Sexy fun romance!

This was a fun, sexy, billionaire romance that hooked me from the start. Great characters, instalove that worked well for the story, and a plot that flowed with ease from beginning to end. Really enjoyed the connection between the alpha billionaire Tanner/Adrian and the successful businesswoman Olivier/Missy. Their chemistry was one of the best parts of the book for me and I loved the depth that grew as the story progressed. There's some great moments and inner monologue that made me laugh.

The setting for both Las Vegas and then on Hamilton Island in Australia added an extra element to the book that was intriguing and interesting. Loved the fact the author could write a pov that included both Australian words and nuances as well as American. Highly recommended!

"Holy crunch apples" Ha! Best phrase I've read in a while. The apple references were quite refreshing and fun
"Oh, applejacks, we got married last night."
"Oh, holy crunch applejacks."

I enjoyed this read. Yes it has a lot of stereotypes in it. Yes it has hot steamy scenes. I knew all that going in. The title pretty much states so. Insta Bride: Contemporary - second chance - billionaire - secret baby - romance. It ticked all of those boxes.

“Holy crunch apples” & “apple jacks” her childish vocabulary almost made me DNF. Also, remember back in the day on Wattpad, where there would be a book with a decent storyline but English was the authors 2nd or 3rd language and you could proper tell by how hard the book was to read. That’s this book, it’s giving 2010 Wattpad and was a struggle to finish

After what seems like a fateful encounter, Missy (introducing herself as saucy Oliviér) meets New York playboy, Tanner. Except, Tanner isn’t what he appears to be. Deep down, there’s a sweet man, one aching for love. Will Missy be able to drop her new persona long enough to let him in and meet the real Tanner or will their whirlwind romance fizzle out?

I liked Missy/ Oliviér. She was strong and sure of herself. Even when she wasn’t quite sure about Tanner or the things he offered, she took it all in stride with her head held high. Her inner monologue also made me chuckle a few times. Tanner himself was a complex and yet simple male interest.

I think my favorite part of this story was that both Missy and Tanner had titles to their names that did not describe who they were deep down. Traveling that journey together to find themselves and each other was beautiful.

Even though I’m used to reading paranormal romances by this author, M.L. Tompsett has a way with standard romances too.

Chemistry

Adrian and Missy meet in Las Vegas. Both of them are feeling stagnant in their love lives and are ready for a change. Even if they don’t fully realize it themselves. To the point where they’re so guarded, they’re immediately keeping secrets from each other.
They hit it off but fate is conspiring against them. When Adrian’s enemies come knocking (I really hate these guys) things get really complicated really fast.
A well written story with naturally flowing dialog and believable characters.

A fresh and tantalizing romance

Tanner and Olivier (aka Adrian and Missy) meet at a bar in Las Vegas and have an intriguing and scorching night together. The next morning, a pounding hangover headache is not the only issue they have to face.

Fate brings them to Hamilton Island in Australia, where their relationship deepens but skeletons of the past tear them apart.

Will Tanner and Olivier overcome the obstacles and escape from the menacing revenge of old foes? Or will their enemies’ wrath deprive them of their most precious treasure and destroy their lives?

Insta Bride was a sexy-fun read. I loved the dynamics between Oliviér (Missy) and Tanner (Adrian) and their chemistry was off the charts from the very beginning.

There were many twists and turns woven into the story line which had me captivated and intrigued. Proving, that opposites do attract and people can change if they meet the right person. Fun, fast-paced and highly recommended to anyone who loves a feel good love story.

This author's works clearly aren't for me, so it will be my last (to everyone's relief, I'm sure lol).

Notes
- negative portrayal of BDSM (inc. abuse)
- stereotypical "gay best friend"
- not edited
- I enjoyed the Hamilton Island bit though (strongest part)
- author's best work to date
- very stylish typesetting

This was a sweet and sexy story that was easy to read and perfect for a day at the beach. I loved the exciting jet-set romance of Missy and Adrian. The story flowed well and moved at a fast pace and I liked that the couple were equals. Their drunken Las Vegas meet-cute and spur of the moment wedding was a lot of fun. They have some hurdles to overcome which are great for building tension and deepening their relationship. Well-done!

Omg, this book was hilarious, I’m still smiling over some of the best comebacks. I loved Missy! A clever businesswoman with a head on her shoulders, she was also refreshingly quirky, outspoken, and level-headed. She didn’t hesitate to put meanies in their place. Missy and Adrian— or, as they get to know each other, Olivier and Tanner —meet at a bar, both used to being wanted only for their money or name. Now, undercover, with no expectations, they come to realize their attraction is real, and this time, it’s special. I love how they threw themselves in the moment, with what they did in Vegas — seriously, this part was a hoot! Or as Missy would say, holy crunch apples! Also, who doesn’t want a best friend like Neil, who truly cares for you, or Missy's two, new friends she met along the way. There were lots of twists that kept me turning the pages. In the end, it all came together in a way that left a smile on my face. A real pick-me-up read.

