DTF. Support your local girl gang!

These dirty, tough females were ready to go ALL. THE. WAY.

As an artist, I was used to getting creative and thinking outside the box. But this time, I might be in over my head.

Or head over heels …

I was ready for love. And the life of wedded bliss that was sure to follow. I just hadn’t found the one. Until I found myself doing the horizontal mambo in the backseat of my best friend’s car.

Aiden was the hottie Aussie who ran the famous Scarlett Herb restaurant. His shizzle sauce was the perfect condiment for the pink taco truck I worked.

I was positive we were just friends until one little plus sign turned our world upside down. I wanted forever, not a baby daddy.

Apparently, he hadn’t kept his shizzle sauce to himself.

Just the tip? Yeah, right!

Kat Addams is an author of contemporary romantic comedies. She’s had a passion for making readers laugh since she wrote her first over-the-top comic book at the age of eight, earning her high marks and concerning looks from her grade-school teachers. She’s a graduate of the University of Memphis, where she studied English literature and creative writing, and fell in love with the rom-com genre. Her books can be described as equal parts shameless and heartwarming with a heavy dose of heat.

When she’s not writing about exotic men and daydreaming of worldly travels, you can find Kat in her hometown of Memphis, drinking craft cocktails on patios and raising her mini-me with a girl-power attitude—but not necessarily in that order. In her downtime, she loves to embark on outdoor adventures, empower other women, and lose herself in good books and good music.

Kat satisfies her darker side by writing paranormal romance with wicked humor under the name Fritzi Cox. Fritzi provides Kat with an outlet to cause mayhem and debauchery with an element of suspense. Whether you’re reading a book from either Fritzi or Kat, you’re guaranteed a hilarious adventure.

I absolutely LOATHE when authors do this!! It is misleading and downright f**ked up to turn a somewhat sweet & enjoyable story into a trope that should have had a warning!

There was no reason to insert this piece of trope as it didn't serve any purpose at all at this late stage of the story. All it did was destroy it for me and make me mad since I avoid the whole trope!

I've been dying to get to Aiden and Layla's story throughout this series and I can honestly say it was as comical as it was beautiful. Kat Addams brought such a beautiful thing into the world with the DTF Series. I can honestly say I'm sad to see it end, but I'm so happy with the way each character grew along the way and found their way into our hearts. The positivity and strength Kat brought to life on the pages of this book are one of the many reasons I'm honored to consider myself a self appointed DTF member!

Also, I'm not sure I'll ever look at a taco truck the same way again. 😂

This book is the last in the DTF (Dirty.Tough.Female) series. Aiden and Layla are best friends that do everything together. Aiden and Layla are about to get the surprise of a lifetime that will possibly change there life forever. Layla want's to finish school first and Aiden is in the process of finding a second location for his restaurant. These two have such a great group of friends and family that will support them along the way. Will Aiden's past come between these two or can they look past this and move forward with there relationship. This book was really good and I couldn't put it down once I started reading it. I can't wait to see what Kat writes next.

Layla and Aiden are friends,or should I say 'friends with benefits'.

With both parties agreeing that they're just friends 'scratching the itch' *wink* . Layla soon finds out that the 'Just the Tip' Method of birth control obviously doesn't work. *oops*

But what's a girl to do when she learns she's knocked up by her 'friend'?

Kat did an amazing job with the DTF ladies, I'm sad to see the end.

This is the fourth book in the DTF (Dirty. Tough. Female.) series and the author has saved the best for last. This is Layla and Aiden’s story and it is all that and then some. Layla and Aiden started out as friends and then progressed to “friends with benefits” after participating in a salsa dancing class. The fact is that those Latin dances know how to really get the body moving and people just cannot help themselves to feel sexy. Suffice it to say that these two friends get one heck of a surprise when Layla discovers she is pregnant and then has to tell Aiden. How is he going to react after what happened in his past? How will Layla deal with all of the changes coming her way? This is one storyline that has all the feels. It will make you laugh and have you rooting for these two to get through the obstacles they face while focusing on the ever-present support of the best friends a girl could ask for. I volunteered to read a copy of this book.

