feel you are inadequate.
Landon and London...Dre and Drea...I was like wtw. I had to keep my wits about myself as I found myself trying to decipher and discern the names and their plots. I must say that I was intrigued with the author's plight of speaking the word throughout the read and building a platform for the Holy Spirit. There were a lot of subliminal messages but for me the read wasn't as smooth as I would have thought. I commend the author for the courage to address the issue of Autism, which has become a widespread condition, that most would overlook. Despite the choppy flow of the read and because of her bravado, I will give her a 4*** because she dared to be different...and it's a complete storyline.
Oh my…. Chia Pet! I knew I should have wished for one
This was a work of fine art, good champagne and the finest delicacy known, all wrapped up in one breath: “O.M.G”… how good was that. Chea was the bomb, the man, the diggy bombastic man, and he THAT MAN….while Nyla was the worst main character that there could have been. She truly didn’t deserve a man like that because that man was and is everything. This story was so touching and was so real about how letting god in to do the work for you but you needed to forgive first and leave that spot empty for him to work the way he does best. Thank you MS. Maria for such a great story that deserved more that the 5 stars allocated for it!!!!! As always can’t wIt to read more from you….
This book was so touching and emotional. I loved that Drea had autism. It made you understand more about the disorder. The way Landon changed to be the man she needed him to be was so beautiful. I loved this book so much. This will be one of my favorites for a long time. It opens you up to the world of autism, and teaches you that they are all different. Drea was so smart, but because she was autistic, her brother kept her sheltered from the world, until Landon made her his. I loved, loved, loved this story!
I really enjoyed this story. We are introduced to best friends Landon and Dre and their journey following love. Drea is a character unlike any other. Her discerning spirit and sweetness resonate throughout the story. Dre's love and protection of his sister lead to problems with his love interest Dafina, yet set the tone for Landon's new role that he doesn't even know is coming. This is a love story unlike any other. Please 1-click and enjoy this journey the couples will travel.
Ms. Chelsea Maria, you did your thang with this!!! I loved the way Landon loved Drea. It was with conviction and devotion the minute he connected with her. She not only loved him the way he needs to be loved but she accepted his love. I liked the fact that this was based on the males perspective with just as much passion. The faith in this was also astonishing. It wasn't overwhelming, it made you understand what was being said. I really loved this and I can't wait to read more relatable stories!!!
This story is so amazing! Not only does it spotlight ordained love but it also shows that those on the spectrum can have a love life just like those who are not on it. The way Landon loved Drea made me emotional to read. I love how he was willing to heal from his hurt, learn from it and use that knowledge to love his soulmate. Dre and Dafina gave me a headache with their running around what was meant for them. I hope there is a follow up or spinoff on them and how their relationship ends.
This book started slow for me but I definitely cane to appreciate it. This book was like making a nice large pot of vegetable soup. Takes a lot of preparation. Given everything this author put into the story, the slow pace made sense around 35%. I appreciated the elements of Love, Family and Religion. This was the perfect blend of Love and Christian fiction. This was not "just a read" for me. I was educated on the different aspects of Autism. You can tell that the author poured hours into research for this story. I loved the character development and the cover too. Great job.
Where do I begin.. I absolutely love the fact that Chelsea showed us a fully functional side if an autistic person. Andrea's honesty, pureness & her emotional and spiritual aspects of life and love were remarkable. Andre's protectiveness of his sister was nothing short of amazing. Especially when you find out the reason why. Her & Landon were perfect for each other. Hopefully we will get another story with these four characters because I would love to see where Andre & Dafina's relationship goes.
This book touched my soul in so many ways. I have an autistic child and just to see how being faithful to God will knock down barriers and still keep you in his still it's just affirmation for me. This book was written with grace and out flowed beautifully. I will definitely be reading more from you. Andrea was such a sweet spirit and her brother was truly her protector until Landon took her as his. I lived this book and it would her much more than 5 stars of I could give it.
This book is a little bit different from Chelsea she writes about a love pure and innocence mixed with the desire to want more. All 4 main characters wanted love and need it to figure out how to love in their own way. Chelsea wrote about being different and learning how to accept that it's okay. The other 3 main characters needed to learn how to accept that she is different and that she's able to soar in order to do anything that she wants. This book is about having faith and believing in your faith to lead you to love.
Oh mylanta! If this wasn’t the cutest love story! I loved everything about Andrea; her confidence, whimsical attitude, and her inquisitiveness. I thought Landon was just what Andrea needed. At first I thought he was going to mess up but I was completely wrong. He loved Drea and it was so evident. I thought Dre was a good brother but whew he was wearing me out. 😩I thought this storyline was great and the flow of the book was just right. The author did a great job showing all sides of an individual living with autism. I truly couldn’t get enough of these two. ❤️
This was the most beautiful love story I have ever read , I loved how loving and accepting landon was of Andrea being autistic. I also love how the story shows that people with autism can achieve anything they want , and go after their dreams regardless if they have autism. The way dre took care of drea was amazing , he always made sure his sister was taken care of and protected her. I loved that!!! Even though this was a short book it really captured everything you could ever want in a love story. I could not put this down!!! I have found a new favorite book/author.