This was so much fun. Missy is my kind of woman, strong, knows what she wants, with a good heart and great sense of humor. I was instantly drawn to her and can see why Tanner/Adrian fell head over heels. Tanner was also a great character. I liked that he had more layers and was deeper than the average 'rich' hero.

The premise was too adorable and things move quickly, making this hard to put down and a one sitting read for me. With the secrets they've kept from each other, they face some obstacles, especially once a few truths are revealed. I loved the realness of the way things handled. Of course as they are trying to navigate love, there are some other things going on that could ruin them...

An exciting read with plenty of chemistry and a great sense of humor.

Loved this fast-paced romance about a smart, successful woman who just wants to blow off a little steam after a career success who meets a famous New York City billionaire, who’s playboy reputation hides his desire for true love with a woman who loves him for who he is, not his money.
Missy James uses the fake name, Oliviér, to hide the fact that she is wealthy and successful. Adrian Steele, who goes by his friend’s nickname for him, Tanner, to hide the fact that he too is wealthy.
Oliviér overhears a conversation between Tanner and his friends and suggest an insta bride so he doesn’t have to worry about not having a date to his friend’s wedding. Oliviér agrees to be the insta bride and signs a prenup.
What starts out as a fake marriage grows and the two come to love each other for who they are, until Tanner’s past comes back to bite him, and he has to win her back.
This is a funny story with plenty of witty one-liners and steamy romance scenes. There are some great secondary characters, such as Missy’s best friend Neil, and some awesome descriptions of a beautiful island getaway in Australia that prompted me to google it after finishing reading.

A fun and cozy romance

I thoroughly enjoyed this one! Unlike some of the other romance novels that I've read, this one had a surprise twist. Missy is hanging out at a bar with her friend as a sleazy trio are plotting against their friend Tanner. Tanner ends up talking with her and she tells him about his buddies. Plenty of drinks late, both Missy and Tanner get a " fake wedding" so that he can go to a wedding in Australia and not be pestered about not having a mandatory date. Neither of them realize that they are using fake names because they don't want to used for their wealth, which creates the more drama to unfold. There's plenty plotting and scheming as well as some steamy romance that will keep you turning the pages just to see how it plays out. I highly recommend this one!

Enjoyable. Would be interesting to see it as a full novel

I will admit that this is not the sort of story I would choose usually, because my autistic spectrum brain can’t deal with books written using present tense, no matter how trendy it is.

However, this is about the story. As a novella, it was an excellent weekend read. The story kept me occupied present tense notwithstanding which is a credit to the author. Guy meets girl, both of them wealthy enough to want to hide their real names. Baddies are allegedly friends of the guy. Throw in the secret that he is a BDSM Dom, and it was a good mix. Loved the description of Hamilton Island down to the short runway. A nice bit of action at the end, baddies receive their just desserts.

There’s so much in this story which could be developed further, which would make it even more fun.

Fair. The dialogue was stilted and wooden in places. Honestly, for the length of the book there were too many characters and too many side plots. Most of the story was the set up and then BOOM. They are both in Australia. She's in labor. The bad guy is there. And his (new of 8 months, former hacker, now secretary, that is back in the states, they met at a coffee shop, and he was originally hired as IT at MMCs company) (seriously get real). Then the two divorced friends of his are there, because they are all friends, and her BFF that's gay they thought was the father.
And btw at the end her evil stepmom is in jail for killing both her parents.

Too many extraneous details. Whew.

I love the whole concept of this book. Agreeing to a fake marriage after only just meeting is not realistic, but that just adds to the charm of the book. Thinking a Vegas wedding isn’t real? Totally believable as well as entertaining. I like the fact is set in the US and Australia. There are also some nice little twists in this story, which I won’t go into detail about as I don’t believe in writing spoilers. You will just have to read them for yourself.

This book is certainly an enjoyable read.

It's always good to take a break from your typical genre and read something light hearted, funny, and excellently written. ML Tompsett has a way with words that immediately draw the reader into the story from the very first sentence. Insta Bride is a sexy, steamy romance that finds Missy and Tanner after a fateful hookup in Vegas as they set off on a deceptive marriage where love, lies, and fate intertwine. Great one liners, twists, and some surprises I did not see coming. A good read indeed.

This book was very professionally put together, with its great formatting and graphics for each chapter, which impressed me. I also loved the cover. The two main characters were super-sexy and got together very early, with action throughout. Set in Las Vegas and Hamilton Island in Australia, the settings were very glamorous and exciting. There was intrigue and even a surprise ending.

Fun read.
Missy and Adrian meet in a bar by accident, hiding their real names, they begin a lustful adventure that takes many turns. There relationship starts as superficial and evolves into much more. Both characters are strong willed and engaging with complicated backgrounds. The author does a great job of weaving in surprising twists and turns. What starts out as erotica, turns into a drama with more depth.

I decided to take a break from my usual genre and read something lighthearted, funny, and well-written. "You need to get laid" is the opening line for this book, and it instantly hooked me. Missy and Adrian are destined to meet and fall in love, but their journey is filled with lots of twists and turns, making it a roller coaster of emotions. I would certainly recommend this to anyone looking for a fun and engaging read.