Okay I have to say this... Kat Addams is the new Rom-Com Queen!!! This book was amazingly well written! I laughed so hard I cried. This entire series was a favourite of mine and this book was a great way to close out the series! Kat writes the best awkward love stories ever! This is a must read if you like books that aren’t quite what your expecting!

I absolutely fell for this story! I have been wanting to dive into the DTF series, and saw this and though it was perfect for my first go. I loved every moment. It is a brilliant storyline, and also hilarious.

I really like the premise of this book, between the innuendos flying, to the comical nature of these two, right through to the perfect friends to lovers style read. It is written beautifully and truly keeps you hanging on every last word.

I liked the pace of the story. It doesn’t fly by, but you aren’t left trudging through lots of unneeded, over-the-top detail. It just perfectly lines out the surroundings, background and current detail to make you feel like part of the adventure, and keeps you fully entertained throughout. Perfect.

The characters are absolutely brilliant. Addams gives us background and characteristics to truly bring these two to life, and you can’t help but cheer for them. You really want to see them stumble right into each other’s arms, for good. I loved that. I also really enjoyed getting to know the two of them.

Overall, an absolutely top-notch read. I highly recommend this book, whether you are a friends to lovers kind of reader or you just want a good laugh, whilst you pine over love, this book has got you covered and is brilliant!

This is my first book by this authors and I thought it was super cute. It was fast paced but that worked for this type of story. We got to see the pregnancy from beginning to end and I loved that. I’m a sucker for these types of reads. I haven’t read the other books in this series but honestly, after meeting the secondary characters I can’t help but want to go back and read their romance journey.

I liked Aiden. He was super sweet. Layla was super funny and I couldn’t help but laugh at most of the things that came out of her mouth and what was in her head. There were some twists that I didn’t see coming but honestly I loved them. They have this story that little extra something that I didn’t realize that it was missing.

The story mainly revolves around lack of communication but it was fun. I wanted to throttle them a lot but in the end, it was worth it. So, it was an enjoyable read. You know she winds up pregnant from the blurb so if you love those types of books then this one will be an enjoyable. Now, I’m giving it 3 stars because while I liked the characters and the story, the writing was a little..... stilted at times. It wasn’t something that totally hooked me from the start. The banter was good for the most part, but then at other times it seemed forced. This didn’t make it - horrible book, just a little harder to read. #2OCCJD

This is the 4th book in this phenomenal series and is Aiden and Layla’s story. Layla and Aiden are friends with a friends-with-benefits scenario going on, which is all fair enough until there is a + sigh of the test stick changes everything. I loved how all off the DTF ladies support and are there for each other no matter what. The more that Layla protests that they are just friends, the more their friends can see that there are feelings and chemistry involved. This is a beautifully writer tale by the queen of rom-coms, and this story is filled with drama, twists, fun, entertaining, and is a steamy and humorous read. I was totally captivated throughout this riveting and addictive page turner. I cannot wait to read more from this gifted author whose work I highly recommend for all.

This is part of the series and I just cant get enough of the DTF Ladies. We are back with the girls and all sorts of things are happening. This book is a great addition to the series Dirty. Tough. Female and is a fantastic Rom Com that will have you laughing out loud in parts to and loving the idea of a taco truck. This is book #4 in this series.
Book #1- On The Rox
Book #2- Cream Pied
Book #3 Whip It Out

I read this book in one sitting as I love these characters and the way that this author writes them they feel like old friends and you wish you were in the DTF gang. We get to see the pregnancy from the beginning and experience it all with her. Layla and Aiden were just friends with benefits and when a pregnancy gets thrown in its something they were not expecting and they don't communicate with each other very well.

