B4UD8 -- Before You Date: 7 Things You Need to Know before Your Next Date

Rate this book
Based on five years of feedback since the release of Dateable , Hungry Planet now delivers more of what their audience is asking for in B4UD8 . By bridging the gap between diving head first into the dating pool or kissing dating goodbye, Hayley and Michael tackle the seven most important things every teen should know before their next date.

Designed to be easily adopted for use in churches but still created in the same relevant style of all Hungry Planet books, B4UD8 will appeal not only to teens everywhere, but to their parents and youth leaders as well. In it they will

• the purpose of dating
• how to protect the temple
• why dating is not marriage
• and much more

Whether their first date or their fiftieth, B4UD8 will help teens make biblical and smart decisions about love and dating.

I started reading this book because my mom is making me.. :( but I have actually learned a lot from it. It has taught me how to date and still keep my friends, showed me different dating styles of some people, and gave me reasons as to why I should date. It gives you many examples of different situations and explains how to work through the problems. I would recommend this book for teenagers who are just beginning to date. It would help them to learn that when you are dating you are not married to your boyfriend/girlfriend, you should always be dating the person for the right reasons, and that you should never forget who you are. The book may get boring at some parts but it eventually picks back up and gives you some more very good information.

This was a fun read. For the age group it's geared towards, I think it's a good read. There were a couple things I didn't like, but overall it was a quick read and one I needed for a challenge :)

This was a great teaching tool for the middle school small group I used to teach. They approach the subject of dating in an interesting way, and they still manage to keep the kids' attention. I would recommend it for middle school and high school students.

Great book for singles. Wish I had read it earlier but all in God's timing.. Probably we know most of it, but when u read it in a well-defined way, it sticks to our mind even more. And few of the things are better to keep practiced, rather than doing it straight on-stage.