Aiden was so lovable and he would do anything for the people he loves. The thing is all he wanted was to be friends with her and he reminds her of this all the time. But hey ho nature had others methods after one time they both sort of got carried away with each other.

I loved the banter between the ladies and I feel that this story was and awesome carry on from the others. I love the bond that these women have and I feel that this author writes there relationships together brilliantly. They are completely relatable and everything that has ever happened you could see it happening to yourself. As the reader I do feel very invested in this series and the reader can really connect with the characters. There was drama, love, steam steam steam, romance, laughs and girl power moments. I did enjoy reading this book as I have the others in the series and I really like this authors writing style. Her books are fast paced, fun and easy to read and I'll defiantly recommend them to everyone.

Book 4 and the final in the Dirty Tough Female (DTF) series and it was the perfect way to end it. Loved Aiden and Layla. I have been waiting for their story since book 1. Friends to lovers is always a favorite of mine to read and this fit the bill perfectly. They started out innocently enough as just friends until they started dance classes and the close proximity was all they needed to change that. They moved quickly towards friends with benefits until a surprise changed their relationship to something more permanent – parents. Will they be able to stay just friends and co-parent or will their feelings morph into something more and give Layla her HEA that she has always been wishing for? Loved these girls so much. I wish I could find friends and sisters like them. Kat did a wonderful job on each book of this series. She created likeable and realistic characters as well as wonderful storylines that had you laughing, crying and swooning right along with them. I am so sad to see it end but I know that I can always revisit the DTF gang anytime.

The thing that I love about the DTF books is the sisterhood that these ladies have with each other. No matter the circumstances, they build each other up. It's just so refreshing to see that in a series. Also, while Kat's books are quite hilarious, there are also plenty of big emotional moments. I like that she makes me laugh my butt off and also bawl my eyes out. This book is the last in this series and I admit that I'm a little sad to see the ladies go. I really loved the story of Aiden and Layla. Best friends who are about to be surprised with a baby. Their journey together is plagued by many bumps in the road. She wants to finish her schooling and he wants to open a restaurant. Both are hard to do with a baby. Luckily, they have a great group of friends to help them out. I really loved the way Kat ended this series. Great closure and a few happy tears.

Aiden was enjoying running the Scarlett Herb with his brother and getting ready to open a second location. Layla wants to finish school and loves working with DTF on the pink taco truck. Aiden and Layla do everything together as best friends including having a night of fun together in the backseat of Aiden's car. Aiden and Layla are in for a surprise but his past may be the one thing that comes between them. Just the Tip is book four and the conclusion of the DTF series.

Just the Tip is my favourite of the DTF series. This is a MUST READ series! I am sad that this series has come to an end and I am going to miss all the quirkiness of this group. Aiden and Layla are just too sweet and funny. There were some unexpected twists and it was great to see that the whole DTF crew got their HEA's in the end. Like the rest of the series, Just the Tip is and hilarious and emotional story. I can not wait to see what comes next from Kat Addams and she has definitely become my go-to for a romantic comedy.

I am a huge fan of the DTF series.Just the Tip is a great way to round out the series. Layla and Aduen’s story is one of family and communication .Family is not always blood, but people who love and support you unconditionally. Communication is needed to keep a relationship going, lack of communication can lead to misunderstandings and heart aches.
Kat Addams writes another story in the DTF series about strong women who stumble, but is supported by other strong women and the alpha males that empower them to be stronger. “To the strong women. May we know them. May we be them. May we raise them.”

The biggest thing I love about this series is the girl gang of friends who do everything they can to support each other. No matter the circumstances, each one can count on the other.

Now as usual with Kat Addams, this book was hilarious. Full of so much humor, I read about 95% of it with a smile on my face. But don’t get surprised when Kat slaps you across the face with a new wave of emotions.

Aiden and Layla are best friends who get the surprise of a lifetime when Layla sees two little pink lines on a stick. Before they know it they are on the ride of their lives, both wanting to start their own adventures in life and being torn on how to do so with a baby in the mix.

And that Aussie accent? Bon Appétit.

Layla and Aiden both valued their friendship and were determined to deny the chemistry between them until a dance lesson changed everything. Now that they have experienced what they could have together walking away is no longer an option especially when they find out they are about to become parents.

Kat’s actions will have you laughing out loud and Aiden is exactly what she needs for balance. Their journey to parenthood is filled with humor, heat and heart as they face the obstacles that life throws at them but with the support of friends, family and each other anything is possible.

This was my favorite book of the DTF Series. I love Aidan and Layla’s relationship! Friends to Friends to benefits to parents to be to much much more. This book is short and sweet with a lot of love, not a lot of drama and a group of great characters we have grown to love over the 4 book series!

I don’t know I always do something like this, start a series by the end! But now I know how good this book was and now I want to read about all the other 3 DTF (Dirty, tough female) of the group and learn more about this amazing group of woman, who got each other’s back at any time and situation. I’m in love with their friendship.

Layla just found out that she is pregnant with her male best friend Aiden. It was really funny to read how she found out and how her life’s plan went down hill, you know: the princess life, with a husband, and a bunch of kids.

Aiden is Australian that went to US and opened a famous restaurant and from the moment the saw Layla he wanted her in his bed, but soon enough they become friends and friend-zone each other, until a salsa class changed everything and now he was a baby daddy.

I love them together and their chemistry was unbelievable! I found it amazing how both of them jumped on parent duty from the beginning and oh my if you have a baby daddy in your life give this book for him to read, because Aiden is a role model in a dad duty and how to treat a pregnant woman.

They were living in a love bliss, like a wonderful couple they are, until some sick twist of his past came bargain at his door. Holy hell I wasn’t expecting this twist! But the outcome from everything was super beautiful.

Talking about beautiful I’m in love with the last chapter before the epilogue! It was so dreamy, everything, and it only proved my point that they were it for each other. Can’t wait to read the previous books from this series!

This was such a great read, once it landed on my kindle I couldn't stop reading it. Kat Addams always bring the most amazing stories EVER!!!

The DTF series is coming to an end and this book being the last in the series was for me the cherry on top. This is a ROMCOM masterpiece!!! it was funny, swoony, steamy, had some surprises I wasn't expecting (AT ALL!!) and extremely entertaining scenes but also I love the fact that friendship and sisterhood was constant throughout the whole series.

Aiden and Layla were so so good together, from their best friend zone moments to their horizontal mambo full body dance in a back sit of a car , these two were perfection. Best friends becoming something else with a little help of a positive sign on a pregnancy test .

Is sad to see this series ending (this series gave me some of the best laughs ever) but I'm also excited to see what this brilliant writer is bring to us next.

(3.5 stars)

Layla and Aiden are friends, friends with benefits to be more specific. Both have agreed that friends is all they are, friends that scratch that itch. Super friends. Well Layla finds out really quickly that the just the tip method of birth control doesn't really work. What's a girl to do when she finds out she is knocked up by a guy that keeps reminding her that she is just a friend? Or is it that Layla keeps reminding Aiden?

So, this is my first Kat Addams story and I didn't realize that it was part of a series, let alone the END of that series. There was a little storyline that I seemed to have missed, but that was just with the friends and not with Aiden... I am assuming here. This was a super fast paced read, loads of drama, and the word friend was dropped I swear 1000 times in this story, and I understood why it was, it just started feeling a little much. For me this was just an ok read, there were a few LOL moments, the naughty bits were just ok, but loads of drama with a super huge thing thrown in at the 72% mark... this was just a bit all over the place for me. I give this 3.5 stars.

I've enjoyed each of the books in this series... In this edition, we have Layla's story... and Aiden, who she's become good friends with... She keeps denying there's anything more to them than friendship... her friends all see it, so why can't she? She has these grand plans for what her future is supposed to look like... will one hot Aussie find a way into her future? As with the other stories in this series, there were times where I laughed so hard I cried, and others that just made me want to cry. I love how these women have each others' backs no matter what. There is reference to a miscarriage, so if that's a trigger for you, this may not be the book for you.

So most of the time, reading a book in a series out of order makes me feel like a numpty and put it down - but not here!

This book has the sweet romance, laugh out loud moments and emotional hooks that made me instantly want to read everyone elses' story!

Its a little awkward, a lot funny and made my heart have all the feelings as we follow Aidan and Layla's relationship. I found that whilst it was a light read, definitely Rom-Com in my world, it was super enjoyable. It also didn't fall into a cliche trap which was a bonus! I loved following their relationship as we rememebr why Just the Tip is not adequate birth control!

I really enjoyed this read from Kat Addams and am now deovuring the previuos books!

This series has totally been one hell of a hilarious ride, and I will NEVER get enough. First of all, there's a unbreakable sisterhood that I totally want to be part of, as they're hilarious together. Now, Layla is up and what a story she has. She got busy in the backseat of a car with a hottie, Aiden, and they both thought it was just a hookup until the stick turned positive. The journey takes off from there with laughter, tears, a whole lot of pregnancy, and the epic girl gang. Oh, and Aiden wasn't so bad himself! So instead of reading reviews, just hit those one click buttons for all the fun and games! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

Just the Tip, I’ve been waiting for this book for so long. Layla is my favorite character out of the DTF series. When you add pregnancy hormones plus Kat Addams it equals golden material. This book was heartwarming, funny, and lots of “you did not just do that moments,”, which made me laugh even harder. With every pregnancy you have struggles, and when Layla is struggling DTF and her best mate Aiden, is right there to pick her up. Who doesn’t like a man from down under coming in and causing a little havoc. I hope you give this series a chance and especially this story, because I loved the characters so much.

All the laughs with a ton of heart

The author has given us fiesty sexy ladies with wild & outlandish behavior and their sexy men in the DTF Series so I was expecting exactly the same in Just The Tip....and I got it but I also got way more than I expected. This story was a bit softer....more emotional, sweeter and a bit of a slow burn. Two best friends...with some added benefits have an oops pregnancy. Watching Aiden and Layla navigate their friendship, a pregnancy and burgeoning feelings for each other was so lovely to watch.

I still got to laugh hysterically but this one just hit me in the heart. Aiden and Layla were perfect for each other but both were so scared to take their relationship to the next level due to fear. I loved watching them fall so hard.

There are a few twists that throw up some obstacles that added some angst and drama to keep me on my toes. The delivery scene had me cry laughing and as a mom I was like “oh hell no!”. So funny.

Overall, as the final book in the DTF Series this wrapped up one of my absolute favorite girl gangs in the most perfect way and I will miss The Pink Taco Truck and Rox, Betty, Nikki and Layla so much.

A great friends to lovers in this series mixed with an oops! baby. Layla and Aiden had sparks flying from the moment they met but due to past experiences managed to put each other in the friends zone. They became closer and even considered each other best friends until one night took it farther. Now there’s an oops! baby and everything has changed. Those feelings they have come rising to the surface but there’s going to be plenty of obstacles in the way. A great book to end this series.

The final book in the D.T.F series and it does not disappoint! Watching the flirtation between Layla and Aiden blossom from friend-zone to more than friends gives me those "Proud Mom" vibes. Seeing them both overcome some pretty tough obstacles was uplifting and humerous all at the same time.

This whole series has been amazing and inspiring. I have laughed, cried, fist pumped (awkwardly) and had dreams of roller coasters, strippers, and Shizzle Sauce. Leaving the crew of Outer Forks is sad, but it makes me want to go out and find my own group of D.T.F. and take on the world. Maybe not with in a pink taco truck, but hey! You never know what the future can bring!
